Amazon sent me a refund, by mistake I contacted them to make them aware of the error they told me to keep the item and refund "compliments of Amazon" a month later they charged me for the item. I contacted Amazon to try to resolve or reconcile they told me that the error was "not their policy" and refused to discuss any sort of reconciliation. DO NOT TAKE THEIR STAFF at their word

On February 6, 2021 I placed an order with Amazon that was sold through a 3rd party (Home Hardware GMR 20-1999 rue Nobel, Sainte-Julie, Quebec, J3E 1Z7). The order I placed on February 6, 2021 was for 2 Units of 2x4L of Alaskan Liquid Ice Melt as stated on my order form and also on my invoice. I only received 1 unit of the 2 units as per Order 701-1465978-9593013 and Invoice: INV-CA-216147530-2021-5083. Both state that I was ordering (2 Total Units) of 2x4L Liquid Preventer Ice Melt. Cost including shipping and tax, TOTAL INVOICE= $100.11. I was comparing this to walmart.ca -Alaskan Ice Preventer 4x4L =$89.97 Shipping & Handling included plus tax = TOTAL INVOICE of $101.67 or Costco.ca - Alaskan Ice Preventer 4x4L containers $69.99 Shipping & Handling Included plus tax = TOTAL INVOICE $79.08. I do check the pricing and Amazon is always very competitive with Walmart. WHY WOULD I AGREE TO PAY $100.11 for only 2 x 4L ($50.05 per 4 liters) when I could have purchased it at Walmart 4x4L for $101.67 ($25.42 per 4 liters) I ordered from Amazon because I expected that I was receiving a total of 4x4 liters of Alaskan Ice Preventer, comparable to Walmart prices. After numerous conversations with Amazon Customer trying to resolve this issue, I received today a generous coupon from Amazon. But let me be totally clear, it was only Amazon that issued the coupon to me NOT the 3rd party (Home Hardware GMR 20-1999 rue Nobel, Sainte-Julie, Quebec, J3E 1Z7) they have done nothing but take my money and run. So, my advice to everyone be very careful when you are dealing with a 3rd party through Amazon. I would suggest to never purchase anything from Home Hardware GMR 20-1999 rue Nobel, Sainte-Julie, Quebec, J3E 1Z7. I will give AMAZON a 5 STAR rating! I will give Home Hardware GMR 20-1999 rue Nobel, Sainte-Julie, Quebec, J3E 1Z7 0 Star Rating!! These people are scammers!! THIEVES!!!

I have been an amazon customer for at least 3 years.I am a prime member. I received one package and the product was an empty container with the lid broke off. This was a bottle of colloidal silver. It was literally empty and no lid. The delivery person gave it to me with an opened package(wasn’t even closed packaging at all) and was so wet when he handed it to me he said your products are wet is this ok and walked away! That’s when I realized the products were damaged and the empty bottle of colloidal silver. Another shipment came it was a chew supplement for my dog(Glandex chews) they were all squished and they were useless. The container was bent too, looked like it got squished in the shipping. You can only get Glandex chews on Amazon that actually ships to Canada. I placed another order yesterday was a total of. $74 and one of the products was supposed to come today and the rest on Tuesday. I went to see if it shipped but I couldn’t get on and it said they closed my account and to call customer service, I did but they had no idea why and told me someone would get back to me about it but didn’t. Don’t even know if they will arrive even though I already payed for it. And they charged me $53.20 and I didn’t even order anything for that. I used a gift card instead. But that charge went on my account and I called and told them that I wanted the refund for what they charged me for nothing, they said they will do a refund but that never happened. Now I can’t get access to anything that I ordered in the past and any info at all on my account but they didn’t give a reason for close the account! VERY UNHAPPY with Amazon

Received a cosmetic item with only Chinese instructions. No list of ingredients or instructions in English or French. Then received DVD box set that was shipped in a plain brown paper envelope. Arrived all broken and this was "PRIME" but I had to pay to return item to seller in the US. Seller only refunds 20$ on return shipping but it cost me 29.58$. Huge rip-off. Amazon has become the leader of cheap scams and scam sellers. They charge for PRIME but we end up paying for return shipping. NO MORE Amazon for us. We have been ordering several times each month for many years but the quality of items and quality of shipping has hit an all time low.

I was very disappointed with my last order, i had to order the same things 3 times in order to receive it. The first time it was saying it was late then it was being returned to sellers as per customer service, then re-ordered again then again items were late and never came and then third time they told me to cancel that order and for me re-order which i had ordered the same and added a couple of other things, then again it showed as coming in late when i called and spoke to Logistics they told me that the address had to look up name on directory which i had the address plus that and the way she was talking it was like there was no address. So she said if it doesn't come the next day to call i looked up and it said i will get it in the next 2 days. I called when they told me to verify my address some how there system had another address which i had ordered for before and was wrong information so i don't know from one day to the other wrong information was in there system. Another thing i notice is i order 4 Fabreeze size was 3" x 4" and they put all of them in separate boxes which the size of the boxes were big enough to fit a 3 toasters in them, what a waste. and i noticed today the items that i got the same size box was sent which was double the size and one of my corelle bowls i orders was smashed to pieces which looked like it was intentional. i just want to say i am a prime member order allot of things the past years and was very disappointed lately.

A few times now- unreliable & late delivery & lost shipments especially with partners and chinese vendor, only giving a head's up in a very short notice via email. Weird that Amazon refused to publish a review I made about an item not delivered by partner even though it did not have any violations at all & the choice of words was just correct. It seems that they are choosing which reviews to post and protects the image of a/some seller/s. Some customer service reps based in a foreign county are a disappointment especially in Canada, it could be exhausting especially that at times they seem not to totally understand your predicament which is expressed in simple English, but still insist they do without resolving the issue/s. If the items can be bought in other sites, I now buy them outside of Amazon

Trying to reestablish an existing account not used for years. Asking for verification of an address from 13 yrs ago, that is the only way to up date the account. After being hung up on and speaking with 3 different reps and telling me how to reset the account , which never worked as they said because it still pulls old information, the last one gave me a lecture on having password resets and told me if I really needed to get an Amazon account to get a new email and set it up. That really is horrible Customer service.

So, some clown up the food chain cancels my order because they suspect fraud. Okay, fair enough. No one sent me an email, no one called to tell me that corporate Amazon Canada felt the need to leave me hanging waiting on a product I needed. Good work Moron. Never again does Amazon or Amazon.ca get a dime out of me. I urge everyone to go out and shop local and support your neighbours and let this company rot on the vine. Stay safe and Happy New Year to all except corporate Amazon Stuart

Had an issue with a product purchased where the cord of the nail file/drill, shorted out, smoke started coming from it, then it completely went kaput. Called Amazon to explain what just happened. The agreed to refund my money and send back the unit. Then offered me an additional $5 courtesy credit. Asked to speak to a supervisor, by the name if JAREKA, this person has no compassion and is very cold in her response to what occurred with this item. I advised her this could of been a bigger issue had this caught fire, her response, "well nothing happened" return the item and once received you will receive your refund. Advised that she would not provide anymore compensation other than the $5. I said that's a slap in the face. I wasn't asking for thousands, but at least $25-$50 for the experience i just had with an item they had on their website. Not even a sorry to hear that, I cannot believe this individual is a supervisor, and should be reprimanded for the way she handled the situation. Now requested a manager higher than her, hopefully will get better customer support and experience from them. Again this individual, JEREKA, NEED TO BE RETRAINED ON DEESCALATING AND PROVIDED COMPASSION.

Yea it's 2020 and E commerce has exploded. But is a 2 to 3 week delivery schedule acceptable? I live a couple of hours outside Toronto and my area is well serviced by all carriers. However, my 1 to 2 day service have now turned into 14 to 21 days or longer. I'm a good customer and easily spend thousands per year. I have to give up, this service level is unsustainable and it's time to vote with my feet. I'm a prime member...ha ha joke is on me. Time to say goodbye to Amazon until they get their act together and go back to a traditional shopping experience.

Basically, my gripe is related to Amazon’s third party vendors. When you have a bad experience with one of them, (and you will...), Amazon washes their hands and leaves you dangling. “Yes, you have gone past the predetermined availability date for a refund, you need to deal directly with the vendor...”. While still within the window of possibility for a refund, the rules of Amazon state that if your shipment is delayed you still need to deal directly with the vendor. I did that, and the vendor just strung out the delivery date by saying COVID is delaying deliveries. They then ignore you until it’s too late, after which Amazon abandons you. And to top it all off, when you try to warn people about this thieving third party vendor, Amazon refuses to publish the review. Thereafter, there is absolutely no recourse. The third party vendor is tphui on Amazon. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR!

I took a screen shot showing clearly that I'm under my father's UNLIMITED FAMILY PLAN... IM FURIOUS once again all my music is gone as soon as YOU think I don't have a subscription.. third time I've had enough we have had this family plan for a long time and order mega stuff from Amazon I'm not doing that anymore ..we are canceling and going elsewhere.. After 18 years of buying from Amazon.ca, a few years of Prime membership, great service. In 2020, now that I have limited mobility, they stopped dropping off at my house and now send my packages to a Post Office ( same address) . So, no convenience to me, I need to have someone go to a PO and collect my packages, plus, now that they are using CP and no courier, it takes 12 days for delivery, so no Prime service for me

Amazon needs to find a better carrier than Canada post, I’ve been waiting a delivery (I live in the country about 15 mins from town or post office). So Canada post didn’t even attempt my door they just left a slip in the community box. Totally unacceptable, so now I’m expected to drive 15 mins each way, possibly wait 15 mins in post office (with lines and covid) for an item I expected at my door. I know they didn’t attempt my door as I was up and have cameras. If I’d have known this I’d have drove into town and bought product at the store directly and had it a week ago.

Can’t contact amazon Canada because there is no customer service. Canceled my prime membership right away. I’m done with them

I have lost my job and they are taking money from me for a membership I did not ask for. When I did have a membership it was only for the 2 day shipping, which I do not get any more. Amazon.ca is taking my money even after we had an argument about this. WORST part is the crooks do what they can to be very hard to find and contact customer service.
