“In general Amazon does a pretty good job, but the fall down hard when it comes to gift returns. They have tracking that says the received my gift return over 10 days ago, and no refund has been issued, also contacted support who said they filled out a request for payment because they can see they have the item. Still nothing. This is the 2nd time that I returned a gift, the first time, the package was totally lost in transit. Serious issues with Amazon.”

“I used to enjoy shopping through Amazon, but now it seems like there is one issue right after another issue, shipping has gotten to where you don't know if the item is going to get there on the day it was supposed to be delivered, I lost being able to do reviews on Amazon because they told me I violated some policy, but they won't tell me which one, or if it's permanent, customer service has gotten to be bad, most of the time when you call customer service, you get a representative who might be able to speak English, but doesn't understand it, and now the truth is coming out about what Amazon has done to it's employees in the past, it's not the same Amazon as it was when I first started shopping there.”

“Do not order clothes from Amazon. Many of their clothing comes from China, which I did not know. Clothing was cheaply made, ran about 3 sizes smaller and cheap fabric. If you try to return it, good luck.”

“I like ordering from Amazon but your guard has to always be up, causing you to always do your homework on prices, also had cases where products were not as described or pictured. I also have a real problem with delivery: tracking info will state "handed off directly" or "Placed in Secure Location" when actually items were left on porch. the Plus' are you can find deals super easy ordering.”

“Using the site was easy to navigate and there are good deals however delivery was slower than expected and i have had a few items not turning up the first time, so have had to re order. Overall an alright experience”

“Amazon has a bewildering items for sale (it is the most comprehensive website to browse, I think). However, our purchase from overseas are hampered by 1) the exorbitant shipping cost to Australia which in some cases approaches 50 to 55% of the cost of the item 2) no shipping availability on books to Sydney which has become a barrier for book lovers 3) cost of books available, printed in the States are very high indeed.”

“Amazon is good in general although sometimes I face difficulties to know some basic information like items brand. I would like to see more organised website for Amazon. Another point is when you want to sort items by price for example, you will see random prices and get what you wanted sorted items. I understand this could be a way that the company tries to sale more but it is annoying. Ebay much better in that case.”
