“Pros:
I think we've bought at least one of almost everything American Tall sells- that comes in our sizes. We really like the quality and fit- of the items that come in our sizes. We have large closets in this place, and you should see how much AT stuff is in each closet. Lots!
This is our favorite company to order from online, and everytime we run across someone who's also tall, we tell them about American Tall. Seriously- like in meetings, at events, and even in the grocery store. lol A very tall US Senator now wears AT clothes just because we told him about this company. We met one of the Denver Nugget starters in Best Buy, and we told him, too. We haven't seen him during the off season to know if he has any AT stuff yet or not.
There are really only a few 'cons':
First, it's really frustrating that AT doesn't offer enough of the womens clothes in XL XT. They seem to sell out really fast. And there are absolutely no larger sizes in women's jeans, like 38 and 40 waists in 38 long, or size 18x38. They all stop at 36" waist. Since they offer absolutely no jeans for women in waist sizes over 36, we have to wear men's jeans, which stinks. It seems so strange because we happen to know several tall, larger, athletic women - even a couple of WNBA players, who buy from AT, but could never in a million years squeeze into 36" waist in jeans, and we all also need 38" or longer in length. Why would the best tall collection company in the world not also offer clothes for larger, really tall woman, especially with the WNBA taking off like it is? It's almost insulting - like plus sized extra tall women aren't cool enough to wear AT jeans.
Secondly, the AT clothes are getting a little boring. The styles are almost all very plain and the colors are sort of the same over and over and over- mostly dark solid colors like black, brown, and navy blue. Every time something slightly bold comes out it sells out in our sizes before we even see them. We would love to see some collections- both men's and women's, that are alittle more exciting and interestng. Bright, bold, intersting clothes for bright, bold, interesting people! :)
Third: Customer service is not good at all. It never has been. To get to a person, you have to go through the worst automated customer service bot I've ever seen. Not once have I been able to find the info I needed by using that thing, but there's no other option. If your problem doesn't fit one of the very few choices give, it just sends you around and around in circles until you're ready to throw your computer across the room. Then, just when you are, some email address or something pops up that you can fill out to eventually be connected - by email - with a human. It's really so bad. Not kidding.
Lastly, it seems to take an unusually long time for orders to arrive - like up to two weeks, which is a lot than other companies we order from. These days, speed is everything because we're all buying everything online instead of local stores, and we need it when we need it. They also ship by US mail, so we never know where it will end up- stuffed in our small mailbox, at the HMA office, or at the post office where we have to go get it. UPS would sure be better.
So, that's my review of American Tall. For now, anyway. We love it and we hate it. But mostly, we love it.”

“I wear a size 14 and bought these in an XL tall. They are comfy at first, but somehow the material stretches out as you wear them. So the XL eventually became loose and saggy on me. The pants fit my legs well but they were gaping at the waist. I was worried that a size L would be too tight, but they also could have maybe stretched a bit. The material is comfy but seems to trap in heat as well. I wear a 36" inseam and the tall was a nice length.”
