“Ordered the blue first. They were slightly short, but acceptable. Decided to order the black. They were slightly different, even though I ordered the same size. The black length was perfect, but the fit is a little baggy. I would say both pairs are just okay. Baggy throughout the legs. I expected a better fit there. I will keep and wear both. BTW they are stretchy.”
“I’ve bought several items so far (tops and bottoms) and am very satisfied with all of them. The sizes fit very well and the quality is great. This site is the ultimate solution for tall people.”
“I loved the first 'Intense Rust' sweater so much, I had to get a 2nd! I got the gray. Did I NEED a 2nd one? NOOooo, but these are the BEST sweaters. SO soft, cozy and well fitting. My measurements are 34x29x37 (hips) and a small tall fits magnificently! Using the measurement chart, I land at the very low end of small, tall. I worried this would be too big and baggy since it’s already oversized. It’s PERFECT! I’m not long waisted, all my height is all in my legs and I have long arms. This sweater fits in an oversized manner w/o being too big/baggy. I’d pay attention to the ‘Body Length’ measurement in the ‘Size & Fit’ description; it’s 22.5” long from the center back of the collar. For me it’s perfect, but if you have a longer/longish body, you may want to measure another garment you have and see if the length will be adequate. I can even roo the sleeves up once (though I wouldn’t have to) for the first time EVER unless I bought a men’s sweater. The bottom band of the sweater sits nicely above my hip bones w/o being baggy/too big. Yes, the shoulders are dropped, but this sweater manages to not feel or look too big. These are thick, and well made. Run, don't walk!”
“I’m 6ft. 1 inches tall with a 35 inch inseam, and I have a difficult time finding pants long enough for me. I decided to try the jeans from American Tall and, I love them. The waist and length were a perfect fit. I will definitely order jeans from American Tall again.”
“I had to return two of the three items because my body didn't fit them right (or vice versa), but they were very beautiful and well-made. (I await my refund.) The third item is beautiful and fits well!”
“I’m grateful to find this shop. My whole life has been difficult to find clothes long enough and also small enough. I have a small frame but stand about 6’ with shoes. Thanks for a variety of possibilities.”
“Pants are for teenage grandson. Waist and bottom area on pants tight even on a slender young man. Tighter than other pants in same size. Happy to get an exchange in a larger size.”
“After extensively searching online for pants with a long enough inseam for my two tall slim sons (6'10" and 6'6") who were navigating high school wearing shorts, I was thrilled to learn of American Tall. This was way back in 2018. At first, the main items purchased were denim pants and sweat pants; however, over the past 6 years nearly all their clothing comes from American Tall. The quality of fabric, design and cut has suited their longer legs and frames.
I have also bought some lounge pants for myself (5'10") and been pleased with the fit and quality.
I would encourage American Tall to create a sports sweat clothes line which they can market to basketball, volleyball, etc sports teams... Tall athletes are in need of team clothing that is made to fit their taller frames. As my son's have participated on many sports teams and the clothes were always sized for shorter athletes.
Thanks for thinking tall and providing clothes for the taller peeps in the world. Best of luck!”
