I was very disappointed that even though they are an online only store, they charge for returns. I am very picking about my pants/trousers, and was trying something new in the hopes I would like it. However, they were not my style and did not fit how I wanted them to. While American Tall might be a good option for some people, unless they change they return policy, I will not be shopping from them in the future.”

“***ONE STAR so maybe it'll prompt these people into providing CUSTOMER SERVICE*** It's impossible to reach this company for customer service. The only method they provide is a chat bot which doesn't work. Be VERY CAREFUL when you order any thing from them. Their website blipped, causing all the items in the shopping cart to disappear. I added the items back -at least the ones that were still available- and made my purchase. Only to be surprised when I checked my email THERE WERE TWO ORDERS!!! I immediately replied to the email. No, the auto reply says you cant. I tried the chat bot. Nope. Doesnt work. No phone number. No email. I posted the issue on their tech report link.
NOTE: I did not have a problem with this particular order. The clothes are fine. I tried to order 10+ more items at a later date [** now it's 20+ because their website blipped :( ] and I can't get this fixed!!! It's crazy there's no way to communicate with these people!!”

“Quality of clothes is fine. Predictably in sizing is not. One never know if inseam length will be what you order. I ordered two pairs of pants in two colours, two different times and in each shipment one was shorter by a whole inch! That inconsistency is unacceptable. Wish there was a body one could talk to. Before putting it in the mail I want to know what the actual inseam is so I don't go through the hassle of returning it.”

“The leggings I ordered do not fit the same as the leggings I have ordered from American Tall before. This is the 2nd time I've ordered the same leggings from American Tall. I really like the leggings the 1st time I ordered them so a year later I ordered 5 more of the same leggings. The leggings I received are so much smaller, even though I ordered the same size as before. It's like I'm trying to squeeze into a size Small even though I ordered Large. I can't even wear them. Even my daughter who is super slim can't wear them.”

The material is often very poor quality, and clothes seem to not last long. Also, the structure of a lot of the items need work.”
