“Really a fan of American Tall and their dress shirts are a big reason why. Length is great and is not overly big. For a tall thin person this is a perfect shirt. Has held up well to repeaded washing.
The only mark against is is the size tag. Its about the size of a tic-tac and is made out of the most scratchy material possible bothering you all day. Why?! Just why?! Your so close to perfection without putting that tag in the coller!”
“The fit was good for the most part. Legs are on the snug side, though, and I don't have that big of legs. I was put off by the toxic chemical smell that took about 5 washes to get rid of enough.”
“Not all pieces are created equal. Have one shirt that has 2 missing buttons now and the rest are quite loose. One shirt shrunk past the point of no return. Other pieces are some of the nicest clothes I've ever owned. Regardless, it's nice to finally have clothes cut for taller folks. Happy to support these tall companies”
“Good first wear. I haven't washed them yet, but they were comfy and long. I always purchase based on the hips over the waist since my waist isn't as small as my hips are usually measured on this site's sizing chart. I wore it with black fitted shirt and black sneakers. This is a more casual look, but can be styled if desired.”
“The clothes fit my son well - he's 6'3". Loves the shirts, their texture and, stretchy fabric. The pants are great as well. I did try to buy a full suit, but it was out of stock, which is a shame as he was going to wear that to his college graduation coming up on 5/12 and 5/13 at Columbia University.
However, the textured blazer snags easily. He wore it for the first time last night for his girlfriend's graduation fashion show (she's a designer) and it already has a few snags. I'm concerned it's not going to last long.
I ordered a pair of jogging pants for myself - I need tall sizes as well. They fit nicely.
We'll definitely continue to shop there. Thanks for thinking of tall people fashion - it's been a drought!”
“I have purchased from American Tall and it is good to work with when you are not entirely happy with your order. In this case I am ok with my order, you didn't have my size in women's so I went with male sweatpants; checked the sizes and bought a couple different pairs. I am giving away at least one pair and maybe both to my tall grandson who is smaller than me so these should fit him better than they did me. and I was using the size guide but a man's waist size is not the same as our women's waist size since men don't wear anything truly at their waist, it's more of a hip thing right? Also they were tight in my crotch, so either give away or wear down lower on my hip which is bigger than my waist so tight”
“Love that there is a company working hard to satisfy the Men’s and Women’s Tall segment of the marketplace! Also love that American Tall has introduced a “Semi Tall” size for those of us that can’t find our size in regular retail but don’t fall into the “Tall” category. I am 6’3 so find myself in that in between gap.”
“Quality is really nice on all the pants I bought. Size spot on. Price is a little high compared to what I normally buy and for that reason will buy less. Length is spot on. Wish there was more unique styles for women and colors. Better quality than LEL.”
“We LOVE American Tall's clothes! In fact, everyone in our whole tall family now have wardrobes that are 50-75% AT garments now. But - and it's a big BUT ... when there are questions or issues, AT's customer service is absolutely AWFUL! It's honestly the worst of any online catalog company I have ever dealt with - and I buy a LOT of things online. Their chat bot* makes you want to throw something at your computer, and to get in touch with a real human is almost impossible. We will keep buying products from AT, but we REALLY with they would complete revamp their customer service process, with helping customers becoming a priority instead of trying to keep us from ever being in touch. (Isn't 'Jen Small' just about the worst-fitting name ever for a chat bot for a tall clothing company?)
By the way, AT crew, we tell just about every tall person we see about your company. A number of tall people- including a very tall, famous stand-up comedian and a very tall US Senator, now wear AT because of our recommending you to them. :)”
“I appreciate the work this company is doing to invest in this smaller subset of the population who need different dimensions on their clothing. I like your philosophy and company approach.”
