“Appliances diret were great but I've only given 3* because I didn't receive my item and had to cancel the order. I ordered a BBQ to finish off an outdoor kitchen area we've been building. I only had that weekend available to receive the order and build/finish the kitchen. The rest of the month I'm too busy at work and not in. Ordering with appliances direct was great and really easy. The delivery cost was £30, I needed it for that Saturday so that was fine as long as it arrived. Unfortunately the delivery company they used Arrow XL didn't deliver it. I got a delivery slot of 7-9am, that time went and passed with no communication. I spent the morning on their chat trying to get through to customer service and they sent this reply "We can confirm that the order has been taken off the route for today as there was an issue with the planning of the van and not all of the items were able to fit on," so they just cancelled my delivery on me because it couldn't fit on a van. I'll be honest I've never had that before, pretty pathetic excuse for a £30 delivery fee. I had to cancel the order and I'll buy a new BBQ next time I've got some free time to receive it and set it all up but I'll be trying a different company this time. I wouldn't order from someone who uses arrow XL. Again appliances diret were great with processing the refund and money was returned within a few days, it's a shame the delivery company let them down.”

“I ordered a cooker in Thursday 5th and the communication was great, the delivery was completed on Friday 6th without any issues. I cannot fault the whole experience and would be more than happy to but from them again”

“The fridge freezer we ordered was not the interior size advertised so we had it returned. The delivery men did not manage to 'phone me about when they would arrive but delivered it very well. The man who collected the fridge freezer did call me before arriving and collected the item very well.”

“Transaction went well more of less from start to finish. Only suggestion I would have for Appliances Direct is NOT to provide a delivery date on the original paperwork, but allow the 48 hours after the item despatch to the carrier, to provide the delivery date.”

“Easy to order and pay on line Excellent correspondence on update of order and when would be delivered On morning of delivery had a message to state delivery window and which number I was in delivery, I was number 19 Able to track and countdown to my slot Delivery driver rang to say when he would be arriving Delivery drivers excellent I would order again from AD”

“Excellent customer service from start to finish. Easy ordering, quick delivery, and when there was a problem at point of install (due to my fault), the delivery team suggested ways to solve the issue, and organised for a refund of my install, which I was called back about the same day. Very easy to rearrange deliveries and no extra charges applied. I have ordered from AD twice now and very satisfied both times, I would order from them again.”
