“Appalling service and dishonest - Experience is listed below Workman caused a leak and the company when fitting a dishwasher - the fitting was not done correctly - having agreed to pay for a plumber to attach the fitting properly and to repair the damage then reneged on the promise, All recorded on their phones. I would advise caution when using this company. Update - as per my earlier experience I was promised reimbursement and then again assured someone would be in touch from the customer services - no sign of any communication. This reinforces my view that this is less than honest. They have provided lip service as I have left a poor review but not kept their word - again. Disappointed as I bought from them based on positive reviews. I will keep this post updated while I wait for an actual response. 3/07/2024 - Still waiting!! 18/10/2024 - still waiting - I would caution anyone from using this company as you can see from my experience they put a reply up to show that they were dealing with the complaint and then radio silence. I will continue to update this review for as long as it takes until there is some accountability. Date of experience: 18 January 2024”

“After having a problem with a new hob and not the best service from the manufacturers service department who referred me to Appliances Direct who then had to refer the claim to the manufacturer replacement stock not available for a couple of weeks! Appliances Direct were then very helpful by supplying an alternative hob and once the order was updated the hob arrived in 48hrs and is now fitted and working. Thank you Appliances Direct.”

“Have used this company before and as before they provided a simple and almost painless service (had to put my hand in my pocket!) Well pleased with product (refurbished Liebherr fridge freezer) . Very happy Mike W”

“The mark of a company is how they deal with things when the process doesn't go to plan. The product we ordered didn't get delivered and was shipped back to Appliances Direct. We received an email stating we'd be contacted within 24 hours but we weren't. I then chased through the portal and was then promised a response within so many hours but still nothing. Finally I called the number provided, got through to someone almost straight away, they could already see my order details before I said hello (excellent!). They could see the product was on the way back to them but rather than waiting for it, they shipped out another unit. We added more information to the delivery details and this time, it was delivered successfully. Finally, I did get a response from the portal chase and by then they could see it had been dealt with. Ideally someone could have called me much earlier without me having to chase at all.”

“I bought a second wine fridge , unfortunately the service was nothing like my first experience the week before , I paid £9.99 for delivery when my first delivery was £3.99. The second delivery was with dpd they dumped the box in the hall near the front door leaving me to move it and remove the packaging when the previous weeks delivery was amazing the driver put the parcel in the room of my choice removed all the packaging and took it away what a different service I received, very disappointing.”

“Good prompt service. Delivery team from Luton very helpful, they raised the issue I had no appliance to return and I received reimbursement into my account within 3 days. NO COMPLAINTS from me at all.”
