Customer service was excellent, price was very competitive, no negatives at all regarding Appliances Direct. only issue was DPD delivery even though my parcel stated fragile, it came very bashed about, and stuck together with gaffer tape !

DO NOT USE THEM WHATEVER YOU DO! We ordered 2x complete air conditioning systems, wall mounting brackets, extra pipe and their installation service and paid over £3,500 for the privalege. It was a pain just to order and I had to enquire 3 times and call and speak with two different people spanning more than a week before the order was finally placed due to their incompetence - this should have been a warning sign. Our order was finally placed 1 month and 3 days ago and at the time we were told the systems would be shipped to us and should arrive within the next week, and that installation of both systems would be within 2 weeks of the order date. Since then, we've had to complete 3 technical surveys - all the same every time as they keep seemingly loosing the answers and taking around 20 to 30 minutes each time! We've been given 6 delivery dates and 4 of these I've taken time off work to be around for the delivery only for the date to come and go and nothing arrives and no one contacts to rearrange or apologise - I've given up booking time off now! Every time you try calling them, you're on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes then find relevant people you NEED to speak with aren't around. A callback gets promised. I've lost track of how many callbacks have been promised and don't happen. That said, I've had 2 calls from their area code (01484) which I answer right away (1-2 rings max), then as soon as I say hi, you hear them and they hang up the phone!! Are they trying to prove internally on call logs they're ringing?! What's the point, nothing moves forward and you just anger your customers. Finally got a complaint in that's being dealt with by their "Head of Customer Service" (HeadOfCS a. t. buyitdirect.co.uk). Felt like things were going somewhere until you realise it's an endless inbox checked by loads of people who seemingly also don't care about resolution. Tried calling our complaint handler several times (Atif Iqbal) and he's never on shift. His team message him internally via Microsoft Teams and he responds to them to promise a callback and I've had the same promised by him on email too, and again... It never happens. To summarise; it's on you if you shop with them after reading this, you've been warned, they will mess you about from start to finish and I'd be amazed if you get your system, let along the installation. Also, they're a complete ripoff when it comes to installation costs.

They are very quick to take your money even when the goods are not in stock. Promissed delivery was put back by 4 weeks They have left me without a fridge for that long

Very happy with Appliances Direct, not at all happy with the company you use to deliver your good, I'm talking about ArrowXL. I paid to have my old washing machine taken away after new one was delivered. It was not. Told by driver a different van would collect and take away the old machine, this did not happen.Contacted ArrowXL and informed that they have not been disposing of old appliances since last March. Contacted Appliances Direct and informed that this was not the case, and a pick up of the old machine was arranged for 13th April, a fortnight hence, so I now have an old washing machine sitting on my driveway for the next two weeks. As I have said very happy with Appliances Direct not with ArrowXL. Would strongly suggest you look into changing your courier company. The terrible service they provide can only rub off against yourselves, which can only do your company harm. I sincerely hope ArrowXL do pick up my old washing machine on 13th April if not I shall be forced to ask yourselves for a refund of this service which I have already paid for. Please do yourselves a favour and find a more reliable courier company who do not lie to YOUR customers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY HAVE TAKEN OUR COMPANY MONEY TWICE NOW AND TOLD US THEY WERE DELIVERING THE NEXT DAY, PAID THE £29.99 DELIVERY AND SUPPOSED TO DELIVER BETWEEN 3.40 & 4.40 THEN THEY SEND A TXT AT 2PM TO SAY THAT THEY HAVE NO STOCK AND THEY WILL REFUND OR FIND ANOTHER MACHINE 3 WEEKS LATER HOW COME WHENWE ORDERED THE MACHINE THEY DID NOT TELL US IT WAS NOT IN STOCK TOTAL LET DOWN COMPANY THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE BEFORE NOW AND TO MORE

The freezer was delivered on time and, so far, seems to be working perfectly. However, given that I specifically bought one to keep in a brick shed in my garden and that the description on the site said it was suitable for this, I was annoyed when I was told that the warranty would not be valid if I was keeping it in my shed.

Had a great experience from Appliances Direct from initial ordering and delivery to customer services 12 months on, when they replaced a faulty item for me. The item was just out of warranty however they were brilliant and replaced the item really quickly and with no fuss. Can't praise them enough and will be my go to for all future appliance orders.

I ordered a Double Oven from you and was delivered but didnt call me. When I took packaging of the top of the Oven where controls are both ends were bent back. Called Customer Services & the Lady I spoke said she was so sorry this happened. She arranged a new 1 delivered 3 days later. Had phne call saying on the way. And the drivers were excellent. They waited to make sure that this 1 was okay. Your Customer Services is Excellent. Thank you So Much.

We ordered 2 ovens, one extractor and one hob from appliances direct. All arrived on time (10 days after we ordered as per our request) and were well packaged. When we had the kitchen fitted we noticed the hob was missing a cap for one of the burners, despite me identifying the wrong burner cap, appliance direct were lovely and efficient and changed my replacement part no problem and very quickly. Would certainly use them again, things do occasionally go wrong, the good thing was the way they sorted out so efficiently.

The product I ordered was faulty. Emailed customer service, was returned and replaced within a week. 5***** all day long!!

I returned my vacuum cleaner after 6 months as it had stopped picking up. It was collected and and a replacement sent within a week. Customer service is second to none. Would highly recommend.
