When they arrived with the goods they were great. Notifications of expected delivery time were spot on. Had to delay delivery but only by a short while. Happy with value for money

We had a issue that the fan we had ordered was no longer in stock when we went to pick it up, we were refunded there and then , after writing to them we were offered an alternative fan with discount , the offer was resolved without a problem.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Do not go near this company. Rude staff, patronising call staff, technicians that never turn up despite you taking time off work and waiting in. 7 times people just didn’t turn up. Did we ever get a call to notify us or rearrange? No. We had to chase and chase this is after paying for them to come out.

Likewise, my Smeg range arrived damaged. However, the Returns Team and particularly 'Karla' were quick to order and despatch the replacement parts. No fuss, no hassle. There were also issues with late delivery (down to the lazy delivery driver not Appliances Direct) but again this was speedily rectified. No complaints. I would recommend App. Direct and will use again.

I ordered an extractor fan. The website recommended some charcoal filters. When they arrived they were the wrong size for the fan. I complained and they sent me the correct ones straight away. Although there was an initial mistake they corrected it speedily and at no extra cost. So I must say I am very satisfied with the after sales service.

My air purifier I bought last year still under warranty was not working properly so I called and they arranged to pick up from my flat and after 2 Week they deliver the New replacement I'm happy and I know some time people have bad days and have bad experience.

Timeline- I ordered a tumble drier on 5th July, to be delivered Friday 9th July. No communication, so I logged in on the Friday to see that there’s a ‘problem’ with my order, and to call them. I’d taken the day off work to be home. So I called them. I was advised it would be delivered on Saturday 10th- are you sure, said i? Yes, I’m sure that’s fine, she said. Further communication to say it wouldn’t be delivered until Monday 12th, so I took another day off work. I’d booked them to also take my old appliance away. So the delivery arrives, in comes the guy holding my tumble drier on his shoulder; he then drops from that height onto my concrete kitchen floor- said he couldn’t deliver to my utility room (right off the kitchen). No reason given. He then said he couldn’t take the old one away, as he’s no room on the van. I reminded him he’s just made space taking my new tumble drier out, he then said he’s only been booked to take a flat pack away?? Completely garbage comment. So he stalks out the door after making remarks and nosying around my bearded dragons enclosures, which was unwarranted, and quite frankly, invasive. I unwrapped the drier; to find that not only had he thrown it onto the floor upside down, he’d also smashed the corners of the drier, and it was broken on both sides. Called the company, and spoke to Danielle, who was really rude, to the point where I asked her surname (which she refused to give). I then asked to speak to her supervisor; she refused, saying she was the boss of the whole place. Ok then 🤣🤣 she finally said she arranged a replacement drier, to be delivered today, Wednesday 14th. So I take ANOTHER day off work to be home. Logged onto the tracker to track my delivery, and gosh what a surprise. It’s not trackable. Another call to the company to make sure I’m having this drier today…. And nope. I’m not getting my drier today, they can’t find it, and don’t know where it is. They don’t know when it will be delivered. Meanwhile I’ve 5 loads of wet laundry that I’ve had to keep rewashing since last Friday; and stuck with a broken drier (with sharp edges at the breaks) which they say I can’t use. Complete shambles, if you’re gong to enter into a contract with someone and take their money, then at least fulfill your side of the bargain. I do NOT recommend, if my experience is anything to go by.

I ordered a cooker extraction hood and it was (almost) delivered the next day. The driver told me the box sounded full of broken glass and unfortunately the customer has to reject damaged deliveries. This I did (or rather he did it on his little pad) and I went inside to contact Appliances Direct to let them know. On sending them a message I instantly received a message saying that they were already looking into a problem with my order and that I would be contacted in the next 24 hours. However, it was sorted much sooner and a replacement was sent out later the same day and received successfully the next day. I was very impressed that the problem was all sorted with no more than one email from me and no hassle whatsover.

Speedy delivery, but item was damaged. Picked up the next day and the days later a replacement delivered. Very happy customer excellent service would gladly use this company again.

Great service. Very happy indeed. Was given a 4 hour delivery slot. The van was here within the first hour and the driver telephoned me 25 minutes before that to tell me that. The guys were very polite, unpacked the fridge freezer for me, checked it over, took away all the wrapping and positioned it where I wanted it. Will definitely use you again. Very happy with the fridge freezer too.

Delivery date was initially changed then on the new date cancelled on the day it was due. (With no new options as yet)Took day off work for the delivery and disconnected old cooker night before as paid to have cooker disposed of. Not happy at all
