Do not pay the extra money for next day delivery, it doesnt happen. Ordered on a Tuesday, got it Thursday the following week. They also dont tell you that theres a £25 standard delivery charge until after its been purchased (used paypal pay in 3) the next day drlivery is £35. Good luck trying to contact customer services.

I’ve trying again to send a polite review but unfortunately it disappeared. Up to now I’m quite impressed with my Electriq 199 chest freezer but unfortunately what I didn’t like was the customer service side of when I wanted to know what time my delivery was going to be in the morning or the afternoon from putting my order in on Monday. I didn’t get to know via email on the early Friday Morning that it was going to be later on in that afternoon’s on that day. That’s the only thing really that I have an issue with.

I needed a gas hob that was 58cm wide to fit the space of my existing unit. The model that was our favourite had both 58cm and 60cm listed in your description. I called your customer service to confirm the actual width and was assured that it was 58cm, so I ordered it. The hob arrived today and it is 60cm! Very disappointed, especially as I had been specifically assured otherwise. Not sure yet if I will return it or do some kitchen reconfiguration, at additional cost, to make it fit. Not good customer service.

Looked like it was in stock but it wasn't, charged on credit card on ordering then got delivery 6 weeks later.

I was not very impressed by this company. I purchased a Ninja kettle after their website stated 10 in stock. When i did not receive any sign of despatch I contacted customer services. It seems they had ordered in the item, and it could be a long time before delivery. I complained and pointed out they should not be selling an item not in stock and ordering it in. After a long drawn out call they managed to get one and send it out. The box was delivered by DPD opened, and the courier took a photo because he was concerned about its state. I have purchased over £600 of items from this company but after this it could be the last. If i had not phoned customer service, I would still be waiting

Item is great, and was a good price but the dispatch time and communication from appliances direct was poor. Sent several enquiries as couldn't get through on the phone, none were replied too.

The website suggested that you could deliver my BBQ next day. It wasn’t until I placed my order it changed to 3 weeks. After 10 days I was told it was coming the next day by text and email. I waited in and it didn’t come. Then when I called customer service I was told my delivery date had been changed to 6 days later. Apparently this was due to supplier issues. It did arrive eventually.

I ordered an integrated washing machine and it was showing as in stock. I selected a convenient delivery date and placed my order. The next morning I had a call from a representative confirming my order and delivery date and was advised I would be contacted by the couriers the day before to give me a 2 hour delivery window, then went on to try and sell me additional insurance - which I politely declined. 5 minutes later another representative called and I had to say I have already received a sales call - to which he apologised. Then in the afternoon, we received another call trying to be sold additional insurance. Then less than 24 hours before delivery I received a text message stating that my order would unable to be fulfilled and it would not be delivered until another 2 weeks. I also received an email offering me a £10 discount for the inconvenience. I contacted them straight away and asked why was the item showing in stock, and why was the order confirmed, but they were unable to answer that. The earliest they could get me a totally different machine to the one I ordered was another 48 hours - I also asked if the £10 discount I was offered could be deducted from this order - I was told no, this would only be valid against a new order, I said this is a new order as you were unable to fulfill the other - so the gesture of a discount was totally useless, why would I want to order again

The installation was poor. I had to help dis onnect the power. I have to arrange to alter the door for an integrated washing machine and I had to trace where the installer had not turned the water back on for an adjacent appliance. What was my £99 payment for

Text received saying to arrrive Wednesday.. arrived Thursday in 2 separate parcels in 2 separate dhl delivery’s . Bbq very poor quality for the money . Finish shocking !

Delivery was really annoying. I was told when the delivery would be and was told I'd have choices of what to do if I wasn't in. But I wasn't given choices, they just said they'd deliver it again, but no option to leave it with a neighbour or collect from a depot. I could change the date of delivery but not chose a time. If I'd known delivery would be like this I would have ordered from a different company. The product was fine once I'd managed to receive it.

After placing my order with Appliances Direct I received a call confirming the details and delivery date that had been chosen (several weeks hence): this date was confirmed on all of the email paperwork that I received too. All seemed well except then I had a notification that DPD had attempted to deliver my parcel and it was now waiting for me at Homebase. I specifically chose a delivery date several weeks in the future and confirmed that with the person that called because the room that the appliance is for is not yet ready - so now I have had to store it for the remainder of the time and also had to arrange to go and pick it up when it should have been delivered on the date agreed. Very frustrating and not what I was expecting.

Delayed delivery twice. Advised it was not actually in stock despite original two day delivery offered. Noticed that although I was told not in stock and would be delayed the website was still offering on short delivery. Poor buying experience.

I was very dissatisfied with the delivery men. They did not put themselves out by trying to get the item into my property. As everything that was suggested just being negative. So the item had to go into a neighbour garage

Took 8 days for an item stated as in stock three different collection dates contacted on line 4 attempts to get any success.product was fine and eventual pick up hassle free

The delivery was and still is the issue still not had the item delivered two promised dates both missed photos was a random picture of a gate. Contacted DPD and was assured a call back by the delivery agent no surprise when no call received. Still waiting for a new date!!!!.
