Item delivered next day but was faulty near impossible to get hold of company/customer services emails taking up to 5days to answer. Had to buy another item as it was desperately needed managed to get hold of customer service on phone who arranged collection this did not happen then get email asking why i want to return, then further one saying they have closed case!! still have item and no refund and trying to get hold of them. I would definitely not recommend this company.

The microwave we ordered was supposedly in stock, but after paying it turned out that we wouldn’t actually receive it for 2 weeks. In that time we got an email pushing it back another 4 weeks and then another email pushing it back yet again. I emailed to tell them it wasn’t good enough and got an ‘apology’ but no offer to supply a different model or to refund the rather hefty delivery fee. I asked them to do this and they agreed but never actually refunded it. Finally arrived 8 weeks after ordering.

The product was good quality. I paid for express delivery before 1 pm the next day and the item came much after 1. I paid extra for this, I tried to call the customer services line and waiting time was an hour and 45 minutes. I emailed with my issue and have still had no reply. I would like my postage refunded!

Kettle did not arrive on the date I was given. The courier left it in the rain with no notification that it had arrived. I only found it by chance.

I know in this world that quick delivery seems to be everything but when you request an delivery several days in advance because no-one will be home before that date, it is very frustrating to know that your parcel is sitting in the door step with no one to take it in, and open to being stolen, thank goodness for the window cleaner is all I can say. Please deliver on the stated date

I purchased a fridge freezer from appliances direct that was written off after 9 months of purchasing it. The replacement team was supposed to get back to me 24-48 hours after the engineer came to have a look at my fridge freezer, now 5 days later I am yet to hear from anyone. I've called today and now they are saying I have to wait a further day to just hear back from anyone. I have lost at least £150 worth of food and work full time with two kids to feed so I do not have the time to go back and forth to the supermarket every single day to cook all meals fresh. VERY UNHELPFUL staff member cut me off and transferred me to a number that said they were too busy with an automated message that advising me to hang up.

Ordered new dishwasher and collection of old one. New one arrived next day, great, but... delivery company wouldn't take the old one away due to Covid, even though we pre-paid. Money refunded, OK, but don't offer a service you can't honour and it is still being offered on their website....

I was give a two hour time slot for the fridge freezer to arrive. I took the afternoon off work but wasn’t too bothered as I had s funeral at 3.30. The time slot came and went so I tried to contact the company via the number given yet it simply gave an automated message. Time passed and so did my funeral and the wake, I wasn’t able to do either. It finally arrived at 6pm after 12-2 being the original. The fridge freezer is fine and the delivery guys fine but no real excuse for lack of communication or lateness. So, four hours late, loss of half a days pay, funeral missed and no chance to pay my respects at the wake. So overall, no I wouldn’t rate them very much.

Brought hob. after 2 days it developed a fault. I called the manufacturer who organised for a technician to visit. He visited and said the power board seemed to be faulty and suggested that as it was under 28 days it would be best to get new rather than fix. He gave me a returns number to tell appliances direct to uplift the faulty hob and replace with new. I called them at 11.33 today and after 32 mins in the queue listening to hold music, my details were taken and I was told a different team would call me. That was almost 3 hours ago. What is taking the time I don't know - I have a family to cook for and they have just wasted the time which they could have used to get one out today. They seemed very responsive when I was looking to buy.

We ordered the appliance and had 3 different delivery dates given with excuses. If a company does not have an item it should say not in stick as opposed to taking the money and then excusing itself for not meeting the customer expectations.

Air con was listed as silent but is insanely loud. Definitely not worth the money.

Ordered fridge, delivery was 1/8/19.Next day after ordering email received saying date would not be then. Phone call from whirlpool a day later stating delivery date by Appliance Direct is only estimate as Whirlpool deliver. Date is then set for 8/8/19 but will find out time evening 6/8/19. This evening receive text saying times lot 08:00-12:00 which is no good, I ring to change to afternoon but told would have to rebook day and again find out evening before delivery date the time slot. So basically your given a date, you find out time slot evening before if timeslot is no good you then have to rebook whole delivery date only to find out timeslot the evening before ect ect

Purchased a kitchen hood from them, was dispatched fairly quickly but their courier service (DPD) was a massive let down. My order was delivered to the wrong address and I was told that it has been delivered. If it wasn't thanks to the third party's phone call who had my kitchen hood, I would be waiting for a lot longer. I was told that they'll go back, collect it and deliver it to on the same day which it did not happen and I was promissed the next day delivery. Next day I was waiting for the delivery, I got message confirming the delivery slot to be 11:31am to 12:31pm. I moved my shift to late afternoon, in order to collect the hood. I was at home till 13:15 and it didn't show up. They apparently arrived at almost 18:00 hours, while I was at work. After a lot of phone calls, I eventually got the hood the next day but the installation mount and filters that I ordered were missing. Got in touch with customer services again and a less than helpful assistant told me that I have to wait for it to be investigated before I get the spare part and there is nothing that she can do. Somehow I got the filters the next day, after few days of waiting, I had to get in touch with them again. Customer assistant over the phone was at least polite and friendly. She told me that she will send their parts department an email to see if the part that I'm after is available (I wish the other assistant who opened the case would do the same). The next day I had a message to say that the part is not available and I can have a refund or replacement( great solution after almost ten days of waiting for a kitchen hood). I had to pack everything to be collected before I did receive my replacement. Very lengthy, unpleasant and stressful process for a simple online shopping. Got my £15 delivery charge refunded to me but I don't think I'll use them again.

Not very impressed. Ordered a wine fridge on 19th Dec because they were the only company stating next day delivery and pre-Christmas. Ordered and the confirmation said 28th Dec. I rang up to complain only to be told that I could either cancel or stick to 28th Dec. I chose the latter as I needed it for 31st Dec. On the 27th morning I get an email to confirm delivery the 28th, only to get another email later that evening saying due to no fault of Alliances Direct delivery had moved to 5th January. Wine fridge arrived and it seems okay. But I won't be using Appliances Direct again. They need to review their advertising!

You can find good deals on appliances direct's page but the delivery service is awful, I've been charged 5 pounds for delivery and they've given me a delivery slot from 8am to 6pm, waste a hole day to wait for my item. DX DELIVERY ARE THE WORST
