“Help was available at the front door upon arrival. A new thing. In offering the help it was evident that the person offering the help wanted to be right. Not necessary to have this approach as said person was knowledgeable and helpful in the end. Overall an okay experience.”

“What I ordered had a hole in it. It was taped up with sticky tape and whilst I was opening it up from the postage wrapper, everything went everywhere.”

Hey Dimmi, Thanks for letting us know your feedback, apologies for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately these bags come from the supplier in very thin plastic, so can be easily pierced during transit or within the warehouse. We do take our upmost care to avoid this but if we do spot small holes will tape them to avoid any product falling out for our customers without voiding the whole product. We are very sorry the tape got caught in this instance on opening and spilled the contents of your item. We will follow this up with a separate email to you to offer credit for the lost goods. Please touch base with us via the ticket and we can resolve this for you there. We will also we make sure to pass this to the warehouse team to mitigate any future issues. Hey Matt, We understand that this concept is not for everyone but we wanted to place the focus on customer success, expand our warehouse so we can keep more stock on hand so our community don't have to wait as often, while keeping pricing competitive and stable. Now we can spend more time with each of our customers who want to chat through any gardening project troubleshooting or future dreams in-store, we even have the new coffee machine so you can have a coffee with the team! For the people that know what they’re after, the ordering can be done from the comfort of home so it's just a case of popping down at a time that suits, walking to the counter with your click & collect number to be handed over to you in a jiffy. We know the Show Room concept isn’t suited for all and many prefer a tactile experience and to browse shelves, but this change allows us to hold a lot more stock so we can hold a broader range of products and larger quantities so there are less delays and chance things will be out of stock for our community. All our products are available to see online and you can always ask for more information if you think the product page is lacking anything as this is somethign we are continuing to work on.
