I was delighted with the 8 berth lodge I booked recently. There was everything I could have needed for a holiday with my son, daughter and grandchildren. There were plenty of dishes, cutlery, bowls, pots etc for the cooking needs for 5 adults and 3 children. We were extremely comfortable in the lodge. The swimming pool and entertainment for the children was good also. We did not use the restaurant or bar so cannot comment on these areas of the park. This is the third year we have come during the school easter break and we probably will be back.

Friendly, easy check in. Lodge basic but had everything needed. Was heated for our arrival(January visit), and spotlessly clean. Hot tub excellent, only complaint was when lid taken off it blocked the view. Facilities good, swimming pools, sauna, steam room. Gym if you want it. Village was quiet but still had live entertainment on Saturday night.

We had a lovely time at Loch Lomond park, we stayed 3 nights, the only thing I would say was less than was the fee for having a dog with us, excessive I felt, we could have kennelled the dog for less.

The accommodation and facilities were very good. The only negative comment I have was the waiting time for food within the Drymsinie House Hotel on Saturday evening, we waiting over an hour for our mains then another hour for the sweet.

As much as i love the place i have to rate it poor on the basis of my last visit. Run down games machines. Out of order game's and the fact they charge full price for badminton but have taken away the court so the put a net up and u havr to guess if u won or not is beyond me. . And to the food and drink.. pub food at restaurant prices. Had 1 small bit of fish and the chips i could hold in 1 hand £10... bottle of bullmers £5.20. Pint of Guinness 4.65.. absolute joke. . Beautiful place the caravan was pristine and the grounds spotless. I know yous are in middle of a revamp but with the price hikes especially the nearly £1500 onto site fees ove the past year or 2. Looks like we footing the bill for the revamp... sorry i had to leave a poor but with those prises and rund down kids play area leaves no choice

Excellent location, the log cabin we booked had plenty of room for 8 people , there was no indoor bowling or snooker due to building works going on at the reception area that we didn't know about , but still plenty to do for the kids, overall a great holiday

We stayed in a lodge in February. It was comfortable and warm with great views across the water. The kitchen is equiped for cooking with a cooker / oven and microwave and toaster. The bedrooms are comfortable and storage space is adequate. There is enough parking outside the lodge for more than one vehicle. The club house has a good selection of meals in the bar There are 2 pools and jaccuzi , sauna, steam room and a gym. There is also a childrens play area. There are other sporting activities available, bookable at the club house .Its a short drive to Dunoon with shops and other restaurants . The countryside around the area is lovely. We had a very enjoyable visit and shall be back again

I stayed at the Loch Lomond Holiday park—I booked the royal Lomond lodge (sleeps 4) with hot tub for 7 nights. The best thing about the park, other than its spectacular views over Loch Lomond, was the staff. The staff were friendly, warm and extremely helpful. The hot tub was maintained during the weekend, which was lovely. I was, however, using the lodge as a place to write to meet a deadline. I even emailed Argyll Holidays about this because I needed the receipt for tax purposes. Unfortunately, nothing was mentioned on the website before booking, after booking, or when I contacted Argyll holidays, that this holiday park was under development adn construction. I understand that these things have to be done during the off season, however, I think it's only fair that I should have been notified as the lodge did cost north of £1500 for the 7 nights. It was not the most tranquil place to write a book with a JCB going past my lodge all day, and building work going on only two lodges over from me. The lodge itself was lovely—the only thing that let it down were the mattresses on the bed. They were extremely hard—uncomfortably so— and I did not have a restful sleep the entire week. All in all, a pity these things let my stay down because the staff are amazing, as is the site location.

We stayed at Hunters Quay for the Christmas period. It was our first Christmas away from home. We had a fabulous time. The log cabin was very clean and the hot tub was maintained 2 or 3 times whilst we were there. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. We had an issue with our fridge on arrival which was immediately resolved with a new fridge arriving within 20 minutes of the complaint - cant beat that.... This holiday has had such an impact on my children they do not want to stay at home for Christmas again! The only thing we missed was not having a Christmas Tree - we will bring our own next year.... Thanks to all the staff at Hunters Lodge - you should be very proud of yourselves. Becky Harris

Lovely log cabins, the shower wasn't very powerful and the swimming pool was particularly cold. Nice views and walks.

Our accomodation was lovely. The lodge was clean and comfortable with good facilities including a hot tub. Our only complaint was that there did not seem to be enough staff present to meet the needs of the large number of people who had chosen this destination for their holiday weekend. On the Friday evening we waited 1hour for our dinner and on the Saturday we waited 1.5 hours. This was not acceptable with two very hungry and grumpy teenagers! Staff were apologetic and almost embarrassed but the matter seemed to be outwith their control. Many people were complaining, not just about the service. but also the quality of the food being served. There did not seem to any management on hand to discuss these issues or to appease the situation. When we talked to staff they said that they did not expect the amount of people that weekend and that the kitchen was not big enough to cope with the amount of orders. However, surely any holiday outlet plans effectively and efficiently for the Easter Weekend!
