Excellent service: friendly, courteous and professional. An easy to use website and excellent call centre staff. After giving the name of my car insurance company and the policy number Auto Windscreens dealt directly with my insurance company. I did not have to deal with my insurers at all and there was no paperwork or claim forms for me to deal with. My insurance excess was paid directly to the technician by card after he had completed the fixing of the replacement windscreen. After my appointment date was agreed the technician called and kept me informed as to his expected arrival time and he was very punctual. The new screen was installed in less than an hour and the technician advised me on the technical do's and don't to be observed before I drove the car with the new screen. In conclusion I would happily recommend Auto Windscreens should you ever be in need of a replacement windscreen. T J Casson

Your representative was very polite and helpful and did a first class job and it didn't take as long as I was told so I was very pleased as after waiting for an hour for the windscreen to dry we were able to use the car! Would thoroughly recommend your firm to friends.

The work was done efficiently and professionally. I believe recruitment more staff would satisy your customers getting an early repair date. As TCS where due to have two vehcile repaired today but the windown screen had not arrived for the other vehicle. We are booked in again for Wednesday, We generally have to wait 14days for a repair. Very happy the work is always done to a high standard.

We were very impressed with the technician who came to repair a smashed rear passenger window. As well as repairing the window, he offered to look at our faulty driver's door, hoping that he could repair it. He couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely recommend auto windscreens to anyone.

Made an appointment for a repair and before the appointment I had a call to say they had a cancellation which meant I could have an earlier appointment. Driver phoned 5 minutes before he was due to arrive to confirm. Very polite and efficient.

Really pleasant and efficient chap turned up. Happy to engage in pleasant conversation as he worked. Pointing out what he was doing etc. etc. He turned up exactly on time, which in this day and age is a big plus. All in all I am very pleased. WELL DONE!

The fitting service itself was excellent but on ringing up to enquire when the fitter would arrive the response was "any time today up to 5 pm". I had been given a time of 9 until 1pm and as it turned out the fitter arrived shortly after I rang (at 10.15). Surely it should be possible to give some idea of roughly when the fitter will arrive. Other service companies seem to manage it.

Sadly I have had to have both windscreens on our two cars replaced in the last two months and today I needed a repair on one of the replaced screens, talk about bad luck. In each case Autowindscreens carried out the repairs quickly and efficiently to an excellent standard. I would always use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

The technician contacted me twice prior to arrival so There was no waiting in for hours. The chip was repaired in about 30 minutes and it was clearly explained by Tony that the vehicle was ready for immediate use. An excellent service prompt, efficient and expertly done. Thank you

Having suffered a cracked windscreen, I immediately contacted AutoWindscreens who are the designated screen repairers for my insurers (RAC). I was informed that the first available appointment was 2 weeks later. Reluctantly I accepted this and was given a time of between 9am and 1pm and was told that the technician would call me on the appointed date to give me a more accurate time. On the appointed date, I did receive a call but only to tell me that the technician had called in sick and a new date needed to be fixed. When I was told that this might involve a further 10 day delay, I insisted that this was totally unsatisfactory and, eventually, was offered a date 4 days later. The screen has now been replaced and, to be fair, the technician was most efficient and polite and did a good job. That said, I consider that 3 weeks is really not acceptable as a time to wait for a windscreen to be replaced.
