They are happy to take the money but when you make a genuine claim they go out of their way to avoid paying out, using a small print clause as an excuse which has no bearing on the incident. I will not use them again but go with others who are proven to respond decently and professionally.

NEVER take insurance with this company. Cheap at forst but full of hidden charges including £80 cancellation fee! Shocking.

NEVER Use this company. They seem cheap at first but are full of hidden charges including an £80 cancellation charge! Absolutely scandalous and the regulators should be looking into this company.

I cancelled my insurance, due to my daughter passing her test and being quoted an extra £1200, we managed to get it £500 cheaper. Autonet cancellation fee is £80 plus what I lost from the actual insurer giving me £50 back from a £300 policy only 8 weeks in.

Green Card Documents I will not be using these guys again after contacting them for the last 17 + consecutive days. I have yet to receive my Green Card documents that I have requested enabling me to drive in Europe. I have been advised and assured that I would receive my documents every day, obviously just fobbing me off. Each call lasts a minimum of 30 minutes, time that I do not have to waste! I would hate to think what anyone would do if they had a more complexed query or if you are of the older generation. I would think this would be disastrous. They are quick to take your money and that is about it. The call handlers are all nice to talk too, however your enquiry doesn't go any further. Poor customer service. Be very careful people. Here is my experience: I won't bore you with all the details but basically if you require a Greencard from Autonet who are the broker for PUCKA Insurance, PUCKA will not send you the green card direct, they will send it to Autonet for them to forward on to you, apparently! They will not send you it in the post, they will send it to you only via email. It is apparently sent to you on white paper which you then need to source your own green paper (no big deal, but inconvenient) to print off as this is required in Europe.

CHECK YOUR CANCELLATION FEES WITH THIS COMPANY.HOW THE HELL CAN THEY JUSTIFY A £50 FEE TO CANCEL A FOUR HOUR COVER PERIOD.THEY HAD ALREADY ADDED A £20 ADMIN FEE TO THE COST OF THE POLICY.

Absolute rip off.wanted to charge me £50 cancellation fee after 4 hours cover.Already had a £ 22 up front direct debit payment .Tried to blame AGEAS who i phoned and they said they would be no charge.Arrogant Miss know all adviser.

Absolute nightmare to deal with from the beginning. When paying the deposit it pinged back saying I had to call the company who then tried to charge me £20 for doing so. Fortunately my wife realised the payment had gone through despite them insisting it hadn't. There isn't a working email for the company despite the online chatting providing me with 3 I was assured worked but do not, and they are extremely unhelpful. I will not be using this company again in the future.

This is the most customer-obstructive company. Emails a renewal Notice Christmas Day, un-supported by confirmation of information ???. When phoned about now un-competitive 1/3 premium increase, insist on going through excessive questionnaire, all un-changed, to afford a review, I am courteously affording them. Nothing heard further ... log complaint on their internal e-mail format ... no response ! Cannot contact Sundays, also have terminated in-coming e-mail service, in order to REJECT Renewal. On contacting by phone, still no responses available ? Events speak for themselves !

Autonet Insurance... fails to sway What makes this insurance company so awful is the sense they are trying to trip you up, searching and grasping for a reason to hit the ‘pay me some more button’. Passionate about excessive charges, loyal to themselves, ambitious to add and then add some more, nimble in prevarication, expert at page two charges and haughty letters, so adept at causing distress and worry. Trustworthy... hmm I somehow think not.

I would not use this insurer they… I would not use this insurer they charge a £79.95 fee for simply cancelling your policy for selling the vehicle two months before the end of your policy which i had running for 8 years, It would of been cheaper just not to cancel the policy, daylight robbery, I also got a quote for a new van through them at Axa that was £444.00 when I got a quote direct from Axa it was £207.00 for the same policy

Asked me for a further £250 because I failed to tell them a claim , had to cancel the policy for £25 and then do the whole thing again for an extra £50 more than original 1st quote , bonkers why not just ask for £75 more rather than the £250 !!!!!!!!!!!!

What should have been a simple renewal of motorcycle insurance turned into a long & tortuous sequence of numerous phone calls with many different people, with promised return calls never received. Once the premium was paid, to date, have received 3 copies of the same documents. There are errors, but endless time spent phoning, and being left on hold listening to banal looped music, has failed to get them rectified. Perhaps needless to say, I won't be renewing through Autonet/MacKenzie Hodgson next year.

After buying an insurance policy and spending along time on their live chat getting documents sorted! 1 week later I get an email saying the documents have not been received also very heavy fines if you don’t get any information correct. Wouldn’t recommend them.

Awful unethical company. Avoid at all costs! Autonet are charging us £260 to add a driver to the policy (this is a safe-no risk middle aged male driver with no convictions, no driving offences etc). Our other vehicle insurance just added him for free. I requested that they let me cancel the policy so we can go elsewhere, but they will charge £80 to cancel. I have gone through all the complaints and they are not budging. Completely crooked and unprofessional.

I took out a policy in March and paid for the whole year at about £270. We changed our car in September and they wanted a further £189 for the final 7 months. I understand the car is newer and costs more however I decided that was very expensive so cancelled. For the remaining 7 months they refunded me £8 when, after a long discussion said they would refund nearer to £50. I would not recommend this company at all. Their charges are outrageous!!!
