Amazingly unprofessional, definitely won't ever be using them again. Was sent an email initially which said not to worry if I didn't receive documents as I was definitely covered from the date my previous policy expired. No documents received for nearly two weeks after paying. When they turn up the certificate of insurance shows that I was driving about, uninsured, for nearly a week, despite what their initial email had said. So I definitely wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone else or use them again myself. Shysters.

Attempted to buy insurance from them, website said there was issues with processing the payment, so I went elsewhere. I called them the next day to check payment and they advised definitely not gone through. Later that day I got an email welcoming me to Autonet. Called back and they said the payment had actually processed originally. 2 weeks later and still awaiting a refund. Hopeless customer service and waiting times to get through are a joke.

While on deployment with the Royal navy and having no access to mail or internet, my insurance policy expired with Autonet, they started a new policy without being able to get a hold of me and then cancelled the new policy, which meant i am now having to pay a large cancellation fee of 165 pounds. I called them yesterday explaining my situation and tried emailing them through the computers on board ship explaining my situation (which i have proof of) and they wont budge, the only thing they offered me was starting a new policy to cancel the outstanding cancellation fee. I already insured my car with someone new and they couldn't understand why i didn't want to start a new policy with them meaning I would have two insurers. Is this how to treat the UK's armed forces personnel? i do not recommend insuring with Autonet if you serve for the UK's armed forces.

I was gobsmacked to find out my renewal went from£400+/£600 just because i was too honest about the mileage that i do.I live on an island & dropped from 5000/1000 miles a year.I forgot to mention that i wanted accident and breakdown cover but was told my insurance went up because i changed my mileage.Gobsmacked is an understatement.

I was truly gobsmacked for dropping my mileage down from 5000/1000 to then discover that my insurance went from £400+ to £600 i did forget to mention that i wanted accident and breakdown cover to my renewal but to be told it was £600 because my mileage was low was very harsh. I live on an island & not the mainland & surely the risks are far greater for driving on the mainland & crime is very low on the island.

My name is Darren Lloyd & i was left gobsmacked about how high my insurance jumped from £400+ to £600 . I did forget to mention that i also wanted accident and breakdown cover,but my problem was i was told the big jump in price was because i dropped down my mileage from 5000/ 1000 because i live & work on an island.GOBSMACKED

Don't go near this lot. They will charge you extra as soon after they have sent you out the policy and then if you want to cancel even though the policy hasn't started they will charge you a £25.00 cancellation fee. Biggest rip off ever!!!!! There are many others out there with excellent service and no over charges.

I have been with Autonet for a number of years, I knew nothing about car insurance unfortunately. They have been charging me over double the amount of other insurance agencies and to top it off have quoted me an extortionate amount to cancel my policy, which incidentally changed by £15 in three days, when I questioned this they said the amount changed daily 😡

After close to 10 years uninterrupted business from me to Autonet insuring my van. I’ve just had the pleasure of paying 171.31 just to cancel my insurance policy. Special thanks to the team leads Michael and Shaun for not budging in the cancellation fee. To say I’m angry would be an understatement. Excellent customer service guys, and thanks for 10 years business. What a joke. Furious

Woeful customer service. A complete inability or will to respond to emails or return telephone calls. The worst customer service I have encountered for a very long time. I would actively discourage anyone from using a company that is this incompetent.

Making back street insurance look official , They will quote you then once you have paid the deposit Auotnet want additional premium costs . They don't reply to emails . Check out there Facebook page for honest reviews that haven't been paid for !!!

Moved house and went to change my address on my policy, told me it was going to cost an additional £500 even though id paid my insurance in full for the year that cost £300.. THEN they said if i cancelled id be looking at £2000 from themselves or any other insurer. They refunded the remainder of my insurance, and i found another insurer that cost £300 for the year. I hope you're reading this autonet, absolute disgrace of a company, robbing peoples money and then scaremongering me, well at least trying to anyhow to make me pay these ridiculous amounts of money. Unfortunately you've probably conned a few people doing this i feel sorry for them. I hope whoever allows this to happen has an awful day.

Terrible customer service. I was misadvised before taking out my policy. Then I was chased for additional money. I was promised an investigation into my complaints and promised call backs on no less than three occasions none of which happened. I finaly reported them to the FCA as in my opinion they are incompetent and incapable of admitting failures on their part. Will never recommend their service.

Beware extortionate Hidden costs very poor customer service passed from one dept to another they make more money on cancellations and policy changes. Do not use this company

Avoid these conmen, charged me an extra 100 quid on top of quoted price for an accident when a third party hit me in rear at a give way sign and admitted full liability and paid for everything.

Well fully Comprehensive means nothing with your company Your brokers are uneducated and I can imagine taking notes on the back of their fag packets!! Do not use this company as they are a load of cowboys!!!!
