After just reading a nurse's comment on hull live I feel I must totally disagree, she visited the store at ferry lane hull & left without purchasing her paint brush as people where coughing & said to many people together down one isle, I visited the store on the Tuesday & the corona virus precautions in place were absolutely fine, not many people allowed in plenty of staff & security making sure people kept social distancing also she stated was a free for all once inside, don't think so on my visit staff at the end of isle making sure distancing rules where obeyed, very organised I thought & customers very considerate to each other's space!! Stop complaining if your that concerned & nit picking stay at home for the sake of a paint brush!!!! Well done b&q for all your safety measures & control on corona virus on visiting your store happy to see you open again, keep up the excellent work!!! Thankyou

Canterbury Store Very impressed with the trouble they had taken to limit virus spread. Left my wallet there and within minutes they had found my mobile phone number by good detection and rung it. When I went back to the store to collect it the trouble they had taken was apparent. All staff involved were caring and so pleasant. Utmost praise !

Well heres another bad reveiw to add to the long list B&Q have, i placed my order for paint on the 24th April and was given the 29th as the day it would be delivered ,needless to say it has not been delivered ,i stayed in for the whole day waiting instead of taking my dog for a walk which with things the way they are at the moment i look forward to,i had done all the prep ready to paint all to no avail not a text or email to say it was not coming but they took the £36 out of my account as soon as the order went through,my daughter ordered plants for collection 2 weeks ago and still not heard anything theres no live chat which most places have when you order from them and the form you are given to complain online is a complete waste of time ,i will not be buying anything from them again they are completely useless .

B&q Southend on sea - Coronavirus period For the uninitiated, you queue outside as with other shops. Keep 2 m distance in store, with some aisles closed off. Only one way to check outs. Place your goods on floor in front of till that is available, then step back to the yellow line. If you have trolley, place trolley in front of til. Wait for tiller to scan items. Then step forward to pay contactless with card. Don’t know if there is limit to card payment, as I only bought a few inexpensive essentials.

Whilst waiting for an on-line order during lockdown the Stockport Store announced it would be reopening. I was able to call in at the store and pick up the items. The store colleagues Barbara and Charlie went that extra mile during a very very busy time to help me to sort out the credit note for the money I had previously paid, this action made me feel like a valued customer. Hats off to them both.

A cynical and insensitive attempt (unethical and possibly illegal - please note trading standards) to create/increase cashflow and profit at the expense of honest and hard working businesses and members of the public. I am still awaiting two tradepoint orders placed over 3 weeks ago - with little or no communication and no mechanism to contact them - even their weak and impersonal webform 'submit' button seems permanently greyed out. Whilst I appreciate the current situation is very disruptive - not least to my own business and livelihood ... I have not received any confirmation nor reassurance that my PAID orders are being dealt with. If this organisation are unable to honour online orders (both click & collect and home delivery), then they should not be offering such a service by taking payments up front with no transparency nor communication - this is entirely within their control and is not a result of the current situation - it is clearly an exploitation of such. They must firmly believe (or hope) that their (former) customer base are a bunch of uneducated naive drongos. B&Q will be remembered and judged on their dereliction of current customer service, total disregard of business/individual financial insecurity and their cashflow greed - by many (former) customers for many years to come ... You reap what you sow!

When I say I regularly use BnQ Chesterfield, I am seriously understating. Never had any quibbles but since the Lockdown and reopening I can’t believe how much I’ve missed the place and the staff are professional and I feel so safe, they are also polite, I informed and working brilliantly as a team, a big mention to the team outside keeping the queue amused and informed and those on the tills doing a very difficult mundane job in a manner that makes you feel you’re not just a number

Basically what almost everyone else has said. Click & Collect is a disaster. B&Q will take your money and then ignore you.

DO NOT USE B+Q CLICK AND COLLECT. Whilst I accept that their are currently issues regarding supply during this Covid lockdown, BQ's service has been nothing short of a disgrace. I have placed 2 orders over the last 4 weeks with BQ. I was informed that the first order would take 3 days, but was told not to turn up for collection until I was contacted via e-mail. They were very definate on this. After 10 days I recieved a nasty call asking if I was going to collect my order, threatening to cancel it. I informed their rep that I had recieved no notification, but instead of apologizing, all I got was, "well it's ready now. You need to collect it". Great staff you have there B and Q. Thinking it was a one of, I made a second order. Website said products were in stock and again collection should take a few days, and that I would be notified. I waited 12 days, to eventually get an email today cancelling my order. Don't waste your time with this joke of an organisation.

Don't shop at B&Q Manchester, Cheetham Hill, they are run it like a badly run boot camp. Staff are rude and unprofessional to customers in general. I wanted a compression coupler 22mm x 3/4 to connect two 1000mm pipes together. As I waited nearly one hour to get into the store, which seemed for ever, I went straight for the item I needed. I carefully went through the items to select the items I needed. I found out that none exist. As a final attempt ,there was one item that was already open. The packet filthy dirty, stuck down with filthy black sellotape. As I was looking at this item, a older scruffy looking female member of staff came down the isle, rude shouting, "Can I help you", I pointed to her, that I was measuring the connector end to see if it fitted, as the packet was already open. Before establishing the facts, she then rudely stated, "that the packet should not be opened", "as to protect the customer from covid 19". It was clear that the packet had been put back on the shelf, as someone returned it time ago? Isn't that a treat of covid 19 also? In that case covid 19, it can be on any closed item throughout the store, as many people would handle these items before me. Her manor was so unprofessional and threatening, rudely suggesting that I go to another plumbers elsewhere. She could have been more approachable and professional. Obvious , the lack of quality customer service training stuck out. She didn't have a protective face mask or gloves. Shame on B& Q you putting customers lives and fellow members of staff at risk at risk!!! Telling customer to go elsewhere is not professional to say the least. The irony , is that it was their part that was taken off an old B&Q bath that caused the problem in the first place, as they used a non-standard pipe measurement. Not only had I came away empty handed, I had spent valuable time and money, the job is now completed, no thanks to B& Q. To sum up, B&Q is just not worth the trouble. You're better off not B&Qing it. Go to Wicks. You know what they say, you pay peanuts you get monkys.

If only 0 Stars were available I placed an order on 28/3 for £209 (payment taken immediately) for Home Delivery on 14/4 I AM STILL WAITING . You refuse to let customers contact you , but you see fit to offer a "contact us " which I have now done TWICE ,and you have responded ONCE with a stock Impersonal Automated email with NO information whatsoever on my order. My Online account still says processing ,despite all items being in stock at time of ordering . You seem unwilling to engage with customers .. ( just read the reviews on Trustpilot ) I have passed on the details to Which Consumer Group as I am a member and will also be contacting PayPal .

You have taken £209 from me on 28/3 for a home Delivery order due on 14/4 .which I am STILL waiting for .You refuse to allow customers to contact you , except by the " contact us " forms , then you send a stock impersonal automated reply that does not give ANY ipdate whatsoever on my order .I have already contacted Which Consumer Group and provided them with all the details and will also be contacting PayPal . Please also read the reviews on Trustpilot . Need I say more

This is a money hungry company that are only interested in making money during this period. I order 9 items on the 18th of April and received a confirmation letter to the order will be ready in 3 days. I heard nothing so went to the store on the Wednesday after the order was placed and paid for to be told my stuff hadn't been picked so wasnt ready for collection. I have to say the staff were quite rude when I asked them why do they send an email to say the order the order would be ready in 3 days and just got told my stuff wasnt picked so deal with it. I understand the staff can only do so much but I ask this why open your stores if use have so many click and collect orders to get through, I put it down to pure greed. Today the 27th of April we got an email to say out of 9 items they only have 1 item in stock which means last week when I placed the order and they took my money the items were probably in stock but they opened the shop up to public without my items being picked and could be sold to everybody else in that period even tho they had already taken my money. I think something should be looked at as B&Q are only interested in making money. Your staff are dealing with the out come of your greed it is disgusting.

After waiting an hour to order online I was disappointed to find that I could not order on click and collect a Smoke detector..each time I added any of the Fire Angel range non in stock to collect only delivery!!! At a £5 cost! How frustrating as theres always been plenty of stock many other times and couldnt even order to collect at a later date??? I gave up in the end. Googled what I needed..ordered from Mano mano online and under 24 hours paid and recieved my goods. free delivery and less then B & Q!!!...fabulous service from them!!! Know where I will be going in future!!!

I ordered some paint on the 18th April for deliver on 26th April. I received a text on Saturday 25th April saying my delivery would be here AM. Nothing arrived. I understand the pressures of Covid-19 however it was them that offered the date and charged me £10 for the privilege. Not only have I not been able to carry out the job putting everything else I was doing back but we were unable to have our daily exercise because we spent all day in waiting for the delivery. I tried to call their customer service which directed me to a form on their website which would not allow me to send.
