I love getting my new little plant buddy every month. I'm not always the best at keeping on a good water/feed schedule but they're already well cared for and grown when they arrive, over a year and they're all still alive and growing. The pot designs are so lovely too. Brightens up ever space they're in.

It's extremely fun to receive the Barry's box every month and be surprised by the new little friend inside. All cacti and pots I have received so far have been in amazing condition. My little friends are extremely healthy and thriving. The added extra of a surprise gift each month just makes it a little bit more special.

A few boxes havnt turned up but it’s been corrected by them once I’ve contacted them which is good, A few of the cactuses have been way too small for the pot, and I can see on other peoples social media that they’ve received much larger cactuses so it’s a little inconsistent. But other than that, the pots are usually hella cute and the cactuses are great

Hello Reece Thank you for your review and for the great feedback. I'm very sorry to hear that some of your boxes haven't arrived. However, it's good to hear that this was promptly dealt with by our team and new boxes sent. We are always looking to improve our shipping process so these issues should become a thing of the past. With regards to the size of the cacti, as they are plants, there can often be a difference in the sizes when they first arrive. But they will all grow so they should catch up with any large ones once they have got settled in. The Barrys Cactus Club Team

Barry’s Cactus Club is amazing! Monthly little plant pals to my door with info cards on what they are and how to care for them plus treats/gifts alongside it make it well worth the monthly subscription but can opt out at any time. Though can’t see why anyone would want too, just buy more cactus shelves!

I'm obsessed with the monthly cactus subscription. They are the cutest little plants and each one comes in its own fancy pot. I love that you get given a fact card for each one which also had instructions on how best to take care or each little plant friend. You get the coolest freebies with your plants too (who doesn't love a freebie?!). Each cacti is packaged really well, I've never had any damages, and they plant itself always arrives in a good and healthy condition. I have five of them now and they're all growing beautifully still. I would definitely recommend getting the monthly subscription if you live cacti as much as I do. It doesn't cost too much and you never know what plant you'll get until it arrives on your doorstep.

Absolutely love this subscription and have done since day 1. First started out as a hobby during lockdown, but I have become completely obsessed and devoted to being a plant mother! It gives me something to look forward to each month, no matter what is going on. The price is decent, the packaging is always good (and recyclable!!). Each plant is so unique and beautiful, and I love the cards that come with it so I know how to look after them to the best of my capability. The additional gifts as well are always great - I always use my hand sanitiser and metal straws. The latest gift had these gorgeous tasting tea bags which I’m definitely going to get some more of! As well as that, each pot is lovingly made and perfectly compliments each plant. Plus, when my babies grow up, I can re-use them for new babies! Thank you so much for coming up with a great idea, it has really made a positive impact on my life. Instead of checking people’s social media, I really just check up on how other people’s plants are doing from looking on your tagged Instagram photos! I can’t recommend this subscription enough, it’s fantastic. My only downside is that I wished I’d come across it sooner and not missed out on the first couple of boxes!! Thanks :)

I gifted a monthly subscription to my husband as a Christmas present. He is also called Barry and love’s cacti 🌵 They are growing so well in our hot porch and one has even flowered. We love the variety and the little pots they come fit in well with the decor. So glad we did it!

Each month I can’t wait to see who will be the new member of my little cactus family. Have never been disappointed and one of them is even beginning to send out flower buds.

I have been using Barry cactus club for ages (over a year- I was a member of the first month of subscriptions). The cacti are super cute!! But I have a few criticisms and it pains me to be this honest: 1.I’ve had a few very late deliveries or times when my cactus just didn’t turn up.. I messaged the company and they sent a new one but it wasn’t in the best of conditions. 2.I think 15 pounds is a lot of money when cacti are so cheap in the shops now.. I know you are paying to support a growing company and for the uniqueness (this will bring me on to point3) but the plants aren’t very big and it’s a lot to be paying when the quality isn’t the best. 3. I have had replicas of pots.. the fact the pots were cute and all different is the reason why I kept paying the amount. It’s not as exciting if you have two of the same. Why let a customer continue with the subscription if there’s going to be repeats? 4. The cacti do not turn up with alot of soil or grow very well, my latest one was missing leaves and branches so is quite bare. I don’t know if it will recover? It was better at the start, I think now more people are using it the worse the quality and organisation of it is. I will probably be cancelling soon as I haven’t had any incentives/discounts or loyally rewards for keep this up for over the past year.

Hello Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed review and for your honest feedback. I'm very sorry to hear that you have had issues with the subscription. I can see that sadly there was an issue with your May box not being delivered, with our team promptly sending out a replacement for you. On occasion, although very rarely, boxes can go missing while in transit. We'd always advise our customers to get in touch if this is the case so we can send a new one out. However, rest assured we are always working on improving the delivery service so we can try and ensure these issues don't happen. We did include a replica of the very first pot we did for the subscription in our May edition. However, I can assure you this was purely a one-off due to the June pot being delayed and we have no plans to do any more duplicate pots in the future. All of our items will always be brand new. Nevertheless, I apologise for any disappointment caused by this. An email was sent out to all our subscribers informing them of this, but it sounds like this may not have come through. With regards to the cacti themselves, I'm very sorry to hear that your cacti haven't been growing very well so far. This could be due to a variety of reasons from how often they are fed to the environment they are in/how much sun they get. A member of our team is going to be in touch as soon as possible via email as it sounds like your cactus from this month hasn't arrived in the best condition, and our aim is to ensure each cactus sent out always arrives in the best possible condition, as well as the other items included in the box. We do currently have a built-in rewards scheme for our subscribers so you can earn points and then use them against your subscription. Honestly, I love Barry's cactus club. I love getting my new prickly baby in the post each month! Lovely selection of cactus I have received, the pots they come in are beautiful too! So far, not a single complaint. When I did have a problem, as i think my order got lost in the post, the customer service were brilliant and sorted it super fast and super politely. I love collecting my little cards too!

I adore this subscription and have been a member for 10 months now (as of the date writing this). Not only do you get a new plant friend each month, but it comes in a lovely pot with extra surprises. The collector card that accompanies them provides great information on how to care for them as well as interesting facts about their origin. They are super well packaged too, so no harm comes to these little ones in transit. Could not be happier. Thank you!
