“The hamper arrived 2 days ahead of the time I picked, lucky I choose to have it delivered to my house rather than the offices. If it had arrived 2 days early at the offices, the people it was intended for would not have been there. There was a facility on the order page to request the delivery destination and date...why have this if you don't stick to it. The presentation of the hamper was nice, but an awful big box, a lot of shredded paper. The items were lost in the big box really, looked like I hadn't got much for them due to the large gift box and items swamped/lost in the shredded paper. Maybe a variety of box sizes would be more appropriate, I actually considered moving the items to a smaller basket but I didn't have one at hand. Also, the glue came away from the side of the box when it was first opened, meaning I had to glue it again and mend it before I brought it in to the recipients. The produce seemed of good quality and nice options for an office of different people. Hopefully something for everyone involved. I didn't open or taste any of the produce so can't comment on that. I remember it hard to get a tea and coffee option in the hamper when was scrolling in the not too crazy price ranges, my hamper was for a small office of people who helped me so an option of tea and coffee would have been ideal. The items on the website actually looked bigger than what arrived, lots of the items were actually really small, something I didn't think about.”

Hi Brita, thank you for your feedback. We were disappointed to read this review after we explained the correct gift and box were indeed received, as per you order. You had ordered a gift from our "Thank You" section instead of a "Thinking of You" gift and not advised us in advance of the sensitive nature of the gift. The inappropriate box you refer to was the one pictured, it simply had an internal product code printed inside it. Unfortunately in this case the code was deemed "inappropriate". This code has not caused any upset with the other thousands being sent out, it was just a very unfortunate set of circumstances in this case. We have taken the feedback on board however, and would like to re-iterate that Customers are welcome to get in touch with us before placing an order so as we can advise of any changes we would recommend making. Thank you.

“Excellent customer service, delivered fresh and on time with a great selection in the hamper, all with good use-by dates! We particularly enjoyed the Irish cheeses, the great baked ham and the Conemara air-dried beef and lamb. 10/10!”

“The Christmas Conviviality Duo Gift SKU: Z2CHRISTCONVIVWP1 was a Happy New Year (2023) hamper for my sister in law & family (from Irish family Down Under) it didn't disappoint she was thrilled she said it was a huge hamper that just kept on giving wine, biscuits, treats & salmon +++ It's hard to find a company that guarantees value for money & quality food you guys did it. “I ordered a gift basket for family for a funeral and they couldn’t deliver it for some reason. I contacted customer service and even gave them the neighbor’s information as back up. A week later never heard anything and followed up. They gave me a lame excuse about that it was over the holiday but I placed the order to be delivered on 12/21. The shipping says it was sent to somewhere in Cork, but there are only 300 people in the town my family is in—most were at the funeral—and if anyone in the town received it, it would have found its way to them. Customer service was useless and said it was delivered (never mind to elsewhere) so they could not refund me. I’m currently fighting the charges with my credit card and feeling awful I couldn’t show my support to my family abroad during their grieving. I would not recommend ordering from them.”

Hi Liz. Very disappointed, but not surprised, to receive your review. You know perfectly well that you provided the wrong address, together with a non functioning phone number making it impossible for anyone at our end to make contact with the intended recipients. You also know that we did our best to help by communicating with the courier company as soon as you made us aware of your mistake on Friday 23rd on Friday. And that there was very little possibility of the change being able to be made, given that it was the day before Christmas Eve. You also know that the gift was delivered to a property close to the address you meant to send it to, and was retrievable. However this wasn't good enough, as your family who were visiting for the funeral, had left the country. You would rather instigate a credit card charge back, act in an incredibly rude and unprofessional way to the staff members who tried to assist you, and write a false account of your experience. Congratulations, and good luck to you in the future.
