“I've always found Bax highly competitive on price. I was delighted with the reverb pedal I ordered; TC Electronics Skysurfer. The reverb is lush, vibrant and convincing, especially on the hall setting. I played it through a Fender Bassbreaker and it added a depth and feel to the sound that gives another dimension to your playing. If you want to go the sublime to the ridiculous, then try the plate setting. For those that like the overdriven sound it still cuts the mustard. For a pedal that's sub fifty pounds I was very impressed. Just one observation though Bax.........Please can you put the item in a box that's better suited to it's size, and add some bubble wrap. The item arrived in a rather large box, with no bubble wrap. The box had opened in transit and the contents were rattling around loose. I was concerned that I was going to end up with a defective product before I had started. Mercifully it worked as it should do; a testimony to the robustness of the pedal.”

“OK, the delivery was on time, no complaint. The outer packaging was secure but the box containing the guitar was not sealed. This normally does not happen with Bax. The guitar was intact and not damaged. So I knocked a star off!”

“I now have 4 of these stands. The lightest, most compact and versatile mic stands I have ever had. I host open mic nights, and when I play in Care Homes, I prefer light equipment, hence the Samson MK10. Excellent. I do have Larger, Heavy Duty stands, for stagework, etc. I'm an old man now. The lighter, and more versatile, the better...”

“I have bought from BAX a few times now and each time has been fantastic from the initial web site visit to parcel through the door. The Fender Paramount range of guitars prove that you don't have to pay large sums of money to get a really decent guitar. The price difference verses the quality for my budget is a no brainer. And as it was in the sale, I could not pass it up and I am more than happy.”

“Great guitar great sound,put lighter strings on but still sounds deep and melow lightly polished the top of the bone saddle with super fine emery as the strings bind on the bone because of a sharp edge now tunes perfectly.”

“Needed a hardshell jumbo guitar case for a recently bought J-200 EPIPHONE. The original Epi' cases out of stock Nationally. What to do? checked out BAX mus' and found a suitable looking Jumbo case in stock. Standard Epi' cases were around £120.....BAX version £ 75, took a punt!! Arrived within 2 or 3 days, checked it out, spot on, best 75 quid spent ever!!”

“On the 27th of February I ordered a Fender Player B stock Telecaster, having in the past purchased two other B stock guitars I was fairly confident that this transaction would have the same happy outcome. The package duly arrived on the 29th and upon opening it I can honestly say it is the worst packed guitar I have ever received. It had been wrapped in one layer of the small bubble wrap and thrown in a single Bax box with a bit of other big plastic bubble wrap which appeared to be doing nothing as the guitar was rattling about in the box. Opening the box and unwrapping the guitar I was surprised to see it was still in one piece. How ever upon inspection the following became apparent. 1: It was filthy dirty with white dried spots all over the body which took a while to clean off, it was also very dusty and dirty. 2: It had sustained a knock to the back corner of the upper body which has cracked the paint and forced bubble wrap in the cracks. 3: The guitar neck has a really bad case of fret sprout all the fret ends are sticking out of the neck and need sorting out before it is comfortably playable. 4: The bridge pick up works intermittently and will just cut out while using it. I understand that it was a B stock guitar and I can live with the odd scratch I could even sort the crack out and the fret sprout but to find that the bridge pick up is not functioning correctly is a bit much. Having emailed them on the 30th and have still not heard back, I went ahead and sorted it myself. The wiring looked like a short sighted baboon had soldered it. I re wired the pots which seems to have sorted the pick up out. I fixed the crack and refinished it and dressed the frets and cleaned and polished them. I really should not have had to have done this but I have time on my hands and I really did not fancy packing it up and shipping it back to them. All in all very disappointing customer service.”
