“Hi, I purchased this Les Paul kit because it was a good price and most of all it had a factory painted finish, I wanted to build the guitar but I know I wouldn't be able to get the finish which is even better than I expected, no marks at all. I wasn't too bothered about the parts as being so cheap I could change anything. The frets were not levelled and the fret ends were not rounded so I had to do that, I did not expect it to have been done for the price. I copper shielded the pockets as a matter of course, and I changed the plastic nut which was too high, for a Graphtech nut, an easy upgrade. I thought about changing the plastic coveres for black ones but decided that the cream ones look quite good. The pickups have no brand on them but they are not microphonic at all and they actually sound pretty good so they are staying at leasr for now. It came with small pots but they work OK. The guitar looks, sounds and plays very nicely now, which makes it exceptional for the price.”

“Terrible customer service. Sent me the wrong item (seems to be a recurring issue with them - wish I had checked the reviews before buying with them) I'm heavily pregnant with twins, and can't carry the item to a parcelforce drop off. It seems there is a £25 charge for collection from your home, which they can waive, but they decided not to in my case, and said they would not refund me until I found a way to get the item to the post office. If you work full time, good luck returning anything to them. My neighbour took pity on me and returned the item - after going to 3 parcelforce shops identified through thel= link Bax sent me, all of whom would not take the package because it was too large!!! This is all after THEY send ME the wrong item. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Can't be trusted to send the right item, then can't be trusted to fix it when they don't.”

“Guitar arrived inside a huge Bax box & would have been rattling around/should have been packed better.Nothing on outer box to say fragile or handle with care !. Good email communications & arrived on time.Outer box also damaged when received.Feel lucky all was ok.More care should have been taken.”

“Ordered the guitar: a Takamine P Series. I received an email a few days later to say that the model had been discontinued - despite being on Takamine's website - (It hadn't; I placed the order instead with my local guitar shop). Then ten business days to refund the money? And needlessly cold and unhelpful customer service.. Even if they offer you some marginal savings, it's much better to get the support and helpful service from a shop - or even other online sellers such as andertons or gear4music tbh. whom I've only had good experiences with.”

“Gator Icon Bass gig bag arrived on time, price was ok considering it was the grey version rather than the more common black covering. Very well padded but one disapointing feature of the case is that when you stand it down on the floor it will not stand on the two black rubber feet, it just flops over flat onto its face.”

“I took delivery of a Fazley FJA518SB and a Fazley FTL-DIY Natural Electric Guitar Kit on the expected date. The items had been securely packaged individually and contained together in one strong outer box, carefully delivered by Royal Mail. I have yet to build up the diy telecaster style kit but after inspection am very pleased with the finish. The finish of the Jazzmaster style guitar is excellent too. After tuning, I plugged it into my amp and was not disappointed by the sounds available. All in all both guitars offer more than might be expected from budget models and well worth 5 stars.”
