Quick delivery, delivered within 24 hrs! Icrutch has been fantastic for me after ankle surgery. I've been able to still get about as before without the hindrance of standard crutches.

After an operation on my heal I was left with stitches in my heal and unable to put any weight on my right foot. I was really struggling with crutches and found them very limiting when trying to manage around the house as I could not carry anything? My Peg leg was the perfect solution. The order arrived quickly and was very robust. I found it easy to assemble and adjust. I had to put some extra padding on the knees rest for comfort but the straps did not cause a problem and I quickly got the hang of taking it on and off. Walking on the peg leg is very easy, even climbing stairs. Coming down stairs is easier at a slightlangle so as not to knock the back foot on the step above. On the whole I am very happy with the product and the company were was very helpful.

Brilliant, feel liberated! My consultant was full of praise too. He said that it would help with maintaining the bone density in the limbs above my knee.

My iWalk 2.0 was shipped to Serbia, and arrived at the airport here just 24 hours after I ordered it, although I unfortunately had to wait for 10 days for it to get out of customs!! But no matter, I'm really pleased with it, I finally have the use of my hands back after nearly 2 months with a complex foot injury. It's 1000x better than crutches.

Recently sustained a lisfranc fracture after a netball game. I was told by the surgeon that full recovery would be a maximum of 6 months. I am a single full-time working mum of two kids, and although I was told that I needed to be resting a lot, I needed a device that would atleast help me around the house with doing minor chores. I have no one to help me out for the 3 months with the cast on and then onto the boots non-bearing weight. I was desperate to find something that will help with my mobility and affordable as well. I came across the IWALK2.0 after doing online searches (Google) and I figured that this was what I was looking for. It's been 2 weeks now since I've been using it. Mostly use it around the house while doing household chores, resting in between. I use for short walks outside. I wouldn't recommend it for long distance walking since it can get very exhausting. I usually take it off when sitting down because of the weight of the IWALK bearing down on the injured foot. I'm a pro with putting it on and taking it off now. I would definitely recommend to anyone whose needing help with mobility after sustaining an injury similar to mine. The only problem that I seem to be getting from it is, I seem to be getting a lot of backache, if worn for a longer period of time. I believe this is due to the adjustments I made to it for a custom fitting. So far it's been a great help especially when you have no one to else to help you out.

Easy to order and very prompt delivery from Peglegs. They were the official authorized dealer for the iWalk 2.0 and this gave me the assurance needed that I was buying from a reputable company. So far so good... "Look Ma no hands" (Youl'l know what I mean if you've ever used an iWalk!).

Peglegs iWalk gives me freedom to move around safely and without having to use crutches. Crutches are exhausting. I sometimes use a crutch along with the iWalk as I have a weak ankle on my good leg too which is painful at times with the extra stress of only being able to use one leg. I am able to get up and down my stairs relatively safely using the iWalk carefully and slowly.

For the record, I'm a 46 year old man, 5 foot 10. I've got a broken distal Fibula (ankle) with a plate and several screws. My cast comes to about 5 inches below the center of my knee cap. I started with the iWalk one week after surgery. I've had my iWalk 2.0 for just over a week now. I'm very pleased with it. It's given me back a range of abilities which crutches took away. Sure I can carry a cup of coffee around. But recently I've been able to mow the lawn and take the bins out. I just needed a few days to get more confident with it. It's also saving my hands, which were starting to go numb and stiff from my crutches. I really like that I'm using more of my injured leg. I've actually noticed some muscle tone returning to my upper leg. This had started to shrink in the two weeks on crutches. It's built very well and adjusts easily. The 'foot' of the device actually has a proper 'Vibram' sole and a good sized 'footprint.' Which I didn't realise when I ordered it. A couple of do's and don'ts which might help: -Do watch all three of the instructional YouTube videos. They're the fastest way to get going properly. -Do take the time to get the height and other adjustments right. These make the difference between walking and limping. -Do empty your pockets on the iWalk leg. -Do keep your crutches handy, at least for a while. There are some things you just can't do on the iWalk. One tricky situation is a very tall step with no railing, especially going down. There's on of these outside my house, and I've had a few close calls. I've just managed to fit my crutches in a backpack by splitting them in half. -Do look at some kind of transition pad between the top of your cast and your bare leg. I'm starting to develop a blister there. The website suggests a hand towel, which might work. I'm looking at a slab of memory foam for mine. The built-in pad is quite good. It just can't cope with the sudden change between cast and shin. -Don't assume this thing will cure you. You're still working off an injury and that takes time. You'll probably get a bit sore using this, if like me you just want to pretend you're fine and go walk a mile on the first day. But I consider this a trade off: a bit of shin pain in place of a lot of hand and arm fatigue from crutches. -Don't overdo it right away. Some of the straps may chafe a bit while you develop your walking style. If you let this persist you may end up with pain. Mine was on the back of my calf. It got better as I learned to extend my knee (a tiny bit) while stepping forward with my bad leg. This keeps the iWalk firmly in place. I hope this is helpful. This injury has been a real frustration because of the number of things I can't do. The iWalk has helped me get some of those things back. Now they just need to make an iClutch so I can drive!

Very good device I have four children and in a single mum. Only down side you can't sit with it as it's quite heavy and you do have to be very steady on it but I would not have coped without it.

Offered the freedom to move and to have a break from traditional crutches. Could make & carry cups of tea and potter round the garden short term Easy to assemble; took a bit of adjustment to get right and needed to fashion extra padding between cast and legrest as it didn't sit quite right and rubbed a bit and more foam between leg and the inside of the cast as the angle of the leg caused rubbing Definitely worthwhile purchase though and would recommend

Buying an IWalk2 has helped me so much after having foot surgery. Using crutches was driving me mad and I didn't feel safe in our old house with the many steps and stairs. The IWalk2 has meant I can get around safely and more confidently.

Just WOW!!!! If you have to use crutches and your injury makes it suitable for you to use the iWalk - BUY - even more so with the service backed up from Jerry. On a Thursday late evening I had a full rupture of my achilles. By 3am I was home with a set of conventional crutches and as a self-employed wedding photographer in the middle of Summer facing a potential catastrophe. By Friday morning I'd had emergency cover arranged for Saturday and through a mutual friend had been tipped off about the iWalk2.0. After having a chat with Jerry he was able to arrange a priority courier to deliver the iWalk to the wedding venue directly on Saturday. The ceremony was at 1pm. The crutch got delivered at around 12:05. By 12:20 it was full assembled, fitted & I was walking up the aisle ready photographing the Groom waiting for his bride and then managed an additional 10hrs of photographing. You need to measure your expectations against your only alternative, regular crutches. It's a WORLD away. You go from having no hands to having both hands. I only had one day with crutches at home before I was lucky enough to have found this device and I fully understand and appreciate how lucky I've been to have found it so quickly. Thank you Jerry for your service & help. Amazing!!

I bought the amazing peg leg crutch for my 78 yrs old Dad who got run over 4wks ago. He suffered a compound fracture of his left ankle and a dislocated ankle. He had a plate and screws and a skin graft to the injury and faces a long recovery time. The hospital gave him a walking frame which was useless as he cannot weight bear and was having to hop which is exhausting. When he received the peg which was delivered within 24 hrs ( fantastic) his whole face lit up. He had been feeling very low as he wasn't able to do anything , now he has got his independence back. He was able to go upstairs to bed and is helping my Mum around the house . He is so much happier and I'm his no 1 daughter as I found this amazing productime. I am a hairdresser and have been showing the video of my Dad using the crutch to all my clients ,they all think it's a genius bit of equipment. I shall be spreading the word thank you so so much .

The prospect of 10 weeks on crutches left me a bit cold so I looked for other options and came across the iwalk2 and after asking a couple of questions, very quickly answered by Jerry (thank you) and reviewing the videos I decided it was the ideal thing for me. I've now had it for a week and have to say it is so much better than crutches. I was getting myself a cup of tea within 10 minutes of putting it together and was up and down the stairs after that to get some laundry done...all those things that become remarkably difficult on crutches. You may well need to augment the padding a bit of you are going to be on it all day and I then had to adjust when I had a full cast to replace the back slab and found the edge of the cast was digging into my shin. I used an old back protector from a motorcycle jacket which has proved to be ideal so far. I think I will also need to upgrade the knee strap as that does rub maybe some sort of sheepskin cover might help that I have time to experiment!
