Product arrived quickly, in perfect condition, but my friend wasn't able to use it properly. I was able to pack it up and return it for a refund, quickly, with excellent customer service. If I break my ankle in the future, I would definitely use their services again.

Because I have undergone surgery for fusion of my ankle. I may not put weight on my left leg for six weeks I have three to go. Neither crutches nor a Zimmer work for me. I expected to be housebound and get round on my hands and knees. Searching the internet I found a variety of wheeled devices which doubtless perform much the same function as the Peg leg. But they could not get me out outside. The peg leg would do that - I could cross the frame at the bottom of the door and step down to the front drive. I bought it Delivery arrangements were poor I found assembling the crutch easy. Demonstrably a great deal of skill went into the design. Classic British skills then? Actually not - Good Old USA. Well done. In just short of a week I am confidently walking around the house and using the stairs up and down. Yes it has got me in and out of the house - and I have been able to transit car parks and crowded restaurants - it's quite good for getting good tables too! There is a down side. My house is on sloping land and I do not yet have the confidence to walk out and up the road. Meantime here are some thoughts in case they help: From assembling the iwalk it is clear that considerable engineering skills have been exploited to bring it to where it is today. Even so there are two particular modifications I would encourage: Assembly There are attached to the central leg two tubular outriggers. They are secured at their base to the frame by a plastic headed bolt and screw. No problem here. The Central leg comprises two movable tubes which are adjustable for size. They are locked by two spring loaded ball bearings. The springs were too strong for me to depress. I had to resort to an adjustable wrench. Not everybody with my difficulties keeps such a tool close by! I recommend replacement of the ball bearings by a plastic headed bolt and screw similar to that described above. Adjustment The iwalk needs to be attached as tightly as possible. For this there are two adjusting buckles with tabs on each of the three straps. The idea is that once the tab on the black buckle is set it needs no further attention and can be buried in the protective cover. That leaves the tab on the grey buckle to be adjusted for daily use. Unfortunately it does not work like that. Because the tab on the grey buckle is too short it is necessary to set the tab on the black buckle every time the iwalk is fitted. Perhaps this problem can be resolved by extending the tab on the grey buckle.

I brought this item ready for next year. The operation is a fusion to the ankle so I tried this the other day and it worked wonders. I will be non weight bearing for 4 months. 🤞

Prompt delivery, excellent service and an excellent product - walking within minutes. I have half my life back, simple things like carrying a cup of tea across the room and managing my household chores is great but I have now ventured out across fields and dealing with the horses. I just wish I could drive my car with it!! The only problem I've had is I'm wearing it a lot outside and it caused a big blister where the cast has rubbed against my shin, Jerry advised me to put a pad under my knee which has helped. Maybe I'm using it more than I should but it's great to be able to get outside.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Item arrived promptly. For the right person, this devise is brilliant. Gives you back your independance. Unfortunately for me, I have slight weakness down my 'R' side, so the devise wasn't suitable. I contacted Peglegs to explain and arranged to return the item. A full refund was actioned within 2 days. BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT devise for the right person. Would highly recommend you try it.

Excellent service from Jerry and the team. I asked for my iwalk to be delivered on a certain day and this was accommodated without a hitch! As for the product itself I haven't unpacked it as I'm moving house - but looking forward to using it after my op.

Great product, great customer service, next day delivery. Couldn't be happier.. only thing you could improve on is spreading the word so more people, including Physios and surgeons, knew about this life-changing gadget! Awesome!!

Personal response on the phone and delivery - all personalised, prompt and efficient. The appliance does what it says on the tin, and has increased my mobility both inside and outside the house - no regrets whatsoever. I have managed to attend 2 championship football matches so far (with my wife's support asa driver!)

4 weeks today I had an ankle fusion, first week I used crutches. Got around house on my backside , then I started to use my peg leg ,3 weeks on and it goes where I go , I’m back at the gym confident my ankle will never touch the floor , I go up. Down stairs , if put it on in seconds as soon as I wake up . A fantastic invention that as I wear it I realise it has been tweaked as required One improvement would be a wider top strap. That’s where stability comes from , I pull it really tight as it’s quite thin, s wide band would be more stable , but a fantastic find

I recently had my left leg amputated below the knee ans as the N.H.s. Had done absolutely nothing in providing me with a prosthetic leg, I decided to buy the !WALK, Works a treat. Recommended to all. I can now for the first time in 20 months walk to a toilet, get in and out of a car and dump my wheelchair. Recommended to anybody who need a leg!!

I recently fractured my ankle in two places and struggled for two weeks with the crutches supplied by the hospital, they caused great discomfort in my right shoulder. As I'm non weight bearing for 6-8 weeks I was desperate to find an alternative. It was whilst searching for a knee scooter that I came across the i-walk 2.0. I watched the videos online and thought it would be better than the knee scooter. It was promptly delivered to my door and I set about getting mobile again. It is simply brilliant. Easy to assemble and fine tune, within 5 minutes I was walking around the house doing normal things again, it makes such a difference having your hands free! I ventured to the supermarket on day 3 and found the only draw back was that my weight was pressing on the top of my shin bone where my cast ends. This made it really painful after about 5 minutes. Not to be beaten by it I cut down a knee pad that I normally use for work and placed it on top of the i-walk knee pad. Problem solved as my full weight is now taken by my knee and no weight is on my shin bone. I can now walk around pain free for long periods. I am due to go on a cruise holiday this week and feel really confident that the i-walk is the perfect item to make the holiday possible, the crutches are unstable and a wheelchair would be cumbersome. I would certainly recommend the i-walk to anyone with a lower limb injury, it's comfortable and stable to use, even though I have had to slightly adapt it for my personal situation.

Excellent knee crutch allowing quicker return to hands free mobility following foot surgery. Had to be a bit careful until wounds healed as the flexed knee and the straps increases venous vascular pressure. Bought a soft synthetic sheep skin piece to put under my knee which worked well to prevent pressure soreness / friction and made the device much more comfortable.

An excellent device that keeps me sane following surgery for ankle fracture. Freedom from crutches means life can go on. Has to come off for sitting or s*itting though!
