“Purchased the advent calendar and all of the bottles have fallen to the bottom of the case, due to the cardboard collapse inside the box. So When you open the daily door number.....no beer. I had to cut the back open to get access to the beers. Not very happy Beer Hawk and no reply to tweet/emails.”

“I have recently placed two beer orders. Reading the very large number of negative reviews I was very concerned that I would encounter problems in getting my beers delivered. In fact I did experience problems in speaking to them. I am therefore pleased to report that both orders have arrived in good order, so credit where credit is due. I just hope for their sake they smarten up their business act - there are competitors out there!”

“I have purchased items from this company twice and on both occasio there have been communication issues. After the purchase you get several emails confirming payment etc but where they let themselves and customers down is with a total lack of information in the delivery of their products. On both occasions I have had to chase the delivery and to say that their customer service team are vague is an understatement although that may not be their fault. However once received I cannot fault the quality of their products for the selling price”

“Do not uses these people, my delivery is still not turned up. if you do get through to customer services they will tell you that they will call back then don't bother. Via email is even worse as they just send generic emails back try to cover up the terrible service.”

“Children ordered beer advent calendar for their dad arrived promptly but as stated in other reviews the inner carton is out of line with the outer carton making it difficult to get the bottles out , and the cans have fallen out of the holder as they are shorter than the bottles. I was also expecting larger bottles of beer for the cost of the calendar making this an expensive gift. Nice idea but not worked in practice! !!”

“Do not use beer hawk. Do not live up to what they say. Still waiting for my order!!! after 8 days. Received a email today form the MD/CEO saying how sorry he is. Within the mail he stated that if you were not happy to send a note. I'm still waiting. Shocking service. Shocking company.”

“Ordered an advent calendar in September thinking it would be a nice idea to try beer different from that that we would normally drink. Well, the delivery was a complete joke because the notification that came was wildly inaccurate for a start, the email answers were vague, and as for the ineffective man that I spoke to on the telephone, it would seem that whilst things go well 5 stars are awarded, but for these times that things don't go right the procedure is the tortoise method, tuck your head into your shell and don't give the customer any answer. It eventually arrived on the shoulder of the delivery man, who I can only surmise, was unaware of the right way up or fragility of the box. I can only hope that CAMRA members are aware of the inadequacies of Beer Hawk.”

“Ordered 2 advent calendars on 5th Sept. Consigment on 2nd Nov - lost apparently. Emailed on 7th Nov - told I would be put to top of list. Emailed 20th Nov - told by end of week. Phoned 26th Nov - told I would be called back on 28th. No call, so phoned but could only get order line who couldn't help. Received email on 29th Nov saying all deliveries by 1st Dec. Received a new consignment number after calling on 30th Nov and delivery happened on 1st Dec.....but only ONE advent calendar....other one had been damaged apparently and there were no more left to send out. Appalling service beyond belief....I've experienced poor service in the past but this has been the worst by a long way.”

“Ordered an advent calendar in plenty of time for delivery on 30th November, had an email to say it's on its way, never turned up. Chasing courier, but no reply from them, no phone number to contact. This was a gift for someone special and I've been left disappointed. I won't be using this company again.”

“Ordered Advent Calendars well in time for delivery before 01/12/16. Never turned up, constantly chasing and being told they would arrive, never arrived again. Then to get an email today to say the courier has lost my packages (obviously a lie!) and they haven't got any more to send out. Nobody ever answers the phone, poor customer service. I would never use this company again, looks like lots of people have had issue's as well. DO NOT USE!!”

“Appalling service. They never get back to you,despite leaving messages and emails. Want to return empty legs on 2 occasions drivers refuse to pick them up. Was assured no boxes needed. On second occasion driver has refused. Waste of a day waiting for the pick up and Beer Hawk are not interested. Do NOT trust them.”

“Liars - these people took my money (24 November 2016) and sent an email telling me to expect delivery on and or before 28 November 2016. Nothing arrived. Was told it was with the courier and that it would arrive 29 November 2016. Nothing arrived. Was told it was with the courier and it would arrive 30 November 2016. Nothing arrived. When asked to track the consignment their system was very conveniently down. LIARS!”

“The ordering and delivery process were fine, no problems, simple and speedy. The first beer was excellent! The only reservation I have is that the beers are so small, it seems mean and poor value for money. A shame to source what promises to be an excellent selection and then supply them in their smallest amount.”
