Just nowhere near the level of service promised. Took 2x1/2 days off work to get half an order. I am sorry but UK Mail is your provider and down to you to manage-not me,the customer. ????

Box crumpled and damaged. Beers all fallen to bottom of box. Expected a sturdier product for £75. However, none broken. Just a shame that the advent calendar is now just a damaged pile of cardboard.

It was weeks after I placed the order that the beers were delivered. I arranged delivery for a day I could work from home. Only 1 of the two boxes of 15 beers was delivered that day. I had to call twice in order to get a further one delivered, which Megan confirmed would be on Friday as I could work from home that day. I called again after receiving an email saying it would arrive on Thursday and was told that would be changed to Friday. However delivery was attempted on Thursday and they were left with a neighbour. So there was no need for me to have arranged to work from home on Friday. Then on the following Monday a further package arrived with 11 beers. I telephoned and was told that I would have to make myself available at home for a further day for that to be collected. So I am having to arrange yet another work from home day for that. Ridiculous!

Although previously I been happy with the Service at Beerhawk, at the time of writing this review I have paid for the beer, been promised delivery twice, been told it has been delivered twice, found that the beer has been sent to an address in Reading (over 200 miles from where I live), been promised numerous phone calls to keep me upto date with the situation but yet again I will be ringing the company myself to find out when I can expect my beer

I've been swamped with unwanted emails ever since ordering and even more after unsubscribing. Will never use Hawk again

Voucher didn't work when ordering online so had to call a number of times. Not a huge problem and they were very friendly and helpful. However, its been over 4 weeks since I ordered and the case still hasn't arrived. I have had to chase a number of times. They were helpful at first and arranged a re-delivery as the original case was apparently damaged in transit, but now I'm being completely ignored and still nothing has arrived.

Hi Will I've just found out from our courier company that the box of beers we've sent out to you has been damaged in transit. This doesn't happen very often, but to make sure that a soggy box is not left on the doorstep, we instruct our couriers to return the damaged box to us, and we send out a replacement straight away. We’re getting the replacement beers today, and you’ll receive a new tracking number from our courier later this evening. Please accept our apologies for the delay to this order, but we hope your fresh box of beers will be worth the wait. I ordered & paid for a beer from the list on the site only to be told the next day that this beer was out of stock and wasn't going to be coming in again any time soon ! Very poor service I cannot believe that a firm that size cannot accommodate a customers order won't be using them again thank you !

Hi Nigel, I'm really sorry we were out of stock on the goods you bought, we work alongside a lot of small brewery's and on occasion, stock is limited to what we can get hold off and delivery times. On this occasion we couldn't fulfil your order due to the delivery time on the stock arriving. Cheers Louise

Hi Stewart, Sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the delivery service. When I spoke to your colleague on the two occasions I explained that the delay was due to the Good Beer Guide not being received by us from the suppliers. I did offer an alternative or refund due to the delay, again sorry for your delivery expectations not been met in the time scale. Regards Louise

I discussed with some one live online that i needed my delivery to arrive on the specific date to be told that would be no problem. They did not delivery on that day. I complained about this. I received a 10 pound voucher - which is ludicrous as delivery would be more then that which means you would be gaining money not me. I said this to the person who sent me the voucher who then just ignored my email. Not a happy customer as it was very important for it to get there in time.

Shipping was terrible. First package that got shipped was broken no contact made with me about this i had to call to find this out, then an acclaimed delivery was "tried" but was deemed unsuccessful and a picture was sent of some random persons house claiming it to be mine. i will not be recommending this to my beer society.

On the site when ordering could not find anywhere indicating how many days for delivery. I took a chance and ordered dome special beers for my Dad for his 80th birthday hoping that in this day and age ordering on a wednesday they would arrive in a couple of days I emailed Beerhawk explaining the importance of the order and if they could please rush the order through. Received zero response and beers arrived nearly 6 days later far to late for my Dads big day. most companies with the plethora of courier companies avaliable can normally ship out for 2 to 3 days delivery, but alas not Beerhawk. the thing that peed me off the most was zero communication from Beerhawk. As the saying goes....'If you don't look after your customers someone else will only be too pleased too....'

Darren, sorry you couldn't find the delivery times on our site. There's a frequently asked questions area of the site where we set out the delivery schedule by postcode and for your area it's up to 5 working days-usually we are much quicker than that though, although for your order it did take the full advised time. We can't find a record of any email you sent though and when we are emailed or phoned asking to rush through an order we do our best to oblige.

I ordered these beers as a birthday present and was told I would be informed the day before they would arrive As yet I still haven't received that email yet so I'm still not sure if they have been delivered As the birthday was last fri 18th. I'm not happy if they haven't been delivered Will not use this company again

Hi Christine. I'm sorry to hear that you did not receive the delivery confirmation E-mail, but let me reassure you that following your order on the 13th July, the beers were dispatched on the 14th July and successfully delivered to (and signed for) by the recipient on the 15th July. We will now look into why you did not receive the delivery E-mail, but our systems are showing that it was sent successfully. Assuming that everything else is OK, and the gift of beer has been well received, may we ask that you reconsider this negative review? We take all of our customer feedback very seriously, and hope that you will choose to order from us again in the future.

I asked for an American beer selection and got a Belgium beer. Plus there was only one or two on the website that actually arrived. For the price of the beer I think an e-mail explaining that certain beers are out of stock wouldn't go a miss. I have e-mailed about sending the box back and have yet to hear back from anyone. I am inclined to send all three of orders back and never buy from Beer Hawk again.

Beer Hawk themselves are great and provide a fantastic product for a good price. I don't have a positive word to write about the courier company they use however. I received an email stating when my order would arrive. When it didn't arrive on the specified day and I received no card to say they had tried to deliver I called the couriers. I was met with an attitude on the telephone from the female at the other end that at first I thought was a joke. I was spoken to with utter contempt. It resulted in my performing a perimeter search around my property only to find my box of beer dumped by the wall of my house where it had been for two days in the rain. No card had been posted to notify me of this fact. I didn't know it was there as no card was posted. Very disappointing. I love the Beer Hawk products but the couriers would put me off ordering again.

Having been very satisfied with Beerhawk in the past I was very disappointed with the latest delivery. A sodden box was delivered, upon closer inspection it was clear that a bottle had been broken and the broken bottle had been removed. The box had been re taped and no effort made to provide a replacement.

Thanks for pointing this out to us - we were unaware of this issue, as this is in clear breach of our delivery policy. Despite our best efforts on packaging, we do unfortunately get a few breakages from time to time. Under 0.5% of our deliveries are affected, but if one is, our strict policy is for the box to be returned to our warehouse, and we dispatch a fresh case of beers in its place. It seems that, for whatever reason, this policy wasn't followed by the driver. We've now sorted this, and I'm pleased that you've got your beers along with a credit at our store to put this right.
