“Absolutely dreadful service this time. I have ordered before from Beerhawk and had no issues at all. This time the delivery was late then lost then short. Getting in touch with Beerhawk either by phone or email was nearly impossible. And when I eventually did no one knew what was going on. Totally in denial of any problem initially but eventually apologetic and Issued a refund. Not sure why the downturn in service maybe they have grown to fast and are unable to keep up with demand. Will think very hard before ordering with them again.”

“I ordered the case of beer as a special gift for a friend. Delivery was promised within 3 to 5 working days. I was then told it would take a further 3 working days due to Black Friday. This message was then accompanied by no less than 10 consecutive 'No-reply' type e-mails which were a complete waste of time. In reality the beer took 14 days to arrive which resulted in me having to buy another gift. Several of the larger bottle selection had also been substituted for smaller bottles. Perhaps it would be better to purchase direct from the beer suppliers?”

“The beer advent calendar is a huge hit with my husband. Even though he has tried many many different beers over the years, it is great that 12 out of 14 so far are new to him. A winner! Thank you.”

“Fantastic idea of beer advent calendar. Great Xmas style box however I guess it was due to the delivery but so far only 2 out of the 14 windows to be opened have beer behind them as they have all fallen down and we can't get to them without destroying the box.”

“Having read the reviews before my first order I was a bit worried to say the least but I am so glad that I took the chance and ordered a Phillips perfect draft, delivery was spot on and excellently packaged and since then have tried and fully enjoyed many of the different beers that are available. If there's a down side it's that I drink bitter/ale but it's no problem as each beer is as just as you would get it from your local. Thanks Beer Hawk keep up the good work”

“I've had an absolutely awful experience with this company, and found they run a call centre to take your calls that can give you very little information about the status of your order, and promise callbacks that never happen. I ordered my beer on the 25th November, it is now the 14th December and I have nothing - I was last promised it would be delivered yesterday - guess what...nothing. I am now waiting until the end of the week until placing yet another call with them - I am likely to just request a credit card chargeback by then, as I have had it with this company. My advice - use a better company!”

“Customer service continues to degenerate - it is now at the point of utter farce. Order placed on 25th November for a Xmas present - I have now made contact by phone 12 times - each time being given a different story and various solutions. Finally Stuart noted a problem in the system on Monday 12th December and the fact that the order had been lost in the system - despite overtime being 1. Listed at a composite address I never entered - 2. Listed at the wrong address 3. Listed as being delivered. I was promised Stuart would personally ensure it would be posted on Tuesday 13th December - having checked on the system - it is still listed as being in the Warehouse - I have now rung Customer Services 20 times this afternoon to check - 15 times it simply rung out or aborted after 1 ring and 5 times it is eventually answered by an external 'order line' - who have no access to or knowledge of the system. Beerhawk has a good product - but is rapidly drowning”

“I was sent one of the great british beers cases by a friend as a gift. I was very impressed with the beer selection in the box as it was varied. I'm usually a drinker of Bitters and darker beers, but the IPA's and lighter beers were all very enjoyable too. All in all I thought it was a varied selection, in flavour and strengths, which was a nice gift. All the beers were high quality in content and packaging. It actually spurred me on to buy a box and send it to my father. Would recommend.”

“I was very disappointed with the service. Having ordered a few boxes for a planned party I was looking forward to trying some new beer. 2 weeks after ordering I called to be told my order is in stock and the agent was going to get someone to call me back. No call. I again called back expecting my order to be delivered quickly given it was over 2 weeks late. Again I was told my order was still in the warehouse and it would be delivered in a few days time. It did finally arrive however not within a few days. Very disappointing service with no mention of compensation. Needless to say I had to buy beer from a local store for my party.”

“Purchased the advent calendar for my partner - fabulous looking present and he really enjoyed the contents. Would have no hesitation in highly recommending this for next year. Hopefully this is planned for next year. Subsequent to that purchase I have bought a further case of mixed beers for a Christmas present for him.”
