I ordered the advent calendar for my boyfriend and he was made up with it even though he is a total 'bah-humbug'!! It arrived on the day i specified when i placed the order and i actually don't think there is a thing i can say wrong with it :) There was only one of the beers that was not enjoyed - the japaneese one i think - but other than that a win win present!!

I was very happy with part of my delivery but unfortunately it arrived with an item missing. Have been in contact 2 weeks ago but still not been received. Beers all great quality and well packaged. Just a shame not complete

Delivery came within the stated time, extremely well packaged. Only problem was that the email stating it had been delivered said that it had been signed for by me. When in fact I didn't sign anything to say I had received the delivery. My husband loved the beers, and I ordered him quite a selection. Will be using the web site again for his birthday.

I ordered a group of the beer bullets which I thought would be perfect as Christmas gifts (including my secret Santa) over the black Friday weekend. The order took over 3 weeks to get here which meant I had to buy another secret Santa gift and I was told in two occasions my order would be shipped and it wasnt. The order also wasn't correct. The beer in the bullets didn't match what I had ordered and there were two items missing. When I tried to arrange for a refund I was told the order would be collected the next day and I have yet to have someone come and pick it up. Very disappointing and annoying.

Easy ordering and I received great help when I forgot to put delivery instructions in one of my parcels! All delivered on time for Christmas. Beers now being thoroughly enjoyed by recipients! Beer Hawk was recommended to my by one of my sons and I would definitely recommend Beer Hawk to others.

Short version: Dreadful logistics and terrible customer service let down a good product. Long version: On the 15th December, I ordered 2 mixed crates of beer, one Belgian and one German for guests over Christmas. I ordered in plenty of time before the end of guaranteed deliveries. On the 19th only 1, the Belgian crate was delivered. I rang immediately, was told that customer services were too busy to speak to me, and would ring me back with 24 hours. No-one rang back. The next day I rang again. I was told that no-one from customer services was available again and I would be called back. No-one called me back. I tweeted @thebeerhawk on the 20th, was promised they would try to help, but didn't. On the 21st I rang again, and finally spoke to customer services, who explained (after ringing off to talk to UKMail) that the courier had dropped the 2nd crate, it was leaking, but that no-one had bothered to tell the sender. The lady in customer services told me that she would arrange expedited redelivery, for the 23rd. On the 23rd, not having had a delivery notification, I rang up again, asking if my delivery was still happening. I was told that the delivery was with UKmail, and would be either the 23rd or, worst case, on the 24th. I rang back on the 24th, spoke to the order line, was told that customer services must be busy and someone would call me back. No-one did, so I rang back yet again, only to be told a) customer services were on leave until after Christmas and b) my order wouldn't be delivered until the 28th. I explained that this was a bit late for Christmas dinner, and that I wanted to cancel the order. I was promised a call back, because the order line can't do cancellations, and, needless to say, it didn't happen. This morning, whilst I was asleep, UKMail left the outstanding parcels behind my bin, about 1 metre from a busy street, and no doubt in breach of whatever licensing conditions Beerhawk operates under. Rang yet again, and finally cancelled. Beerhawk's unwanted delivery can stay in their "secure location" until UKmail come back for it. No-one ever called me back, and no-one has offered me anything at all by way of apology for this terrible, frustrating farce. No German beer with Christmas dinner, and too late to order with another supplier. It looks a lot to me like Beerhawk have increased their marketing and product range, without sorting out customer services or a decent delivery partner. No-one in their customer services took ownership of my problem, and it looks like they rely on the customer complaining to draw any issues to their attention. If you order from them, particularly at a non-busy time of year, you might get lucky, and not have a problem - but, as of the minute, I'd seriously recommend you go elsewhere.

Easy to order from the website. Was notified of delivery by email however only part of order was delivered. When I rang to ask about rest of order there was no helpful information. There were also confusing emails sent from the delivery service saying my order had been left in safe place when in fact I had taken delivery of them. I will say that order was well packaged and no breakages. As to the product, it was a present so can't comment on that. Ecipientnseemed more than happy with his beer.

Brought 3 gifts for Christmas. One gift set with IPA for a secret Santa in work and 2 beer bullets for male friends. They all loved them. service excellent and good value for money.

The order was easy and quick to do- the beer is always packed well and the addition of a glass in the pack i ordered was a nice touch. The downside to ordering this time was that I waited nearly 2 weeks for delivery when the website stated 5 days. I know its difficult to promise this over Christmas when ordered will be more but I ended up emailing to see when it would arrive. However communication was very clear and quick in email and the order arrived when I was promised from this. Thankyou x

My order went in on 17th November and eventually arrived 22nd December after around 15 phone calls at various times in between. Often I was unable to get through to customer services and was redirected to the order line. they tell you will get rung back. I never was (about 7 times!). My order was reordered 3 times before it eventually arrived! It was the 15 finalists from the CAMRA Bottled beer awards. Two of the top three were not included and I was given replacements. During my attempts to locate my purchases I I read reviews on the internet. Many customers had complaints. Perhaps I should have complained more as I was mot offered any compensation - or and extra bottle to say sorry! I will not be using Beerhawk again. I felt really let down and at one point was worried that they didn't even exist and it was all a scam. Rob Walker
