I am so disappointed in this company after apologising for my order (which was a gift) being delayed they confirmed it would be ready for delivery in 24 hours, six days later it was dispatched they don't respond to my emails. It's despicable. I wanted to support local business but when their customer service is so poor I certainly shan't be ordering from them again and urge other people not to order.

What started off well with me requesting that the dispatch be delayed due to me being out of country then went downhill. 1st delivery was incomplete, 2nd delivery for missing items was incomplete. No picking slips with orders so no way of knowing what should have been delivered other than checking my order. I have received credit for the missing items but it does not bode well for my first time of using the company. I was made aware of a warehouse move during the order process however this really shouldn't impact the customer.

A special german beer, jever beer, has always been my favourite. My son discovered he could order it from you and sent me a box for my birthday some months ago - a real surprise! so i decided a few weeks ago to order myself some more. the order was dispatched in two boxes. the first arrived reasonably promptly after four days, but the driver told me the other box got wet and he could not deliver it as there may have been damage. after calling beerhawk, the second box was delivered (about 10 days after placing the order), neatly taped up. one bottle had indeed been broken, but was kindly replaced by seven (!) miscellaneous bottles. so, in spite of the problems with that second box, i feel i was treated very well and kindly. :) thank you beerhawk - i will gladly order more from you and recommend you to others! cheers! douwe korff

3 working days for delivery, yeah that didnt happen, more like 8. Got a few generic emails to say they were changing warehouses and this was causing delays, which happens, but even then it was still a shambles trying to get any sort of information from them on when to expect delivery. Logged a few calls to their online responsive helpdesk, again externally managed, 3 days for a very unhelpful reply. Other times no reply at all. They did to be fair they did email a code to all those affected with delivery delays for the cost of standard delivery, sadly even that was mucked up, turned out it wasnt for the stated delivery fee but was actually for half the value. In that email they advised my order would be dispatched within 24 hours, 3 working days later it still wasnt. Numerous calls to their advertised number, which turned out to be a managed call center who had no clue other than being able to check basic order details, all advised they would get the 'head office' to call me back. No calls back. Reason i called was to advise that i would not be at the delivery address the following week and it would need to be redirected. Eventually received a call back near close of business to advise id be getting the delivery the next day to the original delivery address, 2 days after i advised them i wouldnt be there. The really helpful guy on the phone said he would speak to the company delivering and get them to reroute it and call me back the following morning. No call received and then got an email from the delivery company to say it would be delivered to the original delivery address that day. Luckily their delivery system lets you postpone delivery to another day, which i managed to do, so eventually got it 10 days after ordering. Well packaged and beer was all there and accounted for, but wont be using their service again. Yes deliveries/warehouse issues happen but very poor customer service and communication.

A case of beer I ordered for my father took double the advertised delivery time, so my opinion is very poor. The reason given was warehouse relocation after I queried where was the beer? I should have been informed what was happening when Beer Hawk knew of the problem.

I am over the moon with my order and service from Beer Hawk. I ordered yesterday and i have my box of beer in front of me a day later! I was able to track the order and BH kept me up to date through emails/texts. Cant wait to give this to my boyfriend!!

I ordered a case of beers for my boyfriends birthday 13th October and it's now the 25th and they are still not delivered. I have tried calling their customer service but their number is just for ordering and not speaking to someone regarding an order. Apparently they call you back although I am still waiting for a call and 2 emails to customer service have been ignored (from 3 days ago) It seems there is no correct administration here where the communicate with each other or customers. I do NOT recommend this company.

First of all I would like to say the quality of beer and the variation that is offered was excellent my main issue was with Beer Hawks customer service. The delivery date was missed by over a week which caused the case of beer not to be available for the event I required it for. I had to chase up Beer Hawk to get a status about when they intended to deliver the goods. Their response was generic and disappointing. I will not be shopping with Beer Hawk again and I will be advising my friends and colleagues to take their business else where.

I ordered a perfect draft machine with 2 x beer kegs. Machine arrived without the kegs. Phoned to ask why and was told that there were difficulties with the beer keg supply and no date for delivery could be confirmed. Result machine with no beer. Opted to send the machine back and then got bounced between the different published telephone numbers trying to organise this. It was not even possible for the customer service department to explain to me if a returns label for the carrier would be needed. Eventually machine was collected and a credit given but i was left feeling that this was a very poor customer experience all round. Be aware.

As with other reviews below, I did encounter an issue with my Perfect Draft machine and keg order, with the keg being delayed. However, I have to say I encountered no problems whatsoever with communicating either via email or telephone to the people at Beer Hawk, they were first class throughout, gave good honest answers to my queries and eventually helped with resolving the situation satisfactory. I have already made a second purchase with them and everything went smoothly this time.

The product was delayed and only offered 1/2 the delivery charge as compensation. This was for a gift and did not come in time which was disappointing. However there was a good mix of beers and value for money.

Ordered a beer hamper for a birthday treat. Beer hawk emailed me a few days later saying that there had been a delay. I was worried that it was the start of a battle, but am pleased to say the beers were delivered on my nephew's birthday and he says he's very happy with them!

Good website. Nice range of beers. Service wasn't great. Took ages before i got an email from them saying they were in middle of moving warehouse and they had lost my email - they'd taken my money! Even then it took ages for delivery to turn up. when it came - well packed and nice beer. good price. I'm happy to try them again - this could have been a one off. shame there wasn't any comms about the move on the website or on ordering.

Great beers, reasonably priced. Although wish i could say the same about delivery. Took almost two weeks to receive my order. I appreciate that they were in the process of relocation, however when ordered on website it still stated delivery in 3 working days, also when it did arrive it was incomplete and i had to wait a further 3 days for the balance of my order. I frequently use one of beerhawks main competitors and always receive within two days.

My order was a little delayed as they were moving premises but to make up for it they offered me a voucher for my next purchase which was decent. Beers arrived really well packed in a box with individual compartments unlike some other sellers I've ordered from. Considering the good packaging and relatively low price point I would order again.

Delivery was late took over a week and was delivered to wrong address.Parcel was sent to the billing address not delivery address.Upside is the beer is good but they need to sort out delivery side.Also have been receiving same emails over and over telling me I've been given a gift voucher.

Disgusted! Ordered an Advent calendar as an anniversary gift for my husband 6 weeks ago and trusted them to deliver on the specified date as they said. No sign of it or any message to say it will be coming. They took my money fast enough. I have emailed, sent messages through facebook and tried to ring all to no avail. I will be contacting Paypal for a refunbd but if you have any sense, stay well away, they are cowboys, you only need to read the reviews to see that.

Hi Jane, Sorry you are so frustrated with the service. The advent calendars were made available for presale in September as they were so popular last year. The order page does state that delivery will be made in November as does your order confirmation, so sorry if this hasn't been clear enough.
