“Good customer service although found it hard to get through at first, Douglas was great on the phone, beers just not for me, I like craft ale just not “salted caramel milkshake” ale and “green tea” ipa but too hipster and pretentious for me I’m afraid, call me old fashioned! Some of the stouts however were absolutely delicious!”

“Douglas was helpful and polite. 5* Had a bad experience with previous customer service person Michael (0*'s for Michael - he was so rude and patronising to me) so I rang again and luckily got someone helpful.”

“Unfortunately, telephone line quite busy, a bit of time on hold but always Douglas is good, polite, always helpful and dealt with queries effectively. Price is OK, beers are varied, goods well packed and delivery is punctual. No quibble refund. - due to mix up on subscription renewal dates. Cancelled subscription as these craft beers are just not for me.”

“Fairly long wait on hold to get through. Having read a few of the reviews on here it looks like lots of people were in the same position as me and phoning to cancel subscriptions. This must be very demoralising for the team. The product and idea is good, but a bit expensive in the longer term. Douglas invited me to use the benefits I'd already accrued so I will stay another month.... He maintains a calm, engaging and straightforward manner despite what seems to be a very repetitive call.”

“Douglas was friendly and helpful. He gave some perks of staying but wasn't too pushy. I got a voucher for my first crate and the beer was nice but it isn't something I'm looking to do regularly (not a massive drinker)”

“Great service and great beers! Can be hard to get through on the phone but once connected Douglas made great offers for me to stay and was not pushy. I’m drinking too much alcohol, that's the only reason for cancellation!”

“I was given a gift card which had to be used to take out a subscription. The beers are pricey, but if you want quality from around the world you have to pay for it. I'm enjoying the beers I was sent, but I prefer one off purchases to an ongoing subscription. I have therefore cancelled, despite Douglas's friendly attempts to bribe me to stay. But the beers are good.”
