“The shoe looked gorgeous but the ankle strap would not close. The first hole was too far into the strap, which made the fit too tight. I am 5'4", 140 lb, and wear a 7.5, so my feet are average. It was an extremely disappointing experience.”

“Beautiful shoes which are comfortable when trying on. I didnt keep them as the heel was too high and then had to pay £30 for shipping from UK to USA to return them! It would have helped to know the heel height beforehand. The purchase was a mistake in view of the return cost. Keep this in mind if you're not sure about whether to get them or not, for me it was a big waste of money.”

“The shoes are very beautiful and chic, but not comfortable. The strap on the back heel slips off constantly making them hard to walk in. I wore them for engagement photos and had to stop often to adjust the strap. Im not sure I can wear them for my wedding.”

Hi Amanda! Slingbacks can be finicky depending on the shape of your foot. Going down ½ a size may work if the slingback currently isn’t making contact with the back of your heel. If the toe area feels good, snug but with a little room to wiggle the toes, then we don’t recommend sizing down or else it may be too tight here. If your heels are narrow and the slingback keeps slipping off, you may want to use double-stick fashion tape or strap cushions to help your foot grip onto the slingback more. “Absolutely LOVED my bridal shower shoes!! They matched my theme perfectly!! I bought Eve for the special event. The butterfly’s are gorgeous! Only complaint is towards the end of the day (after wearing them & standing/walking for 5 hours), my toes hurt. But otherwise, amazing!”

“These shoes are very beautiful. I don't wear heels that often anymore, so I was worried about the pain level on my wedding day. However, they were so comfortable! I wore them for 8 hrs straight before experiencing any discomfort. Not bad at all. I would have given a 5 star review, but on the day of my wedding I noticed that the back of the heel had started peeling. There was nothing to be done to fix it at that point, so I was disappointed. I expected more from heels at this price point.”

Hi Lynn! It sounds like the protective liner was left on the soles of your shoes. We apply this plastic liner on the soles just to help prevent scuffing during try-on. We do lift off the heel tip to make it easier to peel, as we have heard from some customers that it was too hard to get a grip on. Once you remove the plastic liners on the soles, your shoes are ready to be worn!

“These shoes are beyond what I expected. They matched perfectly with my dress and have beautiful lace details. They were also pretty comfortable so far given that I had to wear them to multiple fittings for my dress. I'm looking forward to wearing them on my wedding day.”

“I think these shoes were so beautiful and this was definitely the splurge of my accessories for my wedding, but sad to say these were some of the most painful shoes I've ever worn. I wore them for my ceremony and barely at the beginning of the reception, even with an insole added, they were unbearable. Since these were marketed as the 12hr shoe, it was so disappointing. So, I'm very sad. But, giving two stars for the fact that they were stunning and I was able to at least get through the ceremony. But, for the price and what they were marketed as, two stars are all I feel I can give.”

“My shoes were exquisite! They were beautifully crafted and made with quality fabric. I did kick them off for my beach wedding ceremony but they looked so lovely with my gown for cocktails that followed. I’d highly recommend Bella Belle - shoes arrived quickly and were even more beautiful in person.”
