“Drove from Mount Shasta to Best Buy yesterday to purchase a multi adapter for my Microsoft Surface Pro computer. I was assured by the "knowledgeable" salesman that it would fit my computer. It does NOT fit my computer and now I have to drive back to Redding to return it. I am not happy and will never shop at Best Buy again!”
“Ordered and paid for a refrigerator on Monday to be delivered on Friday Received email to confirm delivery date. Delivery day arrives and nothing. No email, no phone call, nothing. Called customer support and was told the date changed that morning to the next day, Saturday, at 7 pm. I asked why the change with no notification. Transferred me to the delivery folks. 50 minute on hold time. Gentleman that answered did not see anything on a delivery delay to Saturday. Stated he did show the order placed on Monday and the shipment coming from San Antonio. Then he sees it was cancelled on Friday with no justification entered. Then he sees a new delivery set for the following Wednesday.
Still no justification as to why. On hold again for over 30 minutes to talk to a person that claimed to be a Supervisor.
She has no customer service knowledge nor skill. They did not even try and perform any type of customer service nor try to help. Asked her to cancel the order. She had the nerve to tell me I wouldn't be able to get another one. I logged into Home Depot and got a bigger one with a delivery date for the exact same price. I will never go to best buy again. Once I pay off the account I have with them I am cancelling the account. We have purchased many things over the years but I am official done with them. Sad really as we are going to be purchasing all new apiances for our home. Good luck to you best buy and i hope you treat other customers better in the future. Otherwise I can easily see your store going bankrupt like so many others that don't respect their customers.”
“We ordered a Frost Free freezer on July 18th, 2020. It was scheduled for delivery on August 12th. Received a call from delivery that the date would need to be rescheduled to September 7, then rescheduled again to September, 23, 2020. I began to wonder if they are actually in possession of this item. I called, they are not.
I feel as thought I have waited months for this freezer and just wasted my time. This is my first and last experience with these folks!”

“I ordered a television from Best Buy in Dover, Delaware, on August 14th. I paid approximately $1,600 and was told that it would be delivered between noon and 8 p.m. on September 9th. I was to be contacted the evening before to verify the delivery. I received several text notifications during the week to remind me of the delivery but never received a phone call the night before. As of 10 p.m. on September 9th the TV has not been received. After contacting Best Buy and remained on hold a total of 55 minutes. I was told that they missed my delivery and they would reschedule to September 15th. There was never an apology and an inquiry as to what they can do to make things better they just assumed that I would wait a total of a month for the delivery of my TV without any problems. What kind of customer service does not call the customer when there is a problem with a scheduled delivery?”

Second delivery appointment - 9 and 1/2 hours, 3 phone calls to Best Buy, and STILL NO APPLIANCES!!!!!! Just did not show up! What terrible service! I ordered a fridge online. Due to labor day sales, I had to wait a week for the first delivery date. Nothing they can do about backorders. The day of my delivery they show up with a 24' truck and call me to let me know that they can't find parking (this is Los Angeles btw) for their 24' truck. They call me from one house over on the main road, maybe 30 feet away from my door. I ask them if they can just park there and drop it off at my place, but NOPE they can't be more than 100 feet from their truck. It's literally 30 feet from my front door. No calls, no emails, I call the delivery crew, geek squard, etc. nothing. Finally after 6 hours I call Geek Squad again and they inform me that I have to call again tomorrow to setup delivery. I have to call.. Not them calling me. I say great, so i call tomorrow and get it delivered tomorrow? NOPE. They don't do same day delveries. They won't deliver it today, I can't get it delivered tomorrow, how is this acceptable? Literally first time using Best Buy's online delivery, can't imagine every shopping at Best Buy again.”

I paid for it online for 509.00 (total 635.00). When I picked it up it was completely packaged (couldn't check it). When I got home and opened the item the sticker was listed for 479. So was over charged. I attempted to reach out via phone and the agent was so rude. She said I would have to bring it back to Georgia so they can see the price. Then put me on hold when I asked to speak to a manager and was hung up on. I emailed customer service with the order receipt and a picture of the sticker price with the sku with lower price. My purchase, call and first email was 9/5. Today I get a response from best buy customer service. The new price for the item is now listed for 449. And 79 for the warranty (vs 89). I paid more money for an open box. The first email agent that responded me back tells me I can return it and get a price match of 381 for the satisfactory open item. I email back asked if we can avoid having to go to the store. Then get a response back from a different agent saying I can't get the 381 price. Then a response back completely contradicting that. Then a 3rd agent emails me back saying sorry no price match. I email back and again to no avail. Feeling completely defeated and I am just returning the item all together. If I can make the purchase electronically why not fix this, honor what the first agent said and provide a refund for the difference. I drove to another state for this cause there was no option to purchase online or near by. Nothing but frustration. I've never dealt with this at Amazon. I should have just purchased from them. Sorry and saddened as this ends my relationship with Best Buy and I will advocate that to family and friends.”

“Pushy salesman. I wanted a Nikon camera, pretty much like the one I have. But kept telling me how great the Sony is. I didn't want a Sony. I cannot figure it out. Everytime I would tell him that I wanted the Nikon he'd go into his song and dance about the Sony. Now I have a Sony that I cannot use. And if I take it back I will lose 15% for a restocking fee. I don't know why when a customer comes in and tells the salesman what they want, why they have to try and talk you out of what you really want. I feel like the biggest buffoon on earth. And I'm sure after what I just got done reading, no one will do anything for me. Best Buy needs to read these posts and do better with their customer service. I am not saying, even though it should hold up, a little, the old saying of the"customer is always right," it should go with out saying, listen to what the customer wants, not what the salesman wants the customer to think they want. $800.00 later and a camera I might never use. “Our new refrigerator was damaged upon arrival and the delivery people damaged the old refrigerator while taking it out. So now I have no refrigerator AT ALL, with seemingly none in the size that will fit in our house available until October. Trying to get in touch with someone who can help for hours, but calls have been transferred, put on hold, and disconnected. Would give zero stars if I could.
We have now been four days without a refrigerator and any assistance from Best Buy. We are constantly redirected and put on hold. This morning I was informed that, although we were invited to schedule delivery of a replacement refrigerator, the refrigerator is in fact not available and we would have to pick out a new one. The representative I who finally called keeps repeating we have to return the open box refrigerator to the store. THE REFRIGERATOR IS NOT IN MY POSSESSION. Why could nobody call and give us that information?
The delivery people also failed to follow the company’s COVID -19 protocol and didn’t not wear masks.”

“Best Buy has the worst customer service ever they used to be the place to go but dealing with them over the last month has been horrendous. It took me 3 weeks to finally get a Geek Squad appointment in the store for a laptop that has been giving me trouble for the last 3 months. I was stuck in traffic and I was going to be 8 minutes late for my appointment I started calling them while I was on the highway to inform them that I was going to be late but to ask if i could please be seen because I was driving 30 miles to get to that appointment. I was on the phone for 20 minutes before I finally got through to someone and I was told that they only have a 10 minute window so that if I was going to be a 10 minutes or more I would not be able to be seen however by that time I was almost at the store my appointment was at 10 twenny I got to the store at 10:29 by a time I was seen it was 1030 and I was told that I would not be seen because that 1040 person was there are already. There was no way that they would be able to get done with me in time.Not even doctors offices do this. I can't believe I drove 30 miles to get there try to get them on the phone for 20 minutes only the get there to be told I'm sorry I to make another appointment.I asked to see the supervisor or manager and I was told that they were tied up. Absolutely ridiculous I was even told if I had a problem I can call customer service I mean it just got worse every second of the way. Well I called customer service to file a complaint wait another 15 minutes to finally speak with someone and then I was told I need to go on line to the specific store and e-mail the manager who did not have time to see me !”
“I am a rewards member and have earned $290 dollars to be used toward a purchase. Today I went to buy a Ipad pro with the keyboard and pencil. I was told originally if I paid for the products I would be able to pick them up next Saturday 9/8/2020. I agreed, during the check out, I was told the time was going to be 9/10/2020, I agreed, not thrilled to pay 1400 dollars for an Ipad and have to wait. The sales clerk rang up the purchase and applied the rewards to my purchase, the money came out of my account, but was not applied to the purchase. Several managers got involved and no one could determine what happened. I expected Best Buy to take a little responsibility, continue with the purchase. I was told that I could pay the entire amount and they would try to get it resolved. It could take 4-5 days or longer no one would give me an exact time. I asked to speak to the store manager who I was informed was on vacation, I asked for the District managers name and contact information, they refused. After an hour I left very frustrated, I was informed I would not be getting the Ipad unless I paid the entire amount, I could not have a phone number to complain and I may or may not get the rewards money back that the employee screwed up and lost it. Best buy does not care about customer, I spent over 3000 this month as a customer, I really don't think I will be back. I was excited to get the newest Ipad, I left 290 dollars in the hole and was pretty much told to pound sand. If I were AMAZON I would be doing back flips, This is the reason people are shopping on line. I'm done, I will follow up if and when I get my money back.”
“Best Buy in Oconee County, Georgia needs to leave! A couple went into the store without wearing a mask and the store personnel got on their radios and told the other employees not to wait on them. I decided I would file a complaint to let them know I was not happy on the way they treated the couple. My first call went to India and then I was transferred to Mexico City. Needless to say their English was a joke and the man in Mexico City had difficulty finding the correct store. When I asked if I would be notified of any action taken I was informed I would not. It was very evident nothing was going to be done. I have done business with Best Buy as recently as 5 months ago and numerous times before then. I will not do business with them again. “Bought an Asus computer from Best Buy. When I got it, it was unbelievably slow to boot up. Not being a computer expert, I thought it was just the brand. From day one, things got worse and worse with this computer. Got no satisfaction from Best Buy or Asus when I complained. It kept crashing and coming back up.It finally crashed for good. I sent it off for repairs and I now suspect something was wrong to begin with. In my opinion, this computer was either a lemon that no one would stand behind or a return that got put back into stock. “SCAM SCAM SCAM. Bought a decently priced headset it lasted 5 months to the day I ordered it. I couldn't even leave a bad product review because I didn't buy it through an account despite having full receipts and everything, so all of their reviews are 100% biased from people who like and regularly shop best buy. Their return policy is bunk I can't imagine if I'd got something of higher value and it busted like that. I also went to them for laptop data recovery and that was USELESS TOO”
