“We purchased an item, wanted to return it, called Best Buy they sent me a return label and I shipped it back. I made an in store purchase of an IPAD as a birthday gift for my daughter. The item was supposed to be shipped next day for free. The item never came. I called Best Buy and they shipped another IPAD. It did arrive 1 week later way after my daughter's birthday. I called Best Buy to receive some sort of compensation for ruining my daughter's birthday and making false claims and promises. I was promised a refund. Refund never came. I called back. I was promised another refund. I waited. It never came. I called back, was on the phone for over an hour, only to be told that they won't issue a refund. My advise is to NEVER purchase anything from Best Buy. They have horrible customer service and fail to produce what you are entitled to. May Best Buy receive the same treatment they give their customers.”

Elsewhere BB claims "You'll never pay for parts and labor. We take care of 100% of the costs of parts and labor for covered repairs, with no hidden fees. "
Just be forewarned, like most big box POS companies, BB fibs a bit.

So, to be fair, caveat emptor. The T&C mentions "service fees" ten times in the contract and that these fees can be changed any time without warning. None of the sales people at BB mentioned this when I bought my lousy Dell, of course, but it is up to me as the consumer to be informed about my purchases. Still, BB you friggin' spider, you lost a customer here. Your contract mentions nothing about $99 as a "service fee," and now with the cost of the warranty + the "service fee" I am paying pretty much what I would have paid at the local computer repair shop (which also sucks). I have been a customer for years and I have never had a good experience with BB. It is worse than the government and about as bad as the airlines.

“We recently purchased a new iphone 14 at the store in Amherst NY. We had the most amazing sales experience with their sale associate Olivia. Our existing iphone was so old that even the Geek Squad told use that transferring the photos and contacts would be impossible. Olivia took the entire afternoon to remedy the situation and make all of the preferred settings. Fortunately we arrived at an off time and it was not busy. I have never experienced anyone as patient and accommodating as her. We were extremely thankful for knowledge and effort .”

“Wish I could leave a negative 5 stars. Best Buy has given us the WORST and most stressful experience than any other company I've ever worked with and i literally work for the GOVERNMENT so that's saying a lot. My mom purchased a fridge with a free freezer included in the deal they were having at the time in September, paid in full, and had her delivery date extended 4 different times before we decided maybe it was just the type of fridge out of stock. We're not sure what the problem really was though because every time we called we were given the runaround. One time we called somebody answered and clearly worked from home because it sounded like husband and wife were fighting in the background and kids were screaming. Other times you can't understand a d*mn thing they were saying and basically were told multiple times "there's nothing we can do." When we tried to swap fridges they told us that they will refund us, and then we can reorder instead of just changing it from black stainless to regular stainless. Well they ended up dropping off the freezer while we were waiting on the refund to reorder the fridge. Refund took FOREVER to come through and they ended up charging us for the freezer that was supposed to be free as part of the deal! At that point we said just pick it up, and THEN they tried charging over $200 to pick it up and told us we'd be refunded after they pick it up. NOW they have finally picked up the freezer and only refunded $32. Best Buy kept $541 for WHAT REASON when we waited MONTHS for them to bring us a fridge that never came, they never answer calls, horrible customer service everybody is rude, and that was even more than the "pick up" charge or whatever the hell that was about. This experience has been the WORST. DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY.”
“I purchased a Apple Mac Book Pro just before XMass. When purchasing this item, I ask the sale person if I would be able to add Micrsoft office to the laptop. The answerer was yes. After getting it home I found out that the computer was able to download Microsoft programs due to not being able to update the operating system.
I took the Apple laptop back and was told that it was my problem. No customer service at all from the store in Conroe Texas. Please donot use this store.”
“I bought a Dishwasher online and paid for it. The Dishwasher was scheduled to be delivered to my house on Feb, 17th, 2023. The next day I got a message that that the Dishwasher will not be in stock till 05/11/23. Despite the numerous calls and communication I had with several Best Buy customer service agents on the phone to make sure the mini-fridge appliance will be delivered to my apartment door with signature as opposed to dropping it off in the building lobby/mailroom like a piece of package, delivery drivers still failed to follow the specified delivery instruction when I had paid almost $100 delivery fee online. But what's even worse is to discover that the bottom of the manufacturing box was completely ripped like a loose cap, purposely delivered a piece of junk that's already damaged/used !!! There was one difference is a little more loose rubber on the left side of the middle line part. The meanwhile one woman who was also Best Buy's servicer came to take my phone away to check on her table.They are both servicing on the mobile phone area. But when the phone come back from the women I found the right middle side was 2cm longs' bright line under the screen. I told her why my phone will have this bright line under the screen after her check my phone? She haven't afford her fault and tole me I need to ask manufacture replacement my phone and then I take an oral report and ask Best Buy supported to resolve the issue. Since there is only 14days return policy on the Best Buy store. I tried to ask Best Buy manager and showed my phone and also told him your servicer damage my phone. He definitely refused afford this matter. I asked him to see the store's monitor and he might clarify what happen and check the whole thing. But he said I have no right to see it and only the police office can do. I ask him if I may call 911 to confirm it. But he go away and say it wasn't belong to Best Buy and let me go away. I came back to check with T-mobile's manager. He checked my phone right way and explained that the bright line part is belong to LCD's damage. He is my phone's the evidence of the third part. He wrote the words and explained it with his name and phone. So I came back to Best Buy show the evidence. But it is really sad they yell to me almost 3 times let me go away and to refused resolve it. I came back to the mobile phone area and let them read the massage from the T-mobile's manager. The customer service's manager came back again and told that my phone can't open that means the phone damaged and he ignored LCD's damage part was belong to Best Buy. The Best Buy's manager disappeared in the store immediately and I was really sad on my Christmas Eve. The Guard of the Best Buy came and he said he don't know what happen with me. I explained for my bad situation a little and ask him what's should I do for my right.I shouldn't have had any issues in my visit.The Bust Buy was very poor service.”
