And finally blocked from leaving a review from their website and well as having my 2 reviews removed. The one person (Daniel) from customer care only believed the lies Chaulkins told him . I really didn’t want anything other than to be heard but after all the for mentioned actions I now believe a formal apology by Chaulkins is justified. “Worst experience ever !! Purchased a brand new Onkyo home theater receiver. My new in home theater was built with all components in another location . Well Onkyo builds their new TX-NR6100 remote control with a different frequency so it cannot be used in a different location with an infrared extender. Remote only works if pointed in a direct line in same room. After 4 hours of wasted time Best Buy has put me on a wild goose chase back and force with different department all with the same results. $800 for a brand new receiver and I have go to the other room to control the receiver. So aggravating !!! My last Onkyo worked fine but this upgrade does not . No more business from me for Best Buy .”
“If I could give a zero I would. The worst customer service experience ever. I ordered a computer from best buy online on 11/25/22 they shipped it FedEx on 11/28/22 it was marked delivered no signature required. Obviously someone stole it. I never received it. It has been one month since. I have been promised a replacement computer by 10 different customer service agents and their supervisors. It never shipped. Finally I said I will pick up from the store and it has been pending for the last 6 days. I call up again today and was told it would be ready in one hour. Now I call up and they say they are "preparing" the order whatever that means. All the while apologizing and understanding my frustration. As if they could. This was a present for my son. Now they have my computer and my money and refuse to issue a credit. What a horrible experience. I now have to dispute via the credit card I used. What a scam!! cannot wait for them to go bankrupt!!”

I do not recommend this company in any way. As my experience has shown, writing on Macket Place does not correspond to reality. Store assistants are incompetent. Support is not customer focused. Twice I bought electronics and twice had serious quality problems that did not match the description of the product being sold. The support team can only apologize verbosely. In reality, in your opinion, a client in a difficult situation will not be able to help or does not want to.”

We cancelled as of last week and are waiting on the refund there is an amount outstanding due as a credit to the original CC of $262.99. we are looking for confirmation of that returned amount.

“I know many of you like Best Buy. I think Best Buy is one of the worst companies in the history of companies. Our computer died and I needed a new one quickly for work. We went to Best Buy on November 27th to get a new one. The one we picked was not in stock. The sales guy explained he could order one. I told me how important it was that I have one as soon as possible for work. I needed it no later than December 1st. He checked and said that would not be a problem. The computer would be delivered by end of day on the 30th. It did not arrive. I called and was told that it was lost, and no one knew where it was. A new computer was to be overnighted and arrive on Friday. Guess what? No computer arrived Friday either. Remember, I was supposed to be working. I called again and was told that it hadn't been shipped yet and they didn't know when it would be. I had to call work and explain things. Thankfully I didn't get fired. However, I did miss out on a weeks pay. The computer finally arrived on the 5th after I ordered on from Dell. Needless to say, I returned the one from Best Buy and a couple other things I had purchased from them. I will be canceling my Best Buy credit card and NEVER buying anything from them again. I will be telling everyone that will listen about my experience.”
“Dryer was supposed to deliver on Dec. 6. Called Dec. 6 for updated delivery time. I was told the delivery was being postponed a week. As a Total Tech member, I called the specialized customer service team. The moved the install to Dec. 8. On Dec. 7, I added a in stock item ( same warehouse as the dryer). Email comes through that delivery is now December 16. No luck moving the delivery date. Gave up on Best Buy and purchased from Lowes. Next day delivery.”

“I ordered 4 kitchen appliances online on Sunday Dec 27, 2022 while chatting with a Customer "Care" agent. Before I gave my cc he scheduled delivery for all 4 items for Wed Nov 30. While on chat with him I entered my cc and got confirmation of the order by email but it said to go online to schedule delivery, and that Dec 31 was earliest date. Customer Care rep was still on chat with me so he escalated the chat. New chat person comes on and assures me all 4 appliance would be delivered Nov 30. But email from Best Buy showed only dishwasher was coming on Nov 30. So I got a supervisor (Patrice) on the line and she said she could get this worked out and all 4 appliances would come on Nov 30. After 3 days she still didn't get it fixed and my appliances did not arrive. On Wed Nov 30 she was supposed to call me back at 1:30 pm. She never called back. I've been on hold for over an hour being transferred from department to another. So I finally got someone and asked for order to be cancelled since promised delivery date did not happen. So I get a refund, but not for the full amount. The Best Buy charge on my cc statement is $3159.17, but I only got a refund of $2690.68. I was told this was due to gift cards my order earned and that I would have to go into store to return them (they were emailed to me when I placed the order but I never used them and never requested them). What a joke! Why should I have to go into a store in another city if I did all this online??? If I don't get a call back today with a refund for the full amount I will be contacting Better Business Bureau and placing a dispute on my cc with Best Buy. The many hours I wasted on this I can't get back, but hopefully this review will stop someone else from wasting their time and money.”
