“SCAM - buyers be aware !!!!
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a recent experience with Bestticketfare. On 11/2/24, I purchased two round-trip tickets from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) on American Airlines. The total cost for both tickets was $321.04, and I expected to receive a confirmation for both tickets.
When I did not receive a confirmation, I contacted Bestticketfare customer support on 11/2/24. I was informed that only one of the two tickets was confirmed by American Airlines. Shockingly, I was told that the second ticket would only be available as a standby, which was not disclosed at any point during the purchase process.
It is unacceptable to advertise and charge for two confirmed tickets, then change the arrangement without prior notification. Standby seating is not comparable to a confirmed ticket, and this misrepresentation has caused significant inconvenience and frustration. Furthermore, your website’s statement about not guaranteeing accuracy, dependability, or authenticity, combined with a strict no-refund policy, only reinforces my belief that Bestticketfare’s practices are misleading and potentially fraudulent.

“Not friendly and extremely hesitant to refund money. Never same story every time you speak to someone. Better paying a little more (150-200) for security and deal directly with Airlines.

“Big Scam company. I have just been scamed by this company. Please note that you will get call from an Indian girl who will convience you that you are getting the best deal, then you will get online electronic signiture form. After that you will receive bank details to transfer your money.The money transfer/ or cc transections are based in UK. You will be dealing with at least 3 different people. The ticket reservation will come from India- New Delhi. You will get reservation no. which will be reserved with the airline but they will not pay for it and you will never get your ticket. I have been waiting for 10 days for the ticket that will never arrive. This company should not be allowed to put its advertisement on the internet.”

They offered alternatives....all of which were more expensive and unacceptable re' dates and flight times. Meanwhile, my card had been charged and refunds are not possible! I want to make this public complaint about the scam they did to me, the Avianca flight only cost $374 dollars and they charged me $214 dollars more than the cost of the ticket.
I spoke to the dryer and they gave me all the information about the actual price of the ticket.

“BAIT AND SWITCH!!! Bought airline tickets and the two days later was told that the airline had me on a waiting list. I had to pay more to get my flights at a later time because there's no refund. Prices and seats sold are later denied to buyers. Very unhappy and will never use again!!!!”
“I booked a flight for 120 and they called to tell me he couldn't take any luggage on, even a backpack unless we paid another 98 dollars and the flight was nonrefundable. I finally told them he would fly then but would be shipping his backpack by mail. They immediately cancelled the reservation and said I would not be charged. I found out this is how they make their money is by selling under the price then scamming the customer into paying extra. Heavy Indian accents so hard to understand them and will not just cut to the chases and tell you what you need to know. I rebooked at 153 total on Priceline. What a bunch of crooks. They said they would not charge my credit card but I am watching and will report it if they do.”
