“Earl was insistent I couldn't possibly know what I was talking about when I needed technical assistance for a bad part for a brand new engine. It appears I was getting copy/paste answers for an issue I wasn't having. I don't much care for being treated like an idiot just because I'm not on their team. As for my issue, I can find the answers I need everywhere else, but not here. So far my guaranteed best experience...isn't. I'll likely be returning the motor due to lack of the help I need. Sad.”
“I am excited about my 1956 Schwinn build. Unfortunately, my kit showed up with many parts inside the box scratched and cosmetically damaged. This was from a lack of packaging care.
When I contacted Earl at BikeBerry, he initially only offered me a 10% credit, but that would mean that I would still have to pay more out of pocket to replace parts that arrived damaged, not to my fault.
After a I asked again, he was able to offer replacing one of the parts: the chrome sprocket that is all scratched. Fortunately I have the ability to repair the other parts, but it is still unfortunate.
If the replacement part arrives packed with care and without scratches I will happily jump back on here and add a better review or edit this one.
Regardless, thanks Earl.”
“I’m not gunna bad mouth this company but I’m not happy either with how much I spent for stuff to not fit or work so honestly the only outstanding thing is the response time on Customer service thanks Earl for your assistance”
“Engines arrived on time but instruction video would not play on either of my DVD players. I emailed company twice asking for new video but never heard back. Luckily, there are videos on You Tube instucting how to install engines. Customer service for Bikeberry sucks”
