Let me elaborate: 1) Despite putting the two elements on the charging station, and trying numerous iterations of turning on bluetooth before or after I open the BioStrap app, it is HIGHLY inconsistent in connecting to bluetooth. No other device (wireless speakers, headphones etc etc) that I own have been so finicky with respect to connecting to bluetooth (I have an iPhone 7+ FWIW). So my experience has been HORRIBLE trying to get the strap to connect. It's beyond frustrating, as I actually like seeing some of the stats . So far I've owned this for just over a week, and it's worked / connect for like 3 days and no luck since then. The app keep saying to turn on bluetooth, and this is while bluetooth is on! 2) The plastic wrist strap is beyond frustrating. Just putting it on is like engaging in minor surgery. I own a Whoop strap and it takes less than a second to put on (as it should) and kicks the Biostrap's ass with respect to functioning (i.e. it consistently connects to Bluetooth, and is easy to incorporate into daily living - you know basic stuff like putting it on quickly). The biostrap design (the actual strap), falls flat on it's face when you have to fiddle with the strap for 30-60 seconds to even get it on. Hope that's helpful feedback. Enjoy! Because I'm not.

This is the first fitness tracker I have invested in. I love the sleep tracking and the HRV has been extremely helpful so far in guiding me on when to continue working out and when to back off on my fitness regimen. If you join the Facebook group the customer service is astounding. The one issue I have had since buying my biostrap was resolved within a few hours on an evening after customer service hours were over. Great job!!! I would definitely recommend it.

Struggling with the device. Hard to put on and take off, uncomfortably tight. Can't get it to reliably track unless its an activity. For $250 had hoped for better.

When I bought this, I did not realize that my data is uploaded and downloaded and processed off-device. Still trying to get answers as to what to expect for average monthly data usage. Too many variables apparently. Additionally, reviewing the data on my phone is thus delayed. This is a much different device than what I'm used to. Not real time at all. I may only be able to review their charts on a once daily basis, the day after. Support is only available via the app/email. No phone. Response has been OK, but not entirely informative. Time will tell.

I was disappointed to discover that I had lost my original BioStrap during a torrential rain storm recently. In my haste to get out of the drowning rain, I didn’t perceive that I’d stripped it off my wrist. I have since ordered a replacement as I value the information that this device provided (mainly my sleep, HR, and Oxygenation data). I also got the (more secure) alternate strap. BioStrap for their part did give me a discount on the replacement, which was nice of them.

I bought this based off reviews & having experience with the fitbit you can swim with. To be honest.. I like the look & feel of the Biostrap I was just disappointed with the rate of syncing to the app.. because this doesn't have a front face on the wristband itself, you rely on looking at the app. Mine takes about an hour each time I sync my Biometrics & then it never gets my oxygen reading.. no matter how still I am or dark the room is.. I've even put a towel over during the reading & it doesn't work out! I sadly would like to return it because its not an efficient tool for my Fitness Coach Business! Maybe it's me being on an island with shotty internet connections all over the place, if it synced & gave me the readings I wanted I would totally recommend this strap!

Thanks for providing a review of your experience Stephanie. Regarding the sync times the connection could definitely affect the time it takes to sync the data up to our servers and display in the app. If a user has issues we normally suggest trying turning off WiFi to let it sync over cell data. However if both WiFi and Cell signal are affected by your location it can affect things from there. Regarding your Oxygen readings, that is something support would definitely have wanted to take a look at to make sure the sensor was functioning properly to take your SpO2 levels. Reach out to our support team via support@biostrap.com if you want to try troubleshooting or if you want to continue with the return process.

I’ve had my biostrap a few weeks and have gotten good information from it, my chief complaint is the band and especially the inability to reconnect the device to the phone app if you are not near charger. This happens ( disconnecting from app) for no apparent reason, I’ve had it happen with phone at arms length. If these two issues could be resolved I’d have no complaint. Thank you

The biostrap works fine & I'm learning how to use it more each day. Concerned about the longevity of the wrist strap. I would love to understand my sleep results more.

Split minded with your product, think it offers a great piece of software...missing HR analysis after a workout however! The strap that comes as standard is required to be snug to the wrist, but pops off if any movement or strenuous work, for example lifting boxes. After purchasing your sports strap, I also find that this is not designed by someone who trains/workout a lot as it is still poorly made, and after a few weeks is already exhibiting signs of wear and tear. Thirdly, please include taxes in your first initial payment. This was highly stressing as I use my biostrap as a professional athlete everyday, and an email threatening to turn it off if fees are paid, which is the sellers responsibility to include in the initial payment. I am a big fan of your product, and sorry if this seems highly critical, but hope the feedback is invaluable...after all I am giving it to you for free. But also helps make your product better, as I think you have something great here. Looking forward to hearing back from you guys, My email is alex_brown32@hotmail.com Kind regards, Alex

I really enjoy the data that I am getting and the sleep analysis has been very helpful with gauging effort and recovery. The disappointment I have is with the app and it’s performance. It fails to connect very frequently. It won’t upload my surveys often as well. In the end the data eventually syncs and is there but getting errors with regularity is frustrating. I will give it another week but I have thought about returning it prior to the 30 days if it continues to not perform. I much preferred your model and data to whoop but have not had a great app experience.

Nice looking quality made product but not what I was looking for. I had a lot of difficulty attaching the clasps on the wrist band and at a $30 dollar price for their updated version I didn't think it was worth it. The software wasn't what I was looking for as it seemed to come up short on meaningful information regarding sleep efficiency and on the other hand very detailed and far beyond what I need regarding tracking and developing fitness. I returned it and honestly is a $25 dollar restocking fee really necessary?

I have OSA and find the sleep function to be very helpful. I play pickleball and tennis five times per week and the data obtained is better than my Motiv ring and my Garmin watch.

I’m just getting used to the device, and love the information provided. That said, I have severe RA, and great difficulty with my fingers & wrists - and I have 5” (TINY) wrists. Band takes 5 minutes to get on, has fallen off due to clasp design/weak fingers 3 times in the first week. Disappointed to find you’re shipping with this band when there is a highly rated “improved” one available. I’m not made of money, and afford another expense right now on a product I just bought 10 days ago.
