“Ordered balloon 10 days ago. Still not here. Birthday gone a week aho! Spent 4 times the price of what I would have paid in store and the follow up customer service is non existent. No compensation as I didn’t use DPD for delivery, which is note made clear enough at the checkout. It says the balloon will be dispatched the day before and gives you an actual delivery date. By the time we get it it will most likely be deflated as it’s been out for 9 days already. Will not be ordering again. Feel I have been utterly ripped off. £11.99 for a basic age 11 round balloon!”

Hello Sarah, We are sorry to hear you are unhappy, but due to the current global pandemic, delivery services with Royal Mail will be disrupted although your order will still be delivered. This pandemic and disruption to services is completely out of our control and we would love to deliver your balloons Next Day as per usual, but in the short-term, this is very difficult for all businesses due to the virus effecting delivery services. We are operating and dispatching as usual but once Royal Mail have the parcel then they need to deliver it on the selected date. As stated though, this will not always be possible at the moment due the pandemic effecting their services. Also, our balloons are premium quality inflated with helium, tied to a bow and packed wonderfully where we look to provide positivity and happiness to the recipients day. We always look to deliver on the required day and once the pandemic has been managed then Royal Mail services will be as normal. Regards, Tilly

“Even during these difficult times you delivered my daughters 21st birthday balloons on time which meant a great deal to me as she is not at home at present. Thank you v much, great job.”

“Would have liked it delivered on his birthday as I thought it would be. It wasn’t clear when ordering in plenty of time that late delivery may happen. It arrived 3 days late. It was very nice but birthday been & gone.”

“The website is easy to use. There is an wide variety of styles and occasions catered for. They arrived on the chosen date by courier. My son loved his barnyard style bouquet of balloons. The ribbon used on the balloons elevates the look from what I have previously bought on the High Street. Will be ordering from bloonaway again.”

“Not convinced the balloon was shipped prior to the advised delivery date. Received shipping confirmation 2 working days after the advised delivery date when questioned was told it was an "error" with the system, however, balloon arrived next day... coincidence maybe but seems very unlikely. Balloon and packing good.”

“When enquiring as to where my order was I was emailed promptly to say that it was a problem with Royal Mail only to find out later that I’d been sent a standard email and the order hadn’t even be prepared. I would have rather known the true position at the beginning.”

“Now, I found the Bloonaway, helium ballon, very nice and cute as well as it cheered me up, after surviving a major abdominal surgery, it was nice to see something so pretty and cute. Also, and more importantly, I found the delivery service very good and the product good value for money. All in all, I thank Bloonaway for their service to me. Many thanks Hannah Boyce”

“Difficult times, and because of post office pressure, delivery a little late. So, wish I'd taken the tracked option, not Tilly at Bloonaway's fault. She responded to emails, and updated me with apologies. The balloons? BRILLIANT! For a 5 year olds birthday. The birthday girl was thrilled, her birthday was extended by a day, a blessing in disguise. So, Tilly, many thanks, great service, especially as a granny present when granny couldn't deliver them herself, confined to house by corona thingy!”

“Due to the coronavirus I couldn't see my niece on her birthday. So wanted a extra special surprise so ordered her a birthday balloon. It came on time which under the circumstances was excellent and much appreciated. My niece was over the moon even though she 23 haha. Many thanks and kind regards diane”

“Ordered last minute for my little brothers birthday on Tuesday during the lockdown, came on his birthday despite only ordering the Sunday before, cannot fault the service or balloon and nothing beat the smile on his face when he opened it! Thank you!!”
