I have to say ,I have no problem with the Runcorn store ,the staff are friendly,helpful and it's a pleasant experience visiting ,on the other hand the Widnes staff are so miserable,and unhelpful,it almost feels like they are doing you a favour ,this is from the entrance to the tills! I will not be visiting again

I was trying to get help with garden chips. The assistant was very unhelpful and had a bad attitude. After I asked to see someone from garden centre she called Henry to help and he was even more rude. It was so stressful being treated without respect I decided to leave the store. You need more staff training to deal with the public.

Rude checkout assistant in the Corby store had a go at my wife for “staring at another customer’s pin entry when she was looking out the door. Mouthy when challenged. This store is also a dump and the pricing often doesn’t match the till

So many items on shelves with wrong tickets underneath and items always priced higher. Bought this problem to managers and staff so many times, don't have time or inclination to keep pursuing this issue. lf you've got children with you or can't get down to check small writing on labels b&m must be making a fortune in this time of cost of living. I'm in Stoke area, be warned watch the tickets, day staff are blaming night staff. We won't be using b& m again.

I took a faulty item back for exchange/refund. As I had no receipt they refused to exchange it and gave me a number on a scrap of paper to ring customer service to get proof of purchase. Apparently on receipt of this I coukd come back in to store and would get an exchange / refund immediately. Very odd but apparently store policy. I later rang and did indeed get my receipt emailed to me. So I popped into my local store with the item and receipt on my phone and asked politely to return the item. The reply ... do you have a receipt? My reply.. not a paper one but one from your customer service emailed to me. Well....!!! Reply from assistant.. Oh no that's not a receipt, that's just on your phone. I won't accept that. I have worked in retail for 3 years and that's not acceptable. My reply.. now getting very frustrated over a £3 refund ... I have worked in retail for 40 years and I must tell you it is acceptable. I asked to speak to a manager but apparently they were off today as was the assistant manager. Fortunately another staff member intervened before any humans were harmed and refunded me immediately with an apology. Fair enough the assistant may not have been familiar with these customer service receipts or indeed had never been trained in customer care but her attitude was very rude and she was adamant that she was refusing to deal with me.

I parked in one of B&Ms car parks in Tolworth Surrey, One of my tyres was on the white line on a parking bay and got fined £60. I will not be going there anymore and I will do my upmost to tell everyone not to go there as you go to save money, not be ripped off.

Tried to return a broken storage box which had been broken in store never had my reciept and your staff refused very rude hope it’s worth loosing a customer over £6

they sell items that are not suitable for use, have a manufacturing defect and do not inform customers about it. I had to go three times to return an item that was not suitable for use, wasting money on travel

Awful customer service, spent £169.00 in their Utting Avenue store and tried to change a few homeware items, i was outside the 30 day returm policy, but they were still in stock, I had proof of purchase, but they said no, an awful shop. Stay away this Xmas no customer care at all...

Really poor returns policy, no exchange on items older than 30 days even if you have proof of purchase, tried exchanging pillows and throws but due to moving house couldnt attend the store in time, I spent £169.00 in store and they wont exchange, I also emailed head office who declined an exchange, awful customer service!!

Parking - got a £100 parking fine from Smart Parking after car broke - tried to call store couldn’t get through to speak to anyone - using a company like this to deal with your car parks is only reflecting badly on b&m - never shopping here again & neither are a growing group of friends up to 23 friends btw NEVER SHOPPING AT B&M AGAIN FOR LIFE - B&M will loose more than I did over this… It was our final straw after multiple disappointing purchases that didn’t work or were never really fit for purpose, this parking fine and as my last straw

Asbaslouty DISGUSTING service at the Burnham on sea branch from the STORE MANAGER "CHRISTINA" I was returning items i bought from another store with a receipt both items were in sealed boxes but the the store MANAGER "CHRISTINA" actually caused me of STEALING the items saying I could of bought them from home???? I suppose she also thought i stole the receipt to!!! She said it was policy to return items to the store i bought them from so they could go through CCTV to see me buying the items!!!!!! Than she said she was refunding me as a gesture!!!! I seriously hope B&M head office reads this and sacks her and gives the job to someone else who deserves it. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

A big thank you to Jess who works at the Bridgend store! I asked if they had a large bag of sunflowers hearts she immediately checked and brought it to the check out for me then said she would carry it to my car without me even asking! My car was at the other end of car park but didn’t deter her! A very pleasant considerate assistant.

Bought a Blaupunkt cordless for £69.00 pounds but can’t get a replacement filter for this model. Have taken this up with customer service and told as these were sold at heavily discounted rates they can’t source parts. So beware.

Took back a couple of items back to the store at Kingsgate East Kilbride and we were told that the 30days had elapsed but the attitude of the cashier and supervisor was quite rude. We spend a lot of money in this store and after this incident we will not be able to shop in this store ever again.

One of your cashiers is so rude in the Poole Branch. No hello or thank you. She was very rude to a customer wishing a refund, she was curt abrasive and moaning about another member of staff who was taking too long in the toilet! Probably a customer facing role is not ideal for her. She obviously dislikes her job!

I went to B&M for 4 weeks of work experience. Naturally this comes with the expectation that you will learn about the job, have the opportunity to engage in different roles and generally learn with experience how to complete different tasks. The reality at B&M is that you are taught nothing and are instead expected to do absolutely nothing but stock shelves for four weeks. Trolley after trolley of goods to stock without any feedback or any opportunity to explore the other roles that they have in store. The fact that I heard one of the managers refer to our roles as 'free labour' only supports the fact that they don't have the right attitude towards work experience. I volunteer at a charity shop and have no issues in working without financial benefit however B&M have left me feeling taken advantage of.

Bought sachets of cat food last weekend , didn’t have the tuna 1 s my cat likes , as only had chicken 1 s , I bought them . He has refused to eat them. Asked when I was in the shop today if I could change them ( had tuna today) told do not refund on food . Ok I can understand fresh/fridge produces, bread , eggs etc but this is sealed products and I only wanted to change the flavour . I did also have my receipt . Every other food stores Asda , Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons would change why not B&M ????

I was visiting 10/1/24 8:35pm The cashier was ghetto she used profanity and was very loud yelling throughout this establishment very unprofessional the entire staff was terrible. They stated they was running out of grease and the orders took very long
