I felt that the content jumped around nothing seemed consistent. Made things a bit confusing and drawn out?

Content was good but modules too long. Need to be able to skip through or time less

I liked learning through the video tutorials. It made it pretty simple for me.

Well it was long and tedious, but I didn't realize how little I knew until I finished the course.

It was easy to use online and to be able to pause and go back is a bonus. I did find a few errors in some of the modules but it did not affect my study.

Easy and thorough. Although, I purchased the book and studied for hours just to find out I had to go through all the online modules anyways... made for a very long process...

I found the process of going through the modules on line before writing the exam, time consuming and a little tedious. I had already read the book and will keep it on board for reference purposes. Granted, I only got 92% on the exam but would have found it helpful to know what questions I got wrong so that I could review that section. I had problems using my code from the pre purchased exam and had to have a representative from Boat Smart email me a new password to get into the programme. There was also an error in printing off my licence and also had to call to have the temp. licence emailed to me. That being said, both representatives were very help full and corrected the problems within minutes.

I found very informative although very repetitive and LONG. There was some information that didn't come up on that module but was in the quiz and then saw that reference on the next module.

Thanks for taking time to leave feedback Ana. We understand the test can take a while for some students, but the time requirements and quizzes are required by Transport Canada and NASBLA to ensure students of all reading levels are able to fully understand all content. The timed requirements are the same across all course providers, and we find many students prefer the convenience of completing the course from the comfort of home, rather than in a classroom setting. Thanks for sticking with it and safe boating!

Mobile site works very well which is so convenient, and the desktop site also works well. It's a nice looking course and pleasant to go through. Really awesome that you can either read or watch the video and get the same information!

Very easy and very informative! The videos helped me out a lot, especially understanding rules of the waterways. I highly recommend it!!

It's designed well. If you fail the test you go right back to the beginning. It makes you read.

Its a decent course, I feel there was lots of useless information. I feel like there should be a course for pleasure craft or commercial, and there seemed to be many articles of things that will never be of use to me. However, overall it was a decent course and I feel safer in the waters knowing that all boaters must have a license to operate a boat. Thanks

The course itself was great. However, the timer at the bottom of the page is ridiculous. If the whole point of it is to stop people from cheating that doesn't work either because it's an open book test. Everyone reads at different times and when I've read it thrice and still have to wait three minutes it makes me not want to finish at all. The timer at the top of the page also should only run went your doing the course not when your on the page. My laptop ran out of battery and shut down and the next day it said I had spent 19 hours and 56 minutes working on the course.

Course covers everything in detail. I believe that when after completing the final exam there should be option to view your mistakes as you can learn from them. But overall it was a good course.

Course is well laid out. Time required to move to next slide is too long. Users should be able to move on to the next slide at their own pace.
