“I went your farnbourgh branch today and the lady that served me was really quite rude tried to talk to her and she ignored me twice I have worked in retail and you can't treat customers like that .she was on the first till be front door I shopped about 1230 She did the same toy friend to inwont shop in there again”

“I have bought a dress that was badly made and I have requested return form (threw away original return form by mistake) They said they would contact me 7-10 working day and have not! I am left with no dress and short of money for my holiday, not likely to Order from them again”

“I visited the Bonmarche Store in Dukes Walk, Maidstone, Kent today and my mission was to find some new clothes for my holiday. Whilst choosing things to try on, I was greeted by Rachel who asked if I needed any assistance. She then proceeded to help me look for items to try on and took me to the Changing Rooms where she was on hand to assist me if I needed to change something for a different size or I asked her advice as to whether something suited me or not. Rachel even assisted me whilst I changed out of some dresses, as I had got rather warm in the changing rooms! I have never had a personal shopper before but I can highly recommend Rachel. I hate shopping for clothes, so it was really helpful when Rachel offered her assistance as I managed to leave the store with 6 dresses and 2 tops at a very reasonable price and for once I left a Clothes Shop with a smile on my face and something in my bags. I recommend Bonmarche in Maidstone as the Store is very well laid out, with a great variety of clothes, value for money and very friendly and helpful staff. Thanks to Rachel I now have some new clothes to wear on my holiday instead of the really boring ones I have had for years. :-)”

“I went into this shop yesterday with my mum. Coventry it was well laid out and lots of sizes from 10 to 22. From dresses to tops to leggings. Swim wear. The price of the clothing was very good. And good quality material. The staff were very helpful. 2 older ladies and a young girl. Even though the shop and staff were very busy they had time to help. Using my mums Bonmarche card i earned here 7 point. I will be going here again. I got leggings and smock top for christning. and black and white summer dress for wedding cost for all was under £40-00. Well done to staff I will give you 5***** well done.”

“Wish I had read the reviews before ordering! Ordered 5 pairs of trousers on Friday 20/5 and paid for next day delivery £4.50 in order that I would be home to take delivery, simple yeah? Not for Bon Marche. I emailed asking when I could expect the rest of my order to make arrangements for someone to be home, got no response. The rest of my order arrived today, 3 days later, fortunately my husband was home. They don’t reimburse postage costs as a large order (5 pairs of trousers) is split into 2 deliveries! So as long as they deliver 1 item the next day, you receive the rest of your order whenever they see fit and you pay £4.50 for the privilege. Caveat emptor.”

“Received £5 00 birthday voucher from Bonmarche in March online shop only tried to order item would not accept code called at West Bromwich shop very helpful was told to contact customer services as there was a problem phoned at least 4 times with no response now the voucher has run out why bother to send BIRTHDAY VOUCHER if you can't use it I will never use Bonmarche again”

“The item I purchased still had the security tag on it and a small rip to the stitching, returned by post and had to pay postage, so all in all with delivery and postage charges, the purchase was expensive. Will think twice before using Bonmarche again for online purchases”

“Visited your Burgess Hill shop today. I Took a very elderly lady who is partially blind , in a wheelchair and has Dementia to get her some much needed replacement clothes. I was greeted by a very helpful assistant called Hazel who became our personal shopper. Her customer service was second to none. She asked what we needed and what colours we liked. She picked out a range of items and then helped the elderly lady try them on. We ended up buying 15 items and my elderly friend came away a very happy person. Shopping like this can be a very stressful event but Hazel took the stress away. I will definitely go back to this shop and would recommend this service to others.”

“I ordered two items from Bonmarche and I was waiting for this two weeks. When I picked up my order from the shop I have been told that in case I would like to do return, the one of my two items has to be returned directly to the sender for which I need to pay, so the return postage cost me £5.00. You can pick you order up from the store for free but not necessary you have free returns. This was my first and last purchase online from Bonmarche.”

“Wished I had read the reviews on here before I had ordered. Rude unhelpful store staff, initially told couldn't return items online that were paid for through pay pal (my daughters christmas gift to me) but if debit card presented would be able to. Daughter took debit card, staff took the card out of her hand and looked at it, then told she couldn't have return as the it was her name on the invoice (which it wouldn't be when she sent it to me) but if she took my debit card she could have the refund (not my money). So after the cost of 2 trips to a shop, decided to return by post at the additional cost of £4.20. Now 3 months on after items return, have only just received some of the amount owed and I am awaiting to see it the rest is going to be refund. Never shopping there again”

“I have bought Susie Slim Leg jeans for many years and have been delighted with them, however I bought three pairs recently and they are dreadful quality. The fabric is thinner and when washed they have lost a lot of colour, especially the black ones. I’m now looking for alternative jeans which I’m so disappointed about. Maybe this is due to a new supplier Bonmarche”

“I was in Castleford store with my mum in law on monday and I saw a staff member shouting at another staff member in her face . The girl that was getting shouted at was only small and I felt really sorry for her as all this was in front of staff and customers. I don't think this is professional at all infact I think it's disgusting. I personally will not be shopping at your stores again and my husband and his mum will not be either even though she has shopped with you for years . Some staff should not be in customer service!”
