“I made an order for over 200 pounds. I paid an extra 7.99 for next evening delivery. I waited in, missed an event to do so but decided to wait in. The order did not turn up. There is no customer service number to ring, only an email service. Once sending the email you get an email back saying we will contact you within 48hours . You therefore know you have no chance of getting your order for another 2 days. After 2 days, I heard nothing, sent another email , of course to get the same response email. When they finally got back to me, I was told it had been attempted to be delivered. It had been attempted at all. I then told this company I want a full refund as the items were for a specific occasion. I told them I do not want the order. They then tell me I cannot have a refund until I receive the order, then I have to send it back, at my expense, no return label either. After telling them I will contact trading standards, still no delivery. 5 days of waiting in, and still no delivery. I will never order from this company again. Absolutely disgusting service. They now have my order and my money. 5 days later.....still no sign of anything. I advice anyone about to order from these people to think twice. You do not get your goods or your money back.”
“Disappointed that unlike other online companies they do not include a returns label,as i have have no way of printing one i contacted them to send me one as i wanted to exchange items that didn't fit.they said they can't send a label,my only option is a handwritten one for which i would need to pay postage at post office.Shame as the clothes are nice but postage hassle means I won't place further orders with them”
“Just received my first ever order from Boohoo (decided to order from them because my flatmates seem to like them) and I'm very disappointed. I ordered a borg collar cord jacket and a midi polka dot skirt. First of all, both items smell incredibly bad. I can only hope it will disappear once they've been washed. It's a terrible, strong, syntheticy smell. Secondly, the jacket looks different to the website picture - it's a pale, dull blue rather than a bright baby blue and the borg collar looks cheap and is actually detachable (not mentioned on the website). Thirdly, the skirt is made of a very thin material. It's very see-through.
Overall, I am disappointed and I certainly will not be ordering from Boohoo again.”
“First and last experience with this company! 20% off promo wouldn't work, then expired, then £1.99 next day postage promo didn't work. got charged full price for next day delivery. After paying for the items my confirmation email gave me a date of the following Tuesday not the next day which was Friday. Upon further investigation by going to their FAQ's I found that there is no way they would deliver next day to my post code. Why even list next day northern Ireland as a postage option (at an increased rate I might add) if it is simply not going to happen. I checked carefully about the postage, this postcode restriction is not highlighted or clear during the process.
I now have to travel miles into town, scramble around to find something when I should be travelling to my venue, I'm £40quid down that I wont get back until I go through a lengthy return and refund process that will take about 2 weeks, they don't even have a customer call center, just an email they might reply to in 24 hours! terrible site, terrible experience. Never using again”

“I stopped shopping with this company as soon as I discovered they were overcharging euro currency customers. After looking on the UK version of the website I discovered that customers in the UK were being charged significantly less for the their products for example, a pair of shoes on the UK site were £10. The very same shoes in euros were 18 euros. The exchange rate should have made the shoes 12 euros so that means euros customers are being charged a whopping 6 euros more than their UK customers. This is outright stealing. The company tried to justify this by claiming it helps with overseas shipping...yeah right. They charge you for shipping so pull the other one. Using the shoes as an example, if 10 products are bought at the inflated rate of an extra 6 euros per product, that's a whopping 60 euros extra + shipping. Don't get ripped off if you are paying with euros. DO NOT SHOP HERE”
“doesn't even deserve 1 star, i ordered an item before midnight and paid £7.99 for next day evening postage. did not turn up when stated. yes i ordered before midnight as this is what was stated you needed to do in order to receive it the next evening. try to contact customer service but was ignored. no contact number or email to get in touch with the delivery service. i will not be using boohoo again. its a joke! this is not the first time i have had a problem with your service. 1st time my items never showed making me lose a total of about £50 2nd time i ordered an item it came with rips and wasn't even the correct size and now this, if your going to order from boohoo please change your mind, its a waste of time and money, take your hard earned cash somewhere else!”

“On the 23 I purchased two items size 10.
I notice when I purchase them change the size to six and one of the orders so I canceled one within five minutes of me paying . I got a email stating they canceled then a couple days I got another email that they canceled the other order due to low stock . On the 23rd they took $50 out of my account it's the fourth and multiple emails later the only reply I got was they have no record of taken the money out of my account that I have to talk to my bank! I confirmed with my bank and I also sent them a Bank statement! Still they say they have no records and they're not returning my money! So I think my only option is to get a lawyer involved !”
“Usually have no problem with boohoo. This time I ordered a body suit and a bralet to wear together for a hen party. The body suit was badly damaged and was very visible on wearing so I had no other option than to return for a refund. I received a refund for the items but not postage (with I think is extortionate) apparently if you return a faulty item along with an unfaulty item they will not refund postage ... absolutely outrageous. I had no other use for the other item due to the faulty item so I had to return.”

“I've made my purchase on Thursday (Mar 30) and paid for the next day delivery. I'm moving back to Brazil in a few days and because of this I paid for the next day delivery. Unfortunately the delivery wasn't arriving in time. So I decided to look for some reviews about the shop, as that was my first purchase with them - and I saw really very bad reviews, so I start to be concerned. Most of reviews was saying that they do NOT deliver the purchases or that the clothings come in different sizes etc. I went onto the Customer Service and sent a text - quickly I had an answer and we were in touch basically all day long, trying to solve my issue. Today, Sunday Abril 2nd, I've received my parcel and all the items are in the right size, with no one damage, very good condition and quality.
Basically - the parcel wasn't arrived in time, but 2 days after, but at least that IS arrived and I'm very glad to have that wonderful clothings now. I don't know if I'll have new purchases with them because this experience was quite terrified - but it was because of the bad reviews, and not because of the service.”

“I ordered a white maxi dress for my prom dress in order to save hundreds of dollars on a prom dress from a typical prom store and this one that I found was perfect! It only came one day later than the expected date or arrival which was fine and the quality of the dress is amazing. The dress was $34 CAD and I got 20% off which gave me a grand total of $27 plus shipping on a prom dress that I could have otherwise spent $300 on. This store is perfect for any occasion and quality is great!”
“Terrible. Spent £180 on an order. After getting home one day I check and it says my parcel is delievered. No one was in my home to receive a order so I checked with my neighbours and my local shop. I also checked my post box to ensure there was no "we missed you card" but no, my parcel was no where to be found and there was no calling card. I went to phone boohoo only then realised that they do not have a customer service contact number, everything is done through email. This meant that it takes around 24-48hours for them to reply to each email. This means my problem still is not solved because each time they ask me a question, it takes 24-48 hours to respond to my email! This is the slowest system ever and is not fair when I spent a lot of money and expected my items to have arrived. I was told that Hermes left my parcel in a 'safe location' this is nonsense.. boohoo please sort out your customer service!”
