“I have been waiting for a refund of £1k since April. 5 months.
I've been consistently lied to. Claiming my refund is on its was when in fact you have done nothing.
I have instructed my credit card company to claw back the full amount and I will be claiming compensation of an additional £1k and reporting you to trading standards. 5 months is an utter joke.

“Ok for shoes and accessories but awful for women’s clothes. I’m a 12-14 everywhere else but out of a £300 order (of sale items so you can imagine how much stuff I ordered) the only thing that fit was socks! Everything else was too small. I ordered a couple of 12’s but mostly 14’s as I had heard they come up slightly small.. but not that small! The material is also really cheap and uncomfortable to wear on a lot of items, and they don’t always look as pictured. It’s unfortunately a very misleading site in that sense, thought I was getting a whole new wardrobe! Very disappointing.”

I reordered that same day for next day delivery something different this time in a size 12 and when that order came it was too big, looked inside the label again and they had sent me a size 14! Very disappointing on two orders a day apart.”
“I ordered some items from boohoo on the 14th August paid for next day delivery. The items did not come the next day and we’re sent back to boohoo. Spoke to haseeb who said I should kindly wait for delivery till today 17th August, rang Hermes and they said I should receive it in the next 3 working days. I needed the items by today I cannot believe I paid for next day delivery and I’m not receiving my items. They haven’t even mentioned refunding back the next day delivery fee they charged me. A family member also ordered from them and have not received their items yet also paid next day delivery. Not happy”
“My order got “lost” on the way. When trying to find out what’s happened, I found it difficult to message the website or talk to anyone.
When I finally did, was told I had to wait. But they thought the package was lost.. was asked to message back after 5 day when they could then resend me my item first class.
When the time elapsed and my order was 3 weeks late. I contacted again, to be told the package was lost and the item was out of stock and I’ve been refunded. With no “sorry”. Can’t help but think if they used a good couriers service or had dealt with the issue soon.. I wouldn’t writing this.”
“The clothes look great for a one time wear but can't wear them again as seams come loose! I ordered some shorts for my holiday, baggy paperbag style shorts and when I wore them once the seam ripped. I ordered some leather look leggings and tried them on when they came and they fitted perfect and so comfy! When I went to put them on for a date with my man, the whole bum ripped on them and I'm no Kardashian! I also bought some baggy combat pants and went a size up as I wanted them super baggy, wore them twice and the seam down the leg ripped. I then ordered some satin combats in a gorg camel colour, size 12 (again wanted them baggy) when they came I couldn't get them on my thigh! I'm an 8-10. I used to love getting all my clothes from here but at the moment it's like they don't care of any type of quality.”
“Boohoo is absolutely great spot on colour spot on fitting and beautiful meterial on depending on what you order but I would 100% recommend boohoo if u want a party outfit even just normal wear but absolutely beautiful and sizes are right it was not too big and it was not too small 100000% recommend boohoo”

I first contacted Boohoo in January 2019 regarding a discount code that was given to me that wasn't working. Qamar emailed me back and asked for a screen shot of the code along with the error that came up so i did that the same day.I then got a response from Daniel asking me to try a different browser and to clear my cookies which again i did that same day and emailed them to let them know I still got the same error code. Now in February, i got no response so chased on the 4th. On the 12th Naomi emailed me asking for more detail so i got back to her and then Suhail emailed me to say it had been passed on to the Marketing team. March 15th now i chased AGAIN asking how much longer the marketing team needed. I got a response from Raja asking for a further 24hours as the adviser that was dealing with this problem wasn't in till the next day but he assured me it would be dealt with first thing! but of course it wasnt so i then chased again in July and this time Sophie responded to tell me it had been passed on to the relevant team! and as soon as she could she would get back to me. I'm sure you get the idea, were now in August and after Boohoo wasted some more of my time; going back and forth with pointless emails asking me to wait longer because 6 MONTHS isnt enough for there incapable team to sort this problem. I still dont have any response as to why there is a problem and why its taken so long to fix! Not one of the several people i have dealt with have been able to help me!!”

“Ordered a pair of black skinny jeans, they arrived on time but when I took them out of the packaging they were covered in white hair possibly dog hair, and had a mark on the pocket after I tried them on for barely 2 mins I came out in a rash. I can’t believe boohoo have sent them out in that condition. I’m pretty sure someone’s worn them and sent them back before I received them, it’s absolutely unacceptable. My second order one of the T-shirt’s logo is faded like it’s been washed and the other T-shirt doesn’t even look like it does on the photo, the logo is supposed to be at the side where a pocket goes but instead it’s in the middle for some reason.”

“Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are bad, well to be fair it’s mostly bad! I ordered an XL in PJs cause I like to be snug and comfy in the house... XL 😂😂 more XXS the waist was 24 inches.. me and my mum laughed together cause it probably wouldn’t even fit my little cousin. Never ever seen poor sizing in my life. They never look like they do in the photos on the models, really bad for body positive due to the terrible sizing. Plus, one of the items was meant to come with shorts and didn’t. I also in the past have paid for ‘next day delivery’ and still waited the normal standard waiting time.”
“My experience with Boohoo is best illustrated through an annoyingly long winded timeline, because that's what their returns process seems to be like.
30th June: ordered items
6th July: items arrived but were such poor quality they needed to be returned
7th July: items returned
9th July: Boohoo emailed to say they had received them and would refund me
20th July: contact customer services to chase up refund. I'm told that they refunded on the 16th and it should already be with me. I dispute this and they 'refer the case to their finance team' advised to wait 5 days and then get back in touch
26th July: I follow up my query and I'm told they'll message the person I was dealing with, she never responds
27th July: I open a case with PayPal (luckily I paid through Paypal)
28th July: try Boohoo one more time and am told that the refund failed (for unknown reasons) and I'd hear in 3-5 days
2nd August: refund finally arrived
If you like frustrating and interminable life admin, shop at Boohoo.”

“For starters they could not keep to the promise of next day delivery and stated I had to wait over 2 weeks to see if my delivery would come so I waited but still no show, then i asked for my money back and had to wait for that and when it was refunded they still hadnt refunded my delivery charge so then had to chase them again to get that which again I had to wait for. They were not willing to compensate or offer me anything, I made my order with boohoo for holiday clothing which I didnt get and had to wait ages to even ask for my refund and then had to wait ages for it to reach my bank, I'd been away and come back before I got it, appauling!”
