“Never ever shop at Boohoo! It is the worst retailer ever. I have been shopping online more than 7 years and everything was just fine until I ran into this awful site with the worst customer care. I placed my order on 1/04/2015, on 4/04/2015 I got the tracking number and saw that my parcel was dispatched. As a matter of fact, I paid for express delivery. It has been more than 3 weeks since I paid my order. It is still stated "in transit". As you see, I haven't got my order yet. I contacted customs support for them to search my parcel but they just copy and paste the same information: "I am sorry but delays do take place" or something like that. I asked Boohoo support team for refund me but up to now...no actions, just nothing. It is unbelievable. It looks like fraud. Very disappointed.”
“Furious at this pathetic excuse of a company. The sizing is terrible, I ordered a co-ord set in a size 14 when it came I couldn't even get the skirt over my calves neither the top over my arms. My mother is a size 6-8 yet this fitted her but was still extremely tight and uncomfortable I imediantly sent it back for a refund. I paid £7 for this In the sale and extra £3.99 for STANDARD delivery and only got £6.20 back?! Second time I ordered a jumpsuit for an occasion I have sent it back finally 1 1/2 week after sending it in still no refund, I contacted them and they told me not to worry as it can take 2 weeks to receive it but I finally got an email telling me my refund will be with me in 3-5 days, it has now been nearly 6 and still no refund. Never again will I shop here, always pathetic.”
“I got screw over by boohoo. I order a dress on march 16 @9:49 p.m. They enter the day of purchase as march 17 i was like fine that's nothing. I paid $15 dollars for 2 days shipping, so im guessing from the 17 to 19 is two days guess what nop. For this people two days from the 17 is the 23rd which if they know how to add is 7 business days are u serious. I contacted them over and over, they kept giving a lame answer so i'm going to make sure that i write my experience of shopping with this people everywhere. Where do I begin? I used to be a loyal, very very regular costumer at boohos, we're talking every single month I would order atleast something from the website. I always leave good reviews when I receive good service. And so I did, I was a good costumer who had spent alot of money at their site and kept writing good reviews for them.
However, it all changed this new year when they messed up my new years dress and I had to be in contact with them for over a month. They don't have a direct line so you can't call them and talk to them directly so you have to send them an email. Which they are so SLOW with replying with, it takes atleast a day to reply, and when it's very crucial, it's highly annoying.
So here's my story, the second time they messed me over. (Silly me for ordering with them again after last time, but thought I would give them one last chance)
I ordered a top, skirt and a bracelet, so a whole outfit for my birthday party. When the items arrived, everything was fine, except for that the top was ripped in the middle(?!) It was a cross over crop top so it looked exactly like someone had tried it on (because you need to jump through the fabric crosses that goes around your front and then back) and accidentally ripped it.
HOWEVER, this is now a boken item that someone supposedly has returned back to them, it's IMPOSSIBLE for this to happen whilst being in the package over to my house.
WHICH MEANS, they have sent out an item, to a costumer, knowing it was broken but thought you as a costumer wouldn't mind. So I sent them a email with a picture of the broken item that I want to return this but I want to have another size because god it looked small. Without properly reading through the email I sent them, they send out ANOTHER shirt, SAME size as before, which I didn't want and which I made clear to them from the beginning that I didn't want the same one back. So now there's an item they have sent out, on the way to me, without my permission. Which means that I am gonna have to go all the way to the postoffice AGAIN ( I live quite far away from our local post office) Because they can't read their emails properly?
THIS here, that could've been so simple, has taken me a whole MONTH to communicate with them because they never get back to you until days after.
So my birthday outfit was now out the window because they took this long to reply & because they don't read their emails properly before making rational decisions.
Anyway, so I am STILL waiting for my refund, TWO months later.
No word from them at all, I kept emailing and they said that the faulty item was in their warehouse and that they were checking up on it. And FINALLY, some girl replies and says that they can't give me a refund till they have received the other item they sent me.
Well hang on I said, I didn't even ask for that item, YOU guys sent it to me WITHOUT my permission. I don't have time to go back and forth to the post office because of their mistakes. And you would think, that after all this, the LEAST they could do is to let me have that one as a I am sorry gift.
They had NO explanations on why they would send out a ripped shirt to a costumer either. I won't get a refund back because I don't have time to run back and forth for them. It's embarrassing, especially when you are such a loyal costumer and they treat you like this. Worst is, we're not talking much money here, we're talking £12!!! Which makes it very cheap on their side. I want the refund because of the principle, they ruined my birthday outfit and had me being angry for this long so yes, I want my refund because of the way they have completely blanked me and having using 25 different workers to answer their costumer service email so you have to drag the whole story over again to the next person that's gonna reply because it's never the same person replying.
It's so frustrating!!
I suggest you shop somewhere else, a company that does this twice to a regular who has spent so much money there, without a REAL apology, doesn't deserve your money.

“Royal mail did not leave a delivery card for me, but my tracking said that I was carded. I didnt know if the clothes were with a neighbour or in the depot office, so contacted boohoo via facebook. This is at 7pm on a saturday night. They replied within 3 minutes telling me where my order was, the reference number and an apology.
Always been impressed but this was exceptional. Leading brands could learn a thing or 2. Outstanding.”

Im usually an asos user and thought i would give boohoo a go (BIG MISTAKE)
so me and my boyfriend booked a holiday to new zealand and i thought i would treat myself and purchase a few new items for my trip we left 20/2/15
I purchased a few items on the 3/2/15 spending well over $100 and it said it should arrive in australia around the 14/2/15 . ok sounds good? plenty of time to arrive before i leave right? WRONG!!!!! it is now 9/3/15 AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANYTHING!!!! the tracking number they gave me says "still in transit" ARE U EFFING KIDDING ME? so i go to the post office to see if they can track the whereabouts of my damn parcel and they tell me it has been sitting in the boohoo warehouse in australia for TWO WEEKS and are yet to release to australia post for delivery! !!!!!!!! WTF!!!!???? so i contact boohoo via facebook and all they can say is "we apologize but it is now in the hands of our courier, it is out of our control as soon as we get more info we will contact you" 2 weeks go by and still no info ...seriously boohoo this is by far the worst form of customer service and i will NEVER EVER EVER buy from you again
lets hope i will actually get my order sometime this yearr that has been sitting in your warehouse for weeks. but i wont hold my breath

I run a store and yes mistakes happen, but firstly I would do everything to fix the problem and secondly I would not lie to a customer! I paid for express because I needed it for an event, if they had the decency to let me know it wasn't coming I could have bought something at a store beforehand.
Now because the "customer service" (I stress I use that term losely) team via email did not follow up, try to fix anything and are liars, I thought I'd let others know though Facebook. Its funny how quick they are to respond when you let others know about their lousy business. Suddenly I was responded to straight away. The lady was lovely and they refunded the express post, but would not acknowledge the fact I had been lied to or apologize on behalf of the company. I do stress that she was lovely and helpful.
Since then I have sent numerous emails to Boohoo and have had no response.
This does not seem to be an isolated incidence from all the other reviews, just wish I'd seen them beforehand.

“The worst website ever. They dont send the orders. I receive an email tells me that my order shipped and also I receive a tracking number. I try to track the number 3 days now and the only result is shipment record created. That means that they didnt send anything for delivery. I sent them more than 10 emails and they dont answer. Its a scam page and please if you dont want to steal you dont buy from them.”

“I am absolutely appalled about the stories I've heard about boohoo. The way they treat their employees is despicable and there is definitely a huge level of favouritism. I know of one girl who was forced to leave her job because she was ill, how disgusting!! The management take about 2 20 minute breaks in the morning but it's definitely a big deal if someone in the C.S department goes to the toilet 2 or 3 times. If any one is thinking of joining boohoo, take all this into consideration. They're just bothered about popularity and brand image, nothing is ever about their employees unless you've been promoted.
