Great customer care while in the shop and then ordered goods to be collected in store. Arrived a day earlier than promised with instructions of where in store to go. All very easy and stress free Xmas shopping

I attended Boots Pharmacy Marina Way in Hartlepool today Thursday 30th November 2017 at approximately 17:30. I spoke to a young female customer service advisor and advised I had an appointment at 17:45 for a flu jab and obviously I was a bit early. The young girl gave me an odd look and asked the other woman (who I assume to be the pharmacist on shift) if she could provide a flu jab. She said no. The young female asked me how I had booked the appointment. I told her online and she proceeded to tell me (without an apology or any apologetic manner whatsoever) that I should not have done this and I should have called the pharmacy directly to ensure that a pharmacist who could provide such a jab was available. (you would think if a online system provided by boots allowed me to book an appointment at a certain time and date the company would ensure correct staffing - STAFFING ISSUES ARE NOT MY PROBLEM) I then suggested that as I had received an email confirmation of my appointment and two text reminders and NEVER any indication I needed to ring the pharmacy direct that perhaps the system should be taken down of it doesn't work to avoid further inconvenience. Again with an apology the young girl advised that it's the boots website and they are not part of boots and again I had made an error and still no apology. I think as a customer and as I don't know the legal set up of the two separate entities (again as I am only a customer) and they both bear the name BOOTS it is reasonable for me to assume that Boots pharmacy and boots are one and the same. I was dumbfounded at this point and had nothing further of use to add. I asked if I can make an appointment as I am stood there now and she advised she would need to check staffing but I could probably turn up tomorrow after 4 and I wouldn't need to make an appointment. I need to add I am pregnant and had travelled in bad weather to attend this appointment only for my time to be wasted. The service was absolutely appalling.

If I could rate zero I would. Ordered online a birthday present the delivery arrived in good time however I was sent the incorrect item. I emailed boots straight away and got a automatic reply saying someone would response in 2 working days..nothing so emailed again, still no reply. Lost my patience by this time and called, the customer service adviser told me to send it back at my own cost and time and wait up to 14 days for the correct item to be sent out! Or take to my local boots for a refund! Again wasting my time and I wanted the product not a refund! Absolutely disgusting service and will not be buying from boots again.

Every Christmas I always look for Richard on the fragrance section. He always goes out of his way to help me find that perfect perfume and the perfect aftershave, Richard always shows me from the oldest to the newest fragrances , but 9/10 I always buy the newest. Richard is very patient, he also knows his fragrances. I always put my trust in Richard when it comes to fragrances I have done for the past three years . I don’t just buy one perfume or aftershave I can buy up to 8 bottles because he knows what he’s talking about and he definitely knows how to sell the fragrance. Richard said to me “his Christmas doesn’t start until he sees me”and I must say “my Christmas doesn’t start until he sells me that perfect fragrance” Keep up the good work Richard and Merry Christmas 🎄

I was purchasing an item at boots Kirkcaldy high street and the sales assistant was incredibly rude and then her phone started ringing and she answered it while I was in the middle of speaking, also when I handed her the cash she made a rude and unnecessary comment about the fact I hadn’t laid the money in a neat pile I am very disappointed and almost decided to not buy the item

Online order- arrived with boxes missing and damaged. Boots expect you the customer to repackage the items and send back at your inconvenience. Not the online shopping experience you really want when you are pushed for time!! Really poor- and highly disappointed. Can't believe this is the way boots operate. Avoid online shopping with boots!!

I was looking for aftershave in st David’s centre in Cardiff we went up to the fragrance and were two members of staff having a good conversation how to lay carpet after a few minutes I interrupted them to ask for help. I told the man which aftershave I wanted and he asked me what size and he then told me they were by the escalator and turned away. Whilst walking away another group of staff were more engaged in their conversation about destiny child. The service was appalling today.

I spent a great deal of my Sunday afternoon completing an online shop for boots in the vain hope that it would save me time .... Not so!!! On finishing and with current vouchers in-hand, I proceeded to input voucher details to which each and every one was met with INVALID... Not so!!! Then I tried to delete each and every item and even empty the damn basket - this took for what felt like an eternity... In frustration, I closed down the browser. I am not quite sure who set this online facility up, but in my opinion, they need to change their day job. Quite frankly, it is complete rubbish... Unimpressed and will definitely not recommend it to anyone. What is the point in having a points card that you cannot utilise to the full online with your account nor in fact input voucher details?? I think that the 6 years olds that I teach could teach your online technicians a thing or two...

I personally made a mistake with my purchases at boots this week, so I telephoned my local store this morning and the store manager answered. She was really pleasant and understanding and made arrangements for me to call in and see the duty manager later in the evening. Called in just gone 7pm and the duty manager knew all about my problem and resolved it in 2 minutes. A fantastic customer experience at Deepdale Store Preston Lancs with Manager Sue and Duty manager Sian. You've now got a loyal customer for life. Well done. Regards Arthur

Hi I recently bought some items at Boots Gatwick Airport, South Terminal-Arrivals and had an 'interesting' experience! I was paying for my items when the guy behind the counter saw that I had a lot of loose change in my purse and said I could pay with this if I wanted. He then proceeded to take my purse from me without asking and began tipping the money out! I took it back and said I'd do it myself! The bill was for £3.49 and so I gave him a £10 note and fifty pence as I couldn't be bothered to count out the change and was in a hurry. He then gave me one penny change! I asked for the rest and he seemed flustered and gave me the remaining £7. I don't want to say that he was being dishonest but it was a very strange experience, I'm only 63 (and don't have grey hair!) and have never had a shop assistant take my purse from me before. More staff training is needed I think!

I went into Boots in Maidstone this morning - in Fremlins Walk - as I suspected my blood pressure was too high. The chemist took my blood pressure three times to check. He recommended I see a doctor and I was very grateful for his help and advice

Ordered online and Boots duplicated the order. Called and said that I should return the second one received and get a refund. The purchase is taking 10 days to be delivered. So now I have to make a trip to post office or Boots to get a refund on their mistake. Absolutely hopeless - perhaps someone from Amazon could help them out with online shopping. Will never order online from Boots again.

I ordered gifts online 1 item was used and damaged had to take it back to store only for the rudest staff and manager who is in the wrong job didnt care about my complaint and the fact I travelled to the store with broken ribs to be told it wasn't her problem! Needless to say I've put in a complaint.

The boots store in hanley stoke-on-Trent is appalling, the way the staff speak to one another is beyond a disgrace! A tall scruffy girl helped me find a product and on our way she spoke to her college about lunch, so unprofessional! On another occasion we herd a staff member putting stock away, swearing and crying!

I bought child farm moisturiser and shower gel for my son who has eczema. I have tried many creams including steroid cream. This cream is by far the best, within 2 weeks his eczema has cleared. Amazing product.
