“Terrible company to work for, horrible, outdated and professional- please do not take out your experience as a venue or supplier out on the staff because we agree with all of your feedback but are under bad commercial managers, who berate us, under pay us and more. There’s a reason they have such poor retention of staff.”

“I strongly recommend that any other wedding venues considering using this platform DO NOT do so - absolutely a scam level service. Awful experience and 100% a waste of money! We own a modest wedding venue in Pembrokeshire and were looking to increase our booking through different channels. After being approached by Bridebook we agreed to a 6 month agreement, but due to my reservations we agreed a 3 month break clause in case we were not happy with there service. We brought this 3 month break clause into effect in writing as I can say with a a pretty high level of certainty that ALL enquires that came through the platform were fictitious and not genuine couples! When dealing with staff, you are passed around from account manager to account manager with no consistency which was the first red flag. We gave our notice as discussed that we would be breaking after the 3 months were up and and received mixed emails, when seeking clarifications emails, they simply ignored us. We have not received a single wedding as a result of this platform and upon checking, it appears every enquiry that came through appears to be spurious and not a single local person enquired which is odd to say the least? But irrelevant to that - we had a three month break clause, and used it, and have paid in full for the 3 month period. However they have continued to send threatening emails regarding court/debt collection action for the remaining months and further more have continued to escalate the debt endlessly each month with further emails. Every email we send is ignored and not responded to & all the emails they send regarding chasing money (Not owed) are from 'No Reply emails' Regards Lee Bridges Director”

“As a Venue we have been inundated with enquiries. Having checked emails and called numbers that do not exist, I would not recomend that nany venue or supplier used this platform. I am not sure where trading standards fit with this type of shady behaviour by a company such as this. We signed up for a year last year and when they tried to double our fees this year we started to look into their statistics and actual response rates from emails that we had responded to. My judgement is that this is not an ethical company to work with”

“After signing up for what I thought was a three month trial for two venues, they then took money from my account stating I had actually signed up for 12 months at five times the rate. With no proper communication for three months I am now in a battle with the management to stop the payments and remove us from the site. Not only has this happened but the enquiries are unqualified (proven by another venue testing the system, proving couples didn't even choose to send enquiries through) and not worth the time spent answering them. Its been truly upsetting and unprofessional. Please don't get duped. Its a great way to throw well earned money and time away.”

“Fake enquiries. Made up statistics about how many couples use their app. Complete waste of time being a supplier on their app. Users also don’t last long on the app and complain about how hard it is to use. We have had wedding couple tell us the same story.”

“An absolute non stop stream of unwanted and unsolicited emails to an engineering company for goodness sake. Would not unsubscribe us and changed email senders details relentlessly getting around the Spam filter. Non stop offers for wedding planners when we are building steel stairways. Very very bad ambush marketing.”
