“They are horrible charging me a lot of money for no help at all I started getting my prescription through them and after a month of everything being fine the second month they charged me then kicked me off sayin my doctor said it wasn't a"good fit" all I needed was a simple way to get my prescription instead of having to go into a doctors office to get them. Then they let me sign back up and charged me again then canceled my appointment 3 hrs before it and I have to email them for a refund. Which i don't even understand how I'm not a good fit ? I have anxiety and just needed medication for that but apparently I'm not a good fit makes no sense I recommended people to try it too and they also said they weren't a good fit but yet they're supposed to be here to help with remote care ? Don't use this service”
“My doctor has been wonderful but I haven’t had my medication now for a week because of a shipping issue. I messaged support and still haven’t received any response. I’ve now taken a major setback in my recovery without having consistent medication.”
“While I support the concept of virtual mental health management, I have been extremely disappointed in Brightside. I joined two month’s ago, and while my virtual doctor’s visit went well, I waited over a week for my medications. I am now waiting over a week AGAIN the second month. Considering these are controlled substances, I would assume Brightside would be adamant about patients receiving their medications promptly. Shame on me for assuming. Customer service is slow and less than helpful at solving this problem. I had to reach out to my doctor and have him send over a small supply through a different pharmacy. I sincerely hope for the future of your business that you can fix these issues. Best of luck, I’ll be looking elsewhere.”
“Im not doing well and need my meds adjusted. And truepill keep filling and refilling the current medication even though i still have pills left-they are giving me a months worth every 15 days and happily charging me for it. I feel just as bad if not worse than when I started.”
“My meds arent working and as for now i hacent had any communication with my doctor on what to do. Im not happy witth the outcome of how this is working for the amount of money im paying.”
“Meds are not helping as much as I hoped. I like that Brightside sends me my meds in the mail. I like the face to face with the psychiatrist. But I need talk therapy also. Does Brightside have psychologists or any therapists that I can do talk therapy with?”
We're sorry that your treatment hasn't had the result you were hoping for, Marlis. Like any medical treatment, it's not possible to guarantee that every single person will respond - this is especially true with depression given how complex it is. Brightside does not offer therapy sessions but we do offer an easy digital Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program for everyone, which teaches simple skills that can have a big impact. We can refer you to a therapy service.
Despite not seeing the symptom improvement you hoped for, we hope you've had a positive experience with Brightside and we're always here to help.
