“The Brute Force workouts keep my body guessing on what is going to happen to it every day. The workouts given by email or on the app are outstanding and do not take a tremendous amount of time out of the day. My body is sore after every workout because the Brute Force bags I have are filled with different amounts of sand and also have the insertable filler (lead shot) bags to shift the weight while working out. I truly enjoy working out using the workouts provided and at 51 yrs of age, I need the workouts to maintain lean muscle mass, balance and a strong core.”
“I enjoy the product and academy PT has been good. Customer service is lacking and inconsistent. I was making a purchase for my department's training academy and it was difficult to make contact with one individual to make a purchase of approximately 40 sandbags. Efforts to follow up on the multiple purchases were hit and miss. I think the concept of Brute Bucks is nice; however, when the only benefit is the same discount signing up for emails gets you, a purchase such as this does not allow me to use rewards for additional academy equipment.”

“I am very happy with the sandbags, kettlebell bags, and weight vest I have purchased from Brute Force. We have a small training group that gets together at 5am and we begin our training with a 2 mile weight vest run. We then do one of the sandbag workouts on the app or one of the program workouts if we are training for the BF mile or Murph. There is a lot of variety in the training and the sandbags give us a chance to train outdoors whenever possible, which is my favorite place to throw down!”
“We were true Brute Force fans until our last engagement when we needed to order new shells to replace the ones we had that had worn down. We didn't need the fillers but only the shells. When our order arrived, 5 of the bags were the Scout size instead of the Athlete size, so, they were too small. And, we got a large stack of fillers that were too big for anything we had, so, they weren't really usable even if we had ordered them (I'm still wondering if they actually charged us for them). I was willing to own that we MIGHT have made a mistake and got the Scout size confused with the Athlete size bags but all we wanted to do send them back and get the Athlete size and that's where we hit a road block. All communication just stopped. We dealt with two different people in the process and both just stopped returning emails and calls. We spent about $1K on shells and we have 5 of the 12 ordered that are too small for the fillers we have, so they aren't being used until I can find fillers that fit from another brand. The product is great but our experience with the company and customer service left us with no choice but to look for another brand.”
“Very disappointed in the manner that this item is promoted. I purchased the 55 lbs model thinking that the 5 lbs adaptive filler bags were included. The description, at least to me, does not make it clear.
I was further disappointed when I received the KB with a large filler bag which was rated at 30lbs, meaning I would have to make another purchase so I can use the KB at the weight they are rated, 55 lbs.
This is not my first purchase of Brute Force gear. I have three different sized sandbags, the older style vest, and an older version KB. My biggest disappointment is that in those purchases I was able to use them right out of the box once I filled the fillers that came with the items, unlike this purchase.
Brute Force should consider a number to actually speak to someone in customer service instead of email. Trevor Tom, BFHQ Manager, never seemed to ever understand what the issue was, thinking there was confusion between purchasing the weighted version as opposed to the empty version. That and the price difference between the two versions was probably the clearest thing on the website.
Returning on principle.”

“The adaptive sand kettlebell has been great so far! Really smart idea to offer the ability to incrementally load from 5lbs up to 55lbs (just to note, the 55lb version also feels fine with just 5lbs in it). It's only been a couple of weeks but so far I have enjoyed using my sand kettlebell over my iron ones.”
