“Sending me this is a joke , my order was damaged paid delivery charge waiting for new stock until you can deliver my order and have the cheek to send hope your happy with your purchase and still yet I am waiting for my order”

“Order was supposed to arrive last Wednesday no phone call or email but I chased it on the following Monday to find it the order was damaged so it was returned and now they don't have any in stock so cannot fullfil the order.”

“Shocking customer service. Order dispatch email on the 1st August, order finally arrived on the 12th August. Four attempts at calling to find out, phone rang off after 5 minutes each time, after two days I finally got to speak to a human who couldn’t give any further information. Two emails sent to sales and still no reply. Overall customer service is shocking. Won’t be using again or recommending.”

“I ordered a sheet of "Hardwood Plywood | B/BB Grade WBP Exterior Plywood (18mm)" with description including "The boards are extremely resistant to wear and any moisture damage due to their WBP Grading". What I was shipped was EN341-2 Class 1 plywood for interior use only. WPB would require a Class 3 product. Customer service were responsive but unable to ship a replacement board with Class 3 specification.”

“A disastrous result following the delivery of one offcut from a whole sheet of plywood which was ordered with specific measurements supplied to cut two square panels with two offcuts in total. Only one piece of plywood arrived and it is the offcut, amazing! Neither Builders Market Place nor the courier Tuffnells were able to give us a time nor day when it was arriving, only by the end of the week!!!!!! So no surprise we missed the delivery even though we were both here! I have raised the issue with customer services and after several days am now waiting for the issue to be solved by a partial refund or supply the missing panels. What a fiasco!”

“Placed an order and when is was about to be shipped I realised that I had not ordered enough so I rang and they held the order until i I added more to it, great. Then the next morning I had a call and was told they had nothing in Stock. What a waste of time! But I was refunded quickly. STOCK CHECK NEEDED!!”

“No idea what the product is like as it has not arrived. The information I get is poor / misleading. Call backs don’t happen. If you have loads of time to waste in your life this could be the company for you.”

“Delivered marine ply was 4mm out on advised cut size unable to use, when I called them they asked for photo evidence which when I was on a deadline to finish a project that was the last thing I was going to spend time doing sourced elsewhere. Will never be using them again. Thank you”

“I placed my order with you for 9 lengths of 3.6 metre 2 x 6 timber you took payment processed my order told me you were going to deliver and then phoned to say the timber was out of stock then tried to get me to have 7 x 4.8 metre lengths- so now waiting for 3.6 metre lengths to come back in stock”
