The customer service needs seriously reviewing. Absolutely appalling service. Phone numbers don't work, Or they cut you off when you get to the front of the queue. They have 'customer service training' at lunch time!! They don't reply to emails.

I have used Buy a Gift.com many times to buy gifts for friends. The gifts arrived very promptly and I can highly recommend this company.

Ordered 2 gifts, one arrived within 2 days the other Afternoon Tea at Patisserie Valerie I have not received but money has been taken from account.I emailed customer service but have not had a response as yet,very disappointed as this was a birthday gift.

I previously bought some vouchers but with Covid I have only used 1 , however I now find that the 2x hotel stays with afternoon tea which I bought together so assumed when I extended the date for vouchers that it would include both the overnight stay & the tea but it seems that the afternoon tea has expired , can you pls explain to me why this is as I am not satisfied as no where does it state I have seperate vouchers for these as they were bought as a package , however trying to contact you & still waiting on a call back a wk later & cannot seem to be able to get to speak to an advisor , need call back asap as a very dissatisfied customer,

Can't get hold of customer services. Tried phoning - on hold for over 60 mins. Sent 2 contact forms. Tried live chat no joy. I want to purchase tickets for theatre without success. Poor quality of service Would not recommend buy a gift to anyone.

When I tried to book the experience I’d paid for there was only one date all year available. I’ve tried to ask for a refund as the site promises but it seems impossible to get in touch and arrange this. The website recommended Live Chat to resolve but this is not available even during the short hours they say it should be. The ‘refund within 60days’ offer feels disingenuous….

I bought a gift voucher on the Tuesday (paid extra for a gift box as I didn’t want to give just a piece of paper the my daughter) & £7.50 extra for fast postage as I was leaving the country on the Saturday & needed it to take with me. When I left on Saturday it has STILL not arrived 4 days after ordering. Even if it had been sent first class it should have arrived by Thursday at the latest. Tried to call customer service 3 times but was in the phone so long waiting each time I had to hang up. !

Attempted to contact via telephone. Holding on for 36 minutes before giving up. Absolutely terrible experience regarding customer service. Very disappointing.

Had a short break gift, website would not apply filters to narrow down regions of the country, persisted and found something appropriate. Had to telephone the venue to finalise availability on the dates, only to be told there is a £20 a day additional charge. Buyagift cannot be spoken to on the phone, absolute nightmare to work through all their layers of admin and obstacles. Don’t bother with buyagift, too much grief!

Never received my gift. I ordered it in plenty of time for my girlfriend's birthday, and it hasn't arrived which has really ruined everything. They make it super difficult to get in contact with customer service as well so what can I do?!

I attempted to book a holiday with 3 venues and there was no availability for the rest of the year - 9 months. This seems awfully strange. I received no response to my initial letter to the company and so hopefully the second email will yield a result

Well on receiving side - given voucher at work. What a useless rubbish! Designed for single adult, no children! Any experience involving family we need to pay massive extra for experience I don’t want! As I simply refuse to use that little time I have during weekend by myself - it’s on for half year and strongly goes to bin! If you really want to give a present- just give! Post office offers gift cards which redeemable everywhere!

I am shocked to see any good reviews. I tried to leave a review on Facebook but they removed the option to review. So I bought my husband a car driving experience. When booking a day they were trying to charge an extra £50 for insurance. So we decided to change it and book something else. Comedy club with various locations. It stated Liverpool but they had the Wirral and then Leeds. Extra charges apply to most experiences... when you try to book!!!!!! We looked at a spa... The spa had no sauna and steam open. Everytime you try to rebook something they charge you. I'm really disappointed I spent £180 for my husbands 30th and literally had been the biggest disappointed. If you see something on buy a gift go direct to the experience company, it will be cheaper and you know you will be getting what you want. Awful business and never again.

THESE VOUCHERS FOR 2 DAY HOTEL BREAK ARE VERY MISLEADING! iT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANYWHERE DECENT iF YOU WANT A PROPER CHOICE IT COSTS ALOT MORE MONEY NOT GOOD AT ALL 1 AM TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK!

This was a gift was given by my nephew who saved hard for it. Covid meant we had to pay an extra £20 as the voucher ran out of date. This was for the Double Supercar Thrill. I chose Dunsfold as that is near to where I live - only to discover you have to pay extra to experience the facilities there. Then I discovered the voucher did not include weekends - so that would have been an extra £20. Then there was a limited choice of cars to drive - unless, of course, you paid for an upgrade fee for each car. Then there was extra to pay for insurance (another £35). At that point I was ready to just throw the voucher in the trash - except I thought I couldn't do that with my nephew's gift. I pleaded that there were no more charges. I was assured there were none - except ones that were up to me!!!! I am expecting to have to pay to park, to walk across the tarmac, use the toilets, breath the air etc, etc. Not something I would recommend
