Received voucher promptly BUT feel inappropriate for you to seek a review BEFORE have tried to book the activity AND experienced the activity. It would be more appropriate to seek reviews AFTER activity has taken place, to give potential future customers honest customer feedback from those who have already tried the activity. Otherwise, it's meaningless to seek reviews on a piece of paper received with no knowledge of what that is buying yet, and is therefore misleading to future customers to seek reviews from those who have bought your vouchers before we've even attempted to book the activity concerned.

Delivery - while no fault of yours Hermes is the most useless delivery service on this planet! They claimed they did not receive the package whilst I paid a next day delivery I had to settle with e vouchers and cut and paste exercises! BuyaGift sort it out use a better delivery service or don’t offer next day delivery Thanks

Purchased this gift for elderly relatives not realising they would need access to the internet to register use which they do not have. So unfortunately disappointed and this would deter me from purchasing via Buyagift again.

Found the extra charge for 'next day' delivery a bit misleading. I ordered the gift on a Friday, paid the extra charge, received the gift Tuesday morning. In the small print it states, next day delivery after it has been dispatched.

If you made your order after this, it would have not been processed till the following working day. We are very sorry for any disappointment caused and hope the above helps!

getting a refund was hard work, two emails , two phone calls , no direct way in to refunds

Hi there, We are sorry to hear you found our refund policy difficult to follow. We cannot authorise refunds over email, and the original purchaser needs to call up within 60 days of purchase to request one. I have however passed your comments over to our management team to review and ensure future improvements are made.

I found getting a refund (I inadvertently bought the same gift twice) quite hard work; after two emails I apparently had to telephone. After two attempts and a 15minute wait I got through to "REFUNDS"who were very helpful . There is no choice on the telephone for refunds, you hav to work your way through, This seems in contrast to the very visible "60 day REFUND" strap line.

Tried logging into my account to view my e-voucher, to find they don't recognise the email linking to any account (bearing I mind its the same email they've been contacting me on). Also, they asked for confirmation of my address, which I did. I was told in the same email that they would inform me when the payment etc had been accepted. Haven't received it at all, to which I'm now unable to gift the voucher. Disappointed, would not use again unfortunately.

Our account system is used for ordering products on our website and is no way linked to the redemption or activation of our vouchers. Your email address will not be recognised unless you have registered for an account with us. To redeem/activate your voucher, please visit our activation site www.buyagift.co.uk/myvoucher. If you would like to create an account for future purchases, please visit our website and click on 'your account' on the top right hand corner of the page and register for a new account. Refund policy fine. But I used this service in order to buy a gift and it was only after the point of purchase that additional supplement charges were made apparent, so this was disappointing and disruptive to my plans

Hi Janet, I’m afraid once the voucher has been processed we are unable to change this. However if you do particularly want a copy of your voucher posted to you, please visit www.buyagift.com/myvoucher where you can exchange your voucher to the same experience again and this can be posted out to you. Simply log in and click on the ‘Exchange my Voucher’ button. I hope this helps!

Overcharged for afternoon tea by Buyagift. Ghyl manor, Rusper. Hotel price is £20 pp Buyagift charged me £22 pp. This wasn’t a good deal .

All prices are signed-off by our suppliers before the vouchers are released for sale, and although we are not a discount site, we do strive to reach the best deal possible for our customers. Have used buy Buyagift a few times. But disappointed to find on visiting Ghyl Manor, Rusper. for afternoon tea today we would paid less than the buyafift deal just walking in. £20 pp walk ins £22 pp with buyagift. Unfortunately this will make me think twice about using this service again.
